Situation

A week passed since Bai chen started teaching rasengan to his parents, his daily life remained the same, except he started visiting Artie regularly to check upon his condition and he is looking forward to the future surprises Artie could give him.

Talking about Bai quing, he was still on the step of 'Containment' which is the third step of learning rasengan. In this step, the user must combine the first two steps into a contained sphere. To help in this regard, users may be given a balloon to help them visualise the intended shape; if the balloon is popped or otherwise moves, mastery is not yet achieved.

Bai quing should have finished learning the rasengan till now, but everything don't go as planned, it seems that situation with Karatachi Family resurfaced. Whole Bai clan was in a tense state because of this. The reason for Bai clan acting so tense wasn't because they feared Karatachi Family or were afraid of war, but the reason was the lack of personnel.

People with high status such as Daimyo, rich merchants or big business men employ shinobis to protect their interest from their enemies and no ninja clan would say no these employment opportunities.

Basically speaking, a ninja clan is like a group of mercenaries who would fight for you in exchange for money and resources. Of course, the price would vary according to the strength of the clan and the scale of the conflict.

The same is for the Bai clan, a month back they took the task offered by a neighbouring Daimyo to repel the shinobi forces hired by his enemy to invade his land. Because it was a significant task, majority of Bai clan forces were concentrated in that battle, including three elders, which caused the current situation of lack of personnel.

Bai quing and two of the remaining three elders had to lead the garrison and head to the conflict zone and handle the situation so that it wouldn't further deteriorate.

As for the grand elder and the remaining elder?

The clan land couldn't be left unprotected, so their duty is to prevent it from being ambushed by their enemies. These two people shouldn't be underestimated because the grand elder of the Bai clan was a kage-level shinobi and on the other hand the elder can be counted as the stronger one even in the level of an elite jonin.

The Bai clan right now is in a tight situation, they can't fight head on with the Karatachi Family, they can only defend and delay time and wait for the main forces to return from the mission.

Bai chen also wanted to particaipate in this war, so he talked to his father before he left. Although he knew that it was dangerous, but in this period if you want to become a true power house, you have to take face risks.

But his father wasn't a fan of his idea. Although his son had huge change and his strength was also different from the past, he still don't want to put his life at risk. Even more so, now that Bai chen has created a potential A-rank jutsu by himself.

If a twelve year old can create even a D-rank jutsu, he would be hailed as a genius, not to mention Bai chen who created a jutsu which didn't even need hand sign's at the age of seven. Though he has not confirmed the rank himself, at least he know that the jutsu created by Bai chen is actually real.

And not to mention the pain he would feel as a father but also from the prospective of a clan leader, if such a genius is lost due to their carelessness, it would be a big loss to Bai clan.

However, the genius son he wants to protect so much has already made up his mind to participate and no amount of persuasion worked on him.

Bai chen told Bai quing that children who were around his age and even those who were younger than him had already experienced multiple life and death scenarios. He as the son of clan leader cannot hide for too long and it would be better for his future if he can also experience war as early as possible.

Hearing Bai chen reasoning, Bai quing couldn't refute him because he knew that what Bai chen said is correct. Although he is a genius who can create a jutsu of his own, he still couldn't avoid the battlefield for too long. In the future he has to fight for the clan.

So, it would be better for Bai chen to get used to the blood shed now rather than later. This time he is the one who would be presiding over the battle, so he can regularly pay attention to Bai chen's situation and kids like them are generally not deployed at the dangerous part of the battlefield, instead they are kept at the rear to deal with the minions who slipped passed them from the main battlefield.

When Bai chen saw his father had agreed, he heaved a sigh of relief. Actually, he wasn't sure whether his father would agree with him, but now this problem was solved.

He could finally go to the battlefield, but before that he has to make his own preparation. A battlefield where death lingers at every turn, if he is not sufficiently prepared then he would be the first to die
