GOD TIER SYSTEM ACTIVATES
The night the clan cast him out, the sky refused to shine. Cold rain hammered against the stone steps as Lior stood before the sealed gates of the Azurefang Clan, his clothes soaked, his breath trembling in the wind. Behind those gates were the people who had raised him, trained him, and without hesitation, discarded him like a broken tool. “By decree of the Elders,” the guard had said, voice flat, “you are stripped of your title and expelled. Leave before dawn.” No explanation. No trial. No chance to defend himself. Just exile. Lior tightened his grip on the only thing he had left: a smooth jade pendant, warm against his skin despite the freezing rain. His mother’s final gift before she passed away from the shadow disease, which was slowly taking over the world. The last piece of her he still carried."Take this Lior, and never lose it. It will help you write your destiny." Lior could still hear his mother's weak voice on her dying bed."Don't speak like that, mother
A GOD'S VESSEL
A while ago, Lior had passed out and when he awoke, the storm outside had passed. The sanctuary was silent except for the faint hum of power coursing through his veins. His body felt… different. Stronger. Lighter. Sharper. The jade pendant was gone, absorbed by his body. He pushed himself upright and caught sight of his reflection in a cracked bronze mirror leaning against the wall. "Woah!" He froze, his wide in disbelief. His face hadn’t changed dramatically, he still looked like himself, but something was undeniably different. His eyes. They glowed faintly, like embers hidden beneath ash. Not bright enough to alarm anyone, but enough to make him look… awakened. Alive in a way he had never been. “Do not be concerned,” Arkanos murmured in his mind. “Your appearance remains mortal. I merely repaired what was broken.” Lior touched his chest. The pain he once felt there was gone. He was once damaged beyond healing, now, he pulsed with vitality. “Woah, this is just lik
THE SEARCH PARTY
Lior had spent the whole night at the mines, using his Divine Eye skill to gather and combine many rare items to form unique weapons, and other gadgets. It was the era of the industrial revolution; Planes and steam engine trains were used for long distances. Hatchback vehicles and other models which had just been invented at the time, drove around in the cities, only for the rich. Short guns were bought only by the rich. Circuses, fight arenas, and movie theaters filled the towns. The military used advanced weapons, which the society couldn't afford, but there was still so much technology left to discover. Fixed phones were used for communication, but only the rich could afford mobile phones. However, the poor preferred sending letters through the post office. Lior knew this was the best time to bring out something new that could generate vast wealth for him, but he needed materials, especially those sold at auctions, which were very expensive. Good thing he had the Eye
SAYING GOODBYE
As Lior approached home, he saw a crowd gathered around, all focused on Seraph on the roof, who was about to jump. "Please don't jump, I'm sure he'll return soon for you," someone said. Seraph, in tears, replied, "I know my son; he doesn't stay out late without letting me know. What if a wild animal, or maybe the shadow plague, had gotten him? This village is the closest to the Shadow Lands." "But please, you're not sure yet, please let's wait a little longer," another villager urged. Lior yelled at the top of his voice as he approached, "Ma, please don't jump!" Seraph instantly recognized the voice. She paused and looked towards the direction it was coming from. She saw someone she didn't recognize. She wiped the tears from her eyes to see clearly, but she lost her footing and fell off the roof. Lior realized he was too slow to get to her. He watched as she fell, his heart sinking as he wondered if he would lose his only living loved one again? However he soon saw a system
LIOR ARRESTED
The next day, Lior stood at the massive city gates, a place that always seemed to hum with life and movement. He carried only a small, worn bag slung over his shoulder, the bag that held the few belongings he still possessed.Despite its light weight, it felt strangely heavy to him, as if it carried not just items but the beginning of a long, uncertain journey, a journey he hoped would lead him toward greatness. The guards stationed at the entrance were busy with their usual routines. Some were checking the bags of merchants who came in with carts full of goods, while others inspected documents or questioned travelers. Their eyes were sharp, trained to catch anything suspicious before it slipped into the city. Yet even with all this activity, something about the atmosphere felt different to Lior. The air seemed unusually bright, almost festive, as though the entire city was preparing for a celebration. He noticed noble families arriving in elegant vehicles and horse‑drawn carriage
THE KING'S COURT
