The fang rabbit lunged at Alden, its claws cutting through the air with a sharp swish.

Alden stepped aside with smooth, quick moves, the wind circling around him.

He put both of his wind skills to good use, turning them to his advantage.

"Having such skills in battle is useful..."

Alden found it easy to maneuver around the rabbit, striking it from different directions and giving it no chance to fight back.

He was trying his very best to face the beast head-on but making sure he was careful not to allow the beast get an advantage over him.

The (Wind control) proved useful in this case, enabling him to control the wind and boost his attack range.

Clang!

He blocked the blow with his sword and the sound of clashing rang out as the creature's hard fangs and claws met his blade.

The impact sent a shock through his arms, but he held his ground.

The beast growled as it pulled back, its eyes burning with anger.

Snap!

Ember let her arrow fly. It whistled through the air and hit the creature's back leg with a heavy thud.

The animal staggered, its legs struggling to keep up with it earlier fast pace as the arrow sank into its flesh.

Alden did not wait.

He grab the opportunity by charging forward, setting his sword aside and drawing out his twin daggers, which flashed in delightful silver light, ready to draw blood.

“Why don't you take this!” His voice ranged out as he attacked from the side and then the front, his moves was smooth and constantly hammering forward.

Just as his strike was about to successfully hit its target again, the creature's claws met his blades in a burst of sparks with the clash echoing through the forest.

Ember quickly readied another arrow, her eyes fixed on the beast. With a quiet breath, she released it, the arrow grazing the same wound as her first shot.

The creature roared with a loud, raw cracking sound that shook the trees. It thrashed wildly, its claws splashing the ground in frustration.

Alden called on his wind skill as the air surged around him.

He rushed forward, spun, and swung his blade in a smooth curve, slicing across the creature's side.

Blood sprayed out, staining the grass red.

The animal snarled and snapped its fangs, but Alden was already out of reach, his moves too quick to follow.

The creature tried to flee, dashing toward the bushes with desperate speed.

Thwip!

Ember's next arrow landed just in front of it, forcing the beast to skid to a stop and change direction.

Alden was there in an instant, his blade sweeping low to knock the creature off its feet.

It tumbled, stirring up dirt and leaves as it struggled to rise.

Its eyes were wild and its breath ragged.

The creature charged at Alden with a burst of speed, its claws aimed for his chest.

Alden ducked, twisting his body as he slashed upward.

His blade cut across the animal's chest, leaving a deep, red wound.

Ember drew her bowstring tight, her fingers confident.

Whoosh!

She released the arrow. It flew straight and true, piercing the creature's eye with a sickening crunch.

The animal froze, its body stiffening as a pained cry escaped its throat.

Seeing no chance to survive, the creature leapt into a nearby tree, its claws gripping the bark as it tried to climb to safety.

But Alden moved fast.

With a long dive, he swung his blade in a wide sweep, hitting the creature's head with a heavy thunk.

The beast shuddered, its grip on the tree weakening.

Then, with one last, soft cry, it collapsed.

Thud!

The ground trembled as the creature's body hit the earth.

It lay still, its chest rising a couple of times before going silent, confirmation that it was dead.

Alden lowered his blades, his chest heaving as he caught his breath.

Sweat dripped from his brow, yet a satisfied smile spread across his face.

Ember stepped forward, her bow still in hand, a small smile on her lips.

"We did it!" she almost screamed with excitement.

Together, they were able to form a strong duo against the beast.

[+3 point added to your agility]

[+2 added to strength]

...!

Alden grinned, wiping sweat from his brow.

He made the notification stop coming through.

"Well done, you two," Darian said with a smirk on his face.

"You were able to hold your ground and get the advantage against it."

"Congratulations, Alden, for discovering your ability and also for your well-timed attacks," Storm commented.

Alden shrugged, still grinning. "This beast was a little weaker compared to a wolf, so I guess we were lucky."

"Stop talking and pay attention to what is coming next."

Zara stepped forward as she spoke, making Alden look at her with a curious expression.

"Fighting in a dungeon, you must finish off your target as quickly as possible or else another beast will discover the disturbance," Darian explained. "The longer a fight drags on, the more danger you invite."

Howl!

Howl!

The sound of different beasts resounded in the forest, drawing close to their spot.

"Now, it seems your fight has exposed us," Darian added.

Alden nodded with understanding.

Zara's gaze remained fixed on the surrounding trees, her ears tuned to the faint rustling in the distance.

"Let's leave here quickly before we get surrounded," Darian instructed.

The group moved fast, their steps light and quick, never stopping to catch their breath for once.

As they went deeper into the forest, the sounds of chasing beasts grew nearer and louder.

Snarls and growls came from behind, and branches snapped violently, showing that their pursuers were close.

Suddenly, Zara raised her hand.

She looked into the shadows ahead.

"We've already got company waiting ahead," she whispered with cold seriousness in her.

From the bushes, a pair of glowing eyes appeared, then another pair, and finally a third.

Three creatures emerged, their fur standing on end.

It was the dangerous scor-eye wolf.
