The fortress of Cellok pulsed with dark life. Its roots stretched deep into the underworld, its crown vanishing into a sky split between fire and shadow. Every leaf upon its black branches hummed with whispers, the voices of ancient gods, trapped and bound by the will of one.

And that night, for the first time in centuries, Evilside herself rose from her throne.

The great hall filled with Liroids, assassins, queens, warriors, and oracles gathered beneath the bleeding sigil of their goddess. Queen Dark stood at the front, robed in midnight silk, her crown of iron whispering. Snake and Dragon flanked her, the twin instruments of the goddess’s wrath. Blood, head of assassins, waited beside Heartless, keeper of the academy, while Doom, Irinrode, and the first Liroid queens knelt in reverence.

Even Queen Doom herself had come aged, terrible, her eyes molten silver. She leaned upon a staff of bone, her gaze fixed upon the black altar as though she already knew the storm that would follow.