The tall wooden doors of the king’s court slowly opened with a deep creaking sound. Two guards walked in, their heavy boots hitting the shiny marble floor. Between them was Lior. His heart was beating fast, almost painfully, but he forced himself to breathe slowly. He had to look calm. He had to look strong. The guards stopped in front of the throne and bowed. “Your Majesty,” one guard said, “we have brought the man you asked for.” They stepped aside and left Lior standing alone in the huge hall. Lior lifted his eyes. There, on the throne, sat King Aldric Croft. The king was a tall man with broad shoulders and hair mixed with silver. His beard was neat, and his crown, made of black iron and gold, looked heavy on his head. His eyes were cold, sharp, and unreadable. He stared at Lior like he was looking at a stranger. The palace around him was grand and beautiful. Black stone pillars rose high into the air, wrapped with golden carvings. The ceiling was painted with scen
THE PRINCE'S ENGAGEMENT TO LIOR'S EX
Lior was given a small, dimly lit room in the servants’ headquarters; a narrow stone chamber tucked deep within the eastern wing of the palace. The walls were cold, the single window barely large enough to let in a sliver of moonlight. A thin mattress lay on a wooden frame, and a rusted basin sat in the corner. This was where he would live for the next year, serving the palace day and night. Normally, palace servants were paid handsomely for their loyalty and labor, but Lior’s situation was different. Every dollar he earned would be seized immediately, stripped from his salary each month to pay off the fine of two hundred thousand dollars he still owed the court. It meant he would work tirelessly for a year without seeing a single cent. A tracking collar was put around his neck. It was a cold, metal band that made a soft humming noise. There were special symbols, called runes, inside it. The guards locked it in place with a sharp click that echoed in the room. “This colla
THE GOVERNOR'S GIFT
King Adric finished the call with the governor. He dropped the phone and the joy in his heart was so much he turned and looked at his family members, all celebrating the engagement between Prince Frederick and Rhea Smith. So he stood up, wondering who could have brought so much honor into his family. Then he raised his voice, saying he had an announcement to make. The music stopped, and everyone looked at him."I just finished talking to the governor," he said. "He told me that a member of our family healed his daughter. Who could it be? Who brought this honor to our family?Reveal yourself, and I promise to reward you beyond their wildest dreams. The governor's favor means a lot of good things for our clan, Azurefang."Everyone looked at each other, wondering who it could be, with no one owning up.The king added, "The governor said this person was the last one to enter the hall. He healed her just outside the hall by the door."Dora, a lady, spoke up, first. "I think the last per
THE REAL HEALER REVEALED
As Lior stepped forward, the crowd's gaze shifted from admiration to anger, their faces twisted in shock and disbelief. The king's eyes narrowed, his expression unreadable. "Repeat what you said, Lior Raz," he commanded, his voice firm but with a hint of curiosity.Lior stood tall, his voice clear. "I said, I was the one who healed the governor's daughter. That gift belongs to me now."The crowd erupted into gasps and whispers. Delilah, Frederick's mother, was livid. "How dare he!" she hissed. "A common servant, under punishment, has the audacity to claim such a feat?"The king raised his hand, silencing the crowd. "Lior, are you sure of what you're saying?" he asked, his tone measured.Lior nodded, unwavering. "I'm positive, Your Majesty."The governor leaned forward, his eyes locked on Lior. "If you're lying, boy, you'll regret it. Describe my daughter's condition."Lior's gaze didn't falter. "She was stung by a wild forest bee, known as the scorpion bee. The venom's been spreadin
THE PRINCE GETS THE TREATMENT HE DESERVES
The hall watched silently as Sophia walked towards Prince Frederick, her eyes locked on his, a mix of different emotions swirling in her gaze. She stopped in front of him, her voice firm. "So, you are Prince Frederick. Until today, I had high respect for you. But meeting you in person and seeing how you behave, how you lie carelessly... all I have for you now is hatred, irritation, and disgust." Prince Frederick stood there, taken aback, not knowing what to say. He felt helpless in front of Sophia. Sophia continued, her words lashing out. "Yes, I was lying at your feet, begging for your help. But you didn't even look at me. Instead, you kicked me away and called me nothing but trash." “Did he really say that?” The crowd's murmurs grew louder, their eyes fixed on the unfolding drama. "However, thankfully, you weren't the last person who entered the hall," Sophia said, a small smile on her lips. "Someone else came, someone more kind. He relieved me of my pain and made me whole
