"Wait where will I sleep?" Daniel came to a sharp halt. He had been walking under the hot sun for hours, believing he knew where he was going.

But looking at it now, he didn't know.

He had just remembered Victor threw him out of his apartment which meant he had no home to go to, unless.

  Daniel checked out his profile.

 [ — Host Status — ]

 [ Daniel Hayes ]

 [ Age : 19 ]

 [ Wealth : $20,024,517.38 ]

 [ Rank : F (Heir) ]

 [ Title : N/Q ]

 [ Legacy Points : 100 ]

 [ Skills : Opportunity Sense (F-Rank) ] — Enhanced Reflexes Lvl. 1 — Enhanced Regenerative Factor Lvl. 1 ]

 [ Next Sign-In: 21:20:09 ]

"I have about twenty thousand dollars. I should be able to buy myself a new apartment if not a house." Daniel smirked to himself as he proceeded to move around coast city.

 Although,

Daniel hadn't gone far when a message probe in front of him..

 [ Ding! ]

 [ — Legacy System Task — ]

[ The host must spend out of wealth under any circumstances. Host should secure a spot to sleep tonight before 12 past midnight. ]

 [ Penalty : Loss of wealth — $ 20, 024, 517.38 ]

 [ Time : Till 12 Past Midnight ]

Daniel's knees almost buckled, the legacy system and yet again threatened him with another valuable he didn't want to lose.

"But where do I sleep?" The troubling question hung in the air. "He couldn't obviously go back to the apartment he was thrown out of, yet alone the Hayes family mansion itself."

It was too obvious, Daniel had no where to go and the system was busy playing mind games with him.

 Meanwhile...

 At the Ferguson Tower.

The Ferguson tower is amongst Coast City's top finest state of art. When it comes down to height at magnificence, the Ferguson tower had it all.

One would think the Ferguson tower was the ultimate predator of coastcity at that point.

Inside, on the 42th floor of the tower, three powerful men sat and drank around a glass table.

Men who could bring down an entire building with just a phone call. Each and everyone of them were A Rank Grandmasters.

In Coast City, there's a normal ranking system for all individuals.

E Rank — Novice : Ordinary individuals just entering society's power structure.

D Rank — Skilled : Professionals with influence in a city or industry.

C Rank — Elite : Recognized figures with wealth, status, or exceptional talent.

B Rank — Master : Individuals capable of influencing an entire region.

A Rank — Grandmaster : Leaders of major corporations, organizations, and powerful families

 Do other ranks exist?

 Yes, maybe.

 Are they dangerous?

 Yes, maybe not.

 Can it be listed out?

No, might never even be talked about.

 The remaining ranks remain classified.

The Three Grandmasters in the room were the head of Coast City's most powerful families.

 The Ferguson Family,

 The Kingmaker Family,

 The Frost Family.

James Ferguson, The Ferguson patriarch, Aurora's father. Silver haired with white beards. Had the eyes of an eagle. He pictured the man who'd move mountains just to keep his empire standing tall. Merely in his sixties and he was strong and durable as ever to take on anything that brought discomfort to his family.

Across sat the blue eyed Marcus Kingsmaker, the one who quoted "Every man's success begins with his downfall. " An hotel magnate, if you checked his phone, you'd see several organisations pleading to work with him. By his side, Jerry Frost, the rumored king of exploiting the weakness of Organizations below the three families.

No Organization whatsoever is safe from Jerry Frost.

These three men together ruled coast city and could reshape it if they desired. James poured himself an expensive wine and drank like there was no tomorrow.

"An incredulous blast I must say!" James cheered, his voice as thick as the gods. You would mistake him for Thor Odinson if you stared at his greek god physique for too long.

Marcus nodded, leaning back on his chair as he sipped from his glass cup. "It was indeed an Incredulous blast James but have you seen the news about coast city hospital?"

James who seemed so devoted to the wine bottle that he didn't take his of the glass he was pouring wine into. "The one at Firstgate? Doctor Hamilton's?"

"Yes." Marcus confirmed. "Last I heard, dear aurora wanted to tear down that place so badly since Hamilton owed her a lot."

"I remember." He stopped pouring and prepared to down the whole cup.

"But today, someone bought it and I am not sure if it's Aurora. She was eager to demolish the hospital and build a new luxury hotel there and earn profit."

Jerry raised a brow. "Are you being serious now Marcus, where do you get your information from?"

"While you two made women moan your names, I watched the news. The news reporter said a young man had walked into a heated confrontation between Doctor Hamilton and the Third richest woman in the city; Aurora Ferguson. Further information revealed she was paid what she owed and so were the rest of the men that Hamilton owed."

James finally took his eyes off the glass cups. "What?!"

"Your daughter got beaten in her own game James," Marcus pointed out. "Only the heavens know how she's feeling now."

