THE WORLD NEEDS YOU
“Leave!” Delilah’s voice thundered across the chamber, sharp and commanding. The maids, who had been forced onto Prince Frederick’s bed against their will, flinched at the sound. Their faces were pale, their eyes wide with fear. They scrambled off the bed, skirts tangled, and rushed toward the door. They did not look back as they fled, the heavy door slamming shut behind them. The room was suddenly quiet, save for the distant sounds of the palace courtyard outside. The golden rays of the afternoon sun fell across Frederick’s disheveled figure, highlighting the arrogance in his grin. Frederick turned, his hair untidy. “Come, Mother,” he said with careless pride. “Let’s celebrate.” Delilah closed her eyes briefly, exhaling as though steadying herself. When she opened them, her gaze was cold and sharp. “Put on your clothes first,” she ordered. “This appearance is not fit for a prince.” Frederick sighed, rolling his eyes, but obeyed. He put on his garments, fastening them la
THE Beginning Of Katrina's Pain
The banquet hall glowed with candlelight, but the atmosphere was heavy. King Aldric sat stiffly at the head of the table, his jaw tight, his eyes narrowed. Across from him lounged King Varon Deymar, ruler of the neighboring kingdom. Varon was everything Aldric despised: loud, careless, indulgent. He laughed too easily, drank too much, and let his eyes linger far too long on the palace maids who moved nervously around the table. “Ah, such fine wine, Aldric!” Varon exclaimed, raising his goblet high. “And such fine company. Your maids are prettier than the stars. Come, girl, pour me another.” He winked at a trembling servant, who flushed and hurried to refill his cup. Aldric clenched his teeth. “He treats my hall like a tavern,” he thought bitterly. Yet he said nothing, for though he hated Varon, he feared him. Varon’s armies were vast, his influence wide. Delilah, seated gracefully beside Aldric, smiled faintly at Varon’s antics. Her eyes sparkled with amusement as she watched
EXILED PRINCE REVEALED
The crowd was shocked.“Did someone actually outdo Prince Frederick?”“I can't wait to see who that is.” Mr. Leo raised his hand again, quieting the murmurs. “First place… with a shocking 60,000 points… Lior Raz!”The arena erupted. Students stood up, shouting, disbelief written across every face. “This is a first in history.”“Impossible! There must be some kind of mistake.”Even Lior himself was shocked. He didn't know that defeating the AA level beast would give him a 30 thousand point advantage, added to the previous thirty he had.As Lior stepped forward, Ruth’s eyes widened, and then she smiled—a bright, knowing smile. “I finally found him!” she whispered to herself.Lior walked slowly up to the winner’s stand. Cameras swarmed, their lenses zooming in, projecting his face onto the giant screen for everyone to see.Prince Frederick couldn’t contain himself. “He cheated! This isn’t possible!” he shouted, his voice cracking.Miss Shawn frowned.” Are you saying we couldn't superv
SECOND PLACE? WHO'S FIRST?
Mr. Leo and Miss Severine stood frozen, their gazes locked onto the large, glowing holographic screen that hovered above the academy arena. The air around them was thick with tension. On the screen, the leaderboard pulsed with light, and at the very top, Prince Frederick’s name blazed in gold letters, his point total sitting at a commanding 25,000. With each passing second, his lead over the others seemed to stretch wider and wider.Around them, the other teachers clustered in small groups, their voices low but filled with open admiration. “Impressive control of mana output,” one instructor whispered. “His technique is flawless for his age,” another replied, nodding slowly. But then, without warning, the steady rhythm of the rankings was broken. A new name, previously buried deep in the middle of the list, began to climb at an unnatural speed—Lior Raz.At first, it was barely noticeable. Lior’s name flickered past tenth place, then surged past seventh, then fifth, as if defyin
THE SUDDEN B LEVEL BEAST
The fog was thick, curling around the dead trees like ghostly fingers. Growls echoed in the distance as the shadow beasts prowled. Students scattered in groups, weapons drawn, their watches glowing faintly as they prepared for battle. Lior stood calmly, his eyes scanning the mist. “So this is the C-level area,” he murmured. Arkanos’s voice rang in his mind, amused. “Easy prey. Let’s warm up.” A shadow beast lunged from the fog—its claws sharp, its eyes glowing red. Lior didn’t even flinch. He sidestepped, his movements fluid, and with one swift strike, the beast collapsed. His watch beeped. +100 points. Lior grinned. “Too easy.” He cracked his knuckles, his confidence rising. Another beast charged, snarling. Lior spun, his blade slicing through its neck. +100 points. “Ha! This is nothing,” he said, his grin widening. Back at the academy, Mr. Leo and another teacher, Miss Severine, stood in front of the giant screens that displayed the rankings. Numbers flickered rapi
OPENING DAY OF THE ACADEMY
It was finally the first day of school resumption. The grand courtyard of the Royal Academy was buzzing with voices, banners of every kingdom swaying in the breeze. The air was thick with ambition, rivalry, and pride. This was because students of this school came from top noble families from different continents, countries and kingdoms. There were also secret races of beings which weren't humans. It wasn't the only school in the city, but it was the most prestigious. Lior stepped forward, his eyes scanning the crowd. He felt alive—this was the place where strength would be tested, where ranks would be earned. He used his Divine eyes skill on some few people and noticed that they had very high combat abilities. “Ah, at last a place to face worthy opponents.” I am getting fired up, Arkanos commented, and lior could only imagine that if he could see Arkanos's face, there'll be a wide grin. But before Lior could take in the atmosphere fully, a sharp, mocking voice cut through
