  "H-how?! Who are you? Why are you helping Hamilton?" Aurora collected the cheque, gave it to one of the men immediately, 

 "Ma'am it's real." The reply made her world halt in an instant. 

 "So who are you?" Aurora faced Daniel. "You showed up out of nowhere, and the first thing you do is save Doctor Hamilton."

 Daniel remained unfazed. "I believe everyone has their own form of self interest. Just like you, I have mine."

 Aurora's face reddened with rage. She felt like giving an order for Daniel to get squashed like a bug but, whoever Daniel is, he had succeeded in preventing her from doing something she enjoyed doing the most with her time. 

 For the first time ever, someone had thwarted her plans. 

  She came closer, their faces inches apart. "I don't know who you are but mark my words, this isn't over yet."

 "Should I walk you out?" a playful gesture curled up Daniel's face. 

 Aurora's face flushed with anger even more. Being double crossed and that by a boy?

 She stormed out of the conference room, followed by the faction x soldiers. 

 The first nurse giggled as she held the other two nurses together, "Would you look at that, my prince charming saves the day!"  

 "Cut it out Maggi, he's just a kid who got lucky."

 Maggi jaws dropped. "What the hell do you mean?! he fucking cleared the debt Doctor Hamilton owed Miss Aurora Ferguson."

 "That doesn't change anything." The first nurse for some reason had a bad feeling about Daniel. 

 Daniel helped the doctor up. "It's okay, you're safe now."

 The doctor sat down and drank a bottle of water. Sweats trickled down his forehead. 

 Daniel sat on the table. "Well I saved your hospital from being owned by a sociopath. I'm sure I'll see her again. Very soon."

 "Boy!" Hamilton stood up fast, throwing the bottle away. "Who are you?! what do you want?"

 Daniel looked away. He looked different, mood changed.

 The question is, what does he want? 

 Revenge, he wanted to see people begging, no! He wanted to see Hayes crawling at his feet, begging for mercy. 

 "Hello?" 

 Daniel snapped, "Sorry," he adjusted his shirt. "You were saying something?"

 'Ahh Ragebait!?' The doctor dragged his own hair. "I am asking who you are and why did you help me?"

  "Oh... that's right. Why did I help you? What's my agenda? Well, for starters I'm going to start by clearing the rest of your debts." The doctor stood there, taken aback by the kid's boldness. Was he some rich kid who just decided to come spend his money on a dying hospital?

  Daniel had taken his phone and deposited the total of $80k in the doctor's account. "That should automatically clear your debts."

 When the doctor checked his phone, he saw the notification alert of $80k. He wasn't dreaming. 

 "So Doctor Hamilton. What do you think would have happened if I didn't arrive on time to save your hospital from Miss Aurora Ferguson?"

 Hamilton thought for a moment. Knowing Aurora, she was found demolishing and rebuilding empires, she'd obviously do the same to the hospital. "It would have lived to see the next day..." he turned slowly, "...Aurora would have demolished it and made all the workers homeless."

 "And the shareholders?"

 Hamilton sighed. "They wouldn't care."

 "And what of the board, what's that one possible thing they would do?"

 "The worst thing obviously but—"

 Daniel interrupted him "—but I saved your hospital when no one could."

Hamilton couldn't believe he was agreeing with a kid. "Yes..."

  Without a second thought, a meeting is called and directors arrive, their discussion amongst one another clearly proved they all thought they were there to discuss the bankruptcy only to hear from different sides that debts had been cleared. 

 "Impossible!" Director Sal exclaimed. 

 That was everyone's reaction. No one expected the debts to be cleared in 1 day, even if, how? who did?

"Good morning gentlemen." Daniel's voice dropped into the room. Everyone met him taking a seat at the last chair. One where everyone could see him clearly. 

 "What's a child doing here?" Director Sal pointed out.

 "Who let him in?"

 "No one... but that isn't important right, I thought we all want to know who paid off your debts. I mean, wouldn't that be much more balanced information?" Daniel relaxed his back. 

 "Who are you kidding, boy, that has nothing to do with you."

 Daniel frowned. "You're all just stubborn and arrogant like Miss Aurora Ferguson but that's fine though."

 "Hell, are we going to sit here and watch this kid insult us as he wishes?" 

 "I paid the $100, 000, 000 for your hospital." Daniel dropped the bomb on them.

 There was silence but it didn't last, laughter broke out across the board but Daniel remained unfazed, he simply crossed his legs on the table and savored their foolishness. 

 "Stop! stop it now!" Hamilton yelled. "He's not lying, he paid the $100, 000, 000 in full... he paid off Miss Aurora Ferguson before she could take away the hospital, you can see for yourself. Even security footage is present!" Hamilton played the clip, everyone watched it, Daniel had given Miss Aurora Ferguson a cheque worth $20k dollars. 

And, he paid Hamilton $80k. 

 The room goes silent. They couldn't deny it, they wouldn't dare laugh anymore. Their throat dried up, their heart fell into their stomach, the boy seated at the end of the table is the sole reason Coastal City Hospital is still alive. 

 "This is insane!" Director Sal spoke up, "What do you want from this hospital, there has to be something! You must be interested in something, maybe the nurses? What else could a kid like you want?"

 "A stake maybe?" Daniel replied almost instantly like he had already anticipated his question. 

  Sal was going to say something again but the board lawyer shunned him. "That's enough Sal, no more." 

  "But—"

 "I said no more."

 If anything, Sal felt embarrassed, being shunned because of a child? How comforting. 

 With that, the lawyer cleared his throat.

 "The company has insufficient liquidity. Existing shareholders are unable to raise capital. Under emergency restructuring provisions, the board may issue new shares in exchange for capital injection."

 "I do not quite follow..." Sal said. 

 "Without Mr. Daniel's capital, this hospital ceases operations within days. Existing shareholders have failed to provide funding. Therefore, dilution is preferable to insolvency." He explained. 

 Sal slammed his fist on the table. "That's outrageous! you will be handling over the hospital to a fucking child.'

  "Alright then." the lawyer paused. "Can you provide the capital?"

 Sal was unable to speak. 

 "Can you?" 

 No answer. 

  "Can anyone provide 100 million dollars since handing the hospital to a child in order to save the hospital and allow it to cease operation is a problem?" 

 Still no answer came. Even Sal was unable to find the right words. Daniel didn't even need to say anything.

  "I see... no one can provide it, then there should be no further objections as the motion to issue new shares stands." 

  With an emergency share issuance issued, old shareholders are diluted. 

 Daniel signs the paper with a grin, he could smell Sal's discomfort. Almost as if the man wanted to rip the room in half because the hospital had now been transferred to Daniel. 

  Daniel now owned about 80% of the shares. And Hamilton, due to the situation of things, he owned 15% of the shares.

  Before anything else can be said, "Oh, and also, Director Sal, you're fired." Daniel made everyone's blood cold. A kid had just fired Sal, how crazy is that?

 "You can't just fire me!" 

 "Oh? but I just did." Daniel stood up from where he sat, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Now get lost and never show your face here again."

 Unable to stand the humiliation any longer, Sal storms out of the conference room. 

 Everyone else also dismisses themselves leaving Hamilton and Daniel alone. 

 "Thank You."

 "For?"

 Hamilton felt like crying. He was going to lose his hospital today but fate changed that. "You very well know what you did son."

 Daniel smiled, "Sure, I won't always be here anyways, I have things to do so technically the hospital still belongs regardless of the share you have. I'm leaving you in charge of the hospital while I'm gone."

 Hamilton wanted to say something but Daniel had already stepped outside with the door shutting close.

 Eyes scamming the environment as a family sound churned in his head