 James checked his phone. The moment he turned it on, a series of notifications popped in. The only thing that seized his attention was;

[ — 30 missed calls from my little Ferguson princess — ] He exhaled a sigh of exasperation and said,

"Apparently she tried to reach out to me." James then set his phone down. "Unfortunately I was too busy."

Marcus rolled his eyes back as he relaxed his back. "All in all, I want to know who the mysterious young latter is."

  Ding!

The elevator doors burst open. Shocking the three men in the room.

Standing by the doorway like a hurricane in human form was none other Aurora Ferguson

They all got up instinctively, her hair framed her like a mad woman, her make up, in all her years, Aurora never looked awful and her eyes, god her eyes burned with rage, she wanted to rip something apart. The fury in her eyes, even the three grandmasters seemed intimidated but refused to show it.

There was only one person responsible for making her look like this. Only one boy and he has a legacy system.

 Daniel Hayes.

The Blackwell Manor. "You lost her?" A man's cold inhuman voice filled the entire room like a thunder clap. The men in black stiffened. These men in black were faction X soldiers. "I gave you all a simple task! capture the damn girl and finish her off for good and bring back the black card." His voice raises through "Honey relax, it's started raining after all, they must have been unable to see her during the storm." "Storm my foot." The man thundered. "They are super powered for fuck sake and she, Theresa has no skills whatever, she's just as useless as her father." He kicked the table beside him so hard it shattered. His eyes exploded with intense fury as he moved around, restless, provoked. Red hair, black tux, red tie, mid thirties. He grabbed one of the soldiers. "Where was the last place you saw her?" His eyes fuming with intense rage as he asked. "Sir, we have no clue, it started raining when he had her in plain sight, she disappeared into a crowd and by the tim

'Two million?' Daniel almost choked. 'So One million for a night?' Daniel couldn't believe it. But, the lady beside him, didn't question the receptionist. She handed over a black card, whatsoever she was running or hiding from definitely made her blind to the obvious. Daniel wouldn't pay that amount even if he was allowed to spend out of his wealth, it wouldn't be two million. Hell, Daniel felt a great urge to buy the motel and rebrand it, to make it fair for customers and employees. It was a simple motel, not even a five star hotel. For a moment, Daniel wanted to say something while the transaction happened but he remembered; the system—do not spend your wealth! ‘Fuck the rules.’ Daniel cursed. As the beep sound occured the woman spoke fast, "Keys." She really wanted to get out of there. Daniel couldn't argue with that, he also wanted to get some rest but the thought of having a lady with him was practically not part of the plan. The receptionist felt uncomforta

It was starting to get dark, Daniel still hadn't found a place to crash for the night. It also looked like it was going to rain. Clouds turned grey in moments and the eerie feeling of a storm coming made Daniel's skin hair stand. If he couldn't spend out of his wealth then what? Was he supposed to magically convince someone to just let him crash with them for the night? Daniel Hayes grew up having no friends, all his life he dedicated it to his studies and grandfather. What many never knew about Daniel is how smart and intelligent he is. All those years having no friends was the result of it. Except he had a love interest but... he would never consider it as one. Daniel walked up miles upon miles, before he crashed on a road side bench, dehydrated. Daniel thought of getting a bottle of water but heck no, the legacy system was strict about its rules. Food, water—Daniel needed them, desperately. Daniel clicked open his tab and focused his gaze more solely on the w

"H-how?! Who are you? Why are you helping Hamilton?" Aurora collected the cheque, gave it to one of the men immediately, "Ma'am it's real." The reply made her world halt in an instant. "So who are you?" Aurora faced Daniel. "You showed up out of nowhere, and the first thing you do is save Doctor Hamilton." Daniel remained unfazed. "I believe everyone has their own form of self interest. Just like you, I have mine." Aurora's face reddened with rage. She felt like giving an order for Daniel to get squashed like a bug but, whoever Daniel is, he had succeeded in preventing her from doing something she enjoyed doing the most with her time. For the first time ever, someone had thwarted her plans. She came closer, their faces inches apart. "I don't know who you are but mark my words, this isn't over yet." "Should I walk you out?" a playful gesture curled up Daniel's face. Aurora's face flushed with anger even more. Being double crossed and that by a boy? She stormed out of t

There were about two nurses outside watching him react in abnormal ways and wondered if he was okay. The lady by the side of the door took her eyes or the window, "What happened to him? He's looking like some final world boss about to take over the world." "Yeah right." The second nurse rolled her eyeballs with folded hands. "Didn't you see him, his manly pose?" "Oh come on, stop it, you don't even know this guy and you're being thrilled by him?" The lady held a look that asked if she was mad. The first nurse giggled and added. "But we have to admit he's cute." "You're impossible." She palmed her forehead "The patient hasn't received any visitor in five days, yet alone a flower." The first nurse didn't seem concerned as she said. "Well! That says he's not married." "Girl would you shut it! He looks 19, what a 26 year old gonna do with a kid?" "Kid or not, he's handsome." She seemed determined to make her move. "Nurse Vivian!" Another nurse rushed towards the two nurses
