"No!" Alexander Hargrove's voice tore through the silence of the room as the snake's fangs pierced his father's neck. "Guards! Seize him immediately!"

The well-trained security personnel rushed forward, their faces twisted with a mixture of duty and fear. They formed a tight circle around Yemin but maintained a cautious distance, eyes fixed on the deadly serpent still coiled around his arm.

"Don't come any closer," one guard warned the others, his voice tight with tension. "That thing could strike any of us next."

Alexander's face had turned a deep shade of crimson as he pointed an accusing finger at Yemin. "You won't get away with murdering my father, you charlatan! I'll see you rot in prison for this!"

Several spectators gasped in horror. The medical professionals exchanged glances of shocked disbelief, having expected Yemin to extract some kind of medicine from the snake, not use it as a weapon against an already weakened patient.

A businessman from the conference, his face flushed with fever, looked at Yemin with disbelief."Are you completely insane? Why would a healthy person willingly run into a death trap like this?""Maybe he has a death wish," muttered a woman nearby, her voice hoarse from the toxin's effects."Rich people do crazy shit when they get bored."Another victim, a middle-aged lawyer, struggled to sit up on his cot."Listen, Mr. Billionaire, I don't know what kind of hero complex you've got going on, but we don't need some wannabe doctor playing with our lives.""That's right," agreed another man, his breathing labored."We've seen what happens when rich people think they know better than professionals. Just look at the CDC doctors outside – even they're getting sick despite their fancy suits."Yemin continued working, preparing syringes and measuring out precise dosages of his synthesized cure."I'm not here to debate my qualifications with you.""Qualifications?" the lawyer scoffed."What qu

Yemin sat in his Jaguar for a moment, his mind racing as he watched the chaotic scene unfolding before him.The CDC's incompetence was going to cost lives, and Faye was trapped inside with a toxin that was clearly beyond their understanding."If they won't let me help from out here," he muttered to himself, "then I'll have to get inside with the quarantined people."He drove around to the back of the building where the quarantine tents had been hastily erected.Security was lighter in this area, focused more on keeping people in rather than keeping people out.Yemin slipped between two tents and quickly located a medical supply station.A CDC technician was busy labeling blood samples when Yemin approached from behind."Excuse me," Yemin said politely. The technician turned around. "Sir, you can't be back here. This is a restricted—"Yemin's hand moved with practiced precision, striking a pressure point on the man's neck. The technician crumpled unconsciously to the ground. Yemin quic

The line went dead as a hazmat worker gently removed the device from Faye's grasp.Fifteen minutes later, a sleek black Jaguar roared into the emergency perimeter, drawing attention from all the first responders. Yemin stepped out of the vehicle, his face set with grim determination as he surveyed the scene."Who's in charge here?" he demanded, striding toward the command center that had been set up in the parking lot.Dr. Thompson looked up from his tablet, his expression immediately shifting to one of irritation. "And you are?""Yemin Morgan. I have people inside that building, and I may be able to help with the medical situation."Dr. Thompson's eyes narrowed with recognition. "Oh, I know who you are. I saw you on TV during that whole rape trial fiasco. Very dramatic stuff.""This isn't about publicity," Yemin said firmly. "I have advanced medical knowledge that could be crucial in treating these victims."Dr. Thompson laughed dismissively, his condescending tone grating against Ye

Within minutes of the first emergency call, the wailing of sirens filled the air around the Grand Metropolitan Conference Center. Fire trucks, ambulances, and hazmat units converged on the scene as reports of a chemical attack spread through the emergency dispatch system.Fire Chief Robert Martinez was the first to arrive, but as soon as his team detected the presence of an unknown gas, he immediately ordered a full perimeter lockdown."Nobody goes in or out until we know what we're dealing with," he barked into his radio. "This could be anything from a terrorist attack to an industrial accident."The hazmat unit arrived within twenty minutes, their specialized equipment detecting trace amounts of an unidentified airborne toxin. Team leader Dr. Sarah Williams emerged from her initial assessment with a grim expression."Chief, we need to call the CDC immediately," she reported. "This isn't anything in our database. The chemical signature is completely unknown.""How bad are we talking?

As Faye made her way toward the stage entrance, she scanned the audience through a gap in the curtains. The attendees were settling into their seats, chatting quietly among themselves. Then her eyes fell on a familiar figure in the back row."Is that James Franx?" she murmured to herself, frowning slightly.James sat slouched in his seat, his appearance disheveled and his eyes fixed on the stage with an intensity that made Faye uncomfortable. He definitely wasn't on the guest list, but she decided not to make a scene by having him removed."I guess everyone's entitled to attend a public conference," she said to herself, though something about his presence felt wrong. As she approached the podium, James suddenly stood up and began walking toward the front of the auditorium. Faye paused, watching him with growing unease."Ms. Langford," James called out, his voice carrying across the quiet room. "Before you begin your little presentation, I have something to say."The audience turned to

In his penthouse office, Yemin stared at the morning news with a mixture of frustration and cold calculation. The headline read: "Charges Dropped Against Businessman Justin Castellanos Due to Lack of Evidence." He turned off the television and rubbed his temples, the weight of the situation pressing down on him."This is exactly what I expected would happen," he said to Marcus Chen, who sat across from his desk reviewing police reports."The evidence tampering was thorough," Marcus replied grimly. "They didn't leave anything to chance.""Even if I handed my own copy of the evidence back to Captain Rodriguez, the fact remains that most of the people willing to testify and back it up have either recanted their statements or mysteriously disappeared," Yemin said, his voice filled with controlled anger. "Dead witnesses can't testify."Marcus leaned forward. "So what's our next move?""It's obvious this was all the work of Agent Collins," Yemin continued, his analytical mind working throug
