6. Confession/Confusion

I opened my eyes slowly feeling so weak, everywhere was a bit dark. I sat upright immediately and couldn't move, my hands were both chained to something. Memory of what happened some hours ago hit me so hard and I became and fear gripped me, Wyatt really betrayed me. I trusted him so much even after he left confessed that night, I never knew all was totally fake, he was a lascivious pretender, a ruthless lier, what does he wants from me ?

Where am I ?

I thought confusingly, I couldn't even see a single thing.

I could hear some one moving beside me. I wasn't able to see brightly because of the dark room.

" Anybody here ! Who is here " I yelled but it seems only the echo of my voice could be heard.

" Kayla! Is that you? " My heart fluttered at the sound of her voice, it was Briella.

" Yes it's me ! How did you get here ?"

"I don't know either! We were looking for you Kayla ? I and Audrey went looking for you when you stayed too long, we went deep into the woods worriedly looking for you and then, the unexpected happened.someone pulled me so hard and then covered my nose and my mouth, that was all I could remember and then I found myself here . I think Audrey luckily escaped.What really happened?" Briella asked fearfully as she tried locating Kayla in the dark room they were encamped but it wasn't easy because of the chains.

" It was Wyatt! I was fooled Briella, I was carried away by love . After informing you about strolling, I met Wyatt outside too. We were the only one and we kissed and he then confessed his love for me and I did also. All of a sudden, he started saying some strange words, I couldn't even understand a thing ! I don't know what happened after and then I slept off suddenly only to wake up and found myself in this strange and dark room chained " Kayla explained as fear could be denoted in her voice.

" This is rather strange ! Why would Wyatt do a thing like this? Have we ever wronged him ?. so how are we going to get out of here"

" I don't know! My arms are hurting! Somebody help ! " I screamed with all my strength but it seems that was a waste of time. Only the Echo of my voice could be heard.

My fear increased.

" So what if they are gonna hurt us! So what if they are gonna kill me, what if we were sold to unknown person. How will my mum cope? I don't think she can take this" I cried out loudly.

" Oh Kayla please calm down! You're making me more scared, just believe in Positive things, maybe we can just escape" Briella suggested and I sighed.

" Escape! Do we even know where we are, in a dark room restricted with chains . Briella ,we are stucked" I shouted at her as tears fell .

" Stop shouting at me! I also have a mother and a sister, how would they cope without me ?it's all your fault claiming you love a guy.what did you just know about love , and now you have been kidnapped by your so called lover. How do we get out of here? you were so naive to have just trusted..." I stopped her immediately, her words were piercing into my heart like a sharp needle.

" Stop it! Just stop! Was it my fault, Briella! " I called out feeling so pained.

" Am sorry babe! I just said that out of frustration, am so sorry. Believe me Kayla, I never meant any word I said. Am sorry " Briella pleaded crying and I sighed saying nothing.

" Kayla! Am sorry , am sorry, am sorry a million times"

" Is okay ! Is okay! What of Audrey" I asked concerndly.

" I don't know ! I don't know Kayla, we need to get ou t of here but it seems impossible. " Briella concluded and I could detect she was crying again.

" Briella! Stop this, we haven't confirmed our instincts " I said but she kept weeping. That's Briella for you, always crying at the slightest thing.

Mine is worst, am damn scared right now, talking about the word KIDNAPP send shivers down my spine.

" How could Wyatt do this to me , after confessing he truly loves me, what's the meaning of those strange words he said last night.

" Oh holy Mary " I cried out as tears trickled down my face.

I can't believe I fell for the devil himself, I should have have just stayed at the camp and now am stucked but yet my heart still beats for him. Isn't this crazy?

# FLASHBACK #

Staring at the moon was the best feeling ever as it's light shone directly on us and giving the dark night a little light.

Sitting with the one you've always loved, with all your wishes coming true was like heaven expounded it bowels.

I stared at Wyatt for the uptenth time not wanting to look away from his handsome face, he is every girls dream, Calm, intelligent, handsome, mannered, just name it! Just too perfect.

His tempting lips moving from one side to the other as he narrates a short story. He has a cute lip as red like a berry, his pointed nose standing firm and lastly his long eyelashes and his captivating blue eyes. My heart beats rapidly as I fed my eyes.

After he commented on my facial expression, he directed us to sit and while away time together before going back to our tents respectively.

" And so that was how the little mermaid princess left the surface of the earth without anyone's knowledge" He ended the story and I smiled brightly at him although I wasn't listening .

" Such a nice story Wyatt" I complimented and he chuckled slightly whispering ' thank you ' .

He suddenly took me by my hands squeezing it softly and I wasn't surprised, I felt electric current all round my body.

" Kayla! I have.. Something..To tell you " he stuttered staring at me and my heart raced faster.

" Go...On" I said and my heart couldn't stop racing.

" Kayla! Am in love with you , am insanely and madly in love with you " he confessed and I looked at him shockingly, I was short of words as I stared at him caressing my hands, the feeling was too much .

" Huh! But Wyatt I..."He cut me short by placing his index Finger on my lips.

" Sincerely! I love you so much Kayla" he said and proceeded in bringing out something from his pocket. It was a bracelet , a wierd one at that.

" Kayla ! Am doing this to prove how I sincerely love you so much, it wasn't my will to betray you, I had no choice but don't you ever loose trust in me. I love you so much Kayla, may we never depart from each other, let the moon , this cold night, this day, this hour, this minute, this second be witness of how I love you so much. I will always protect you and we will pull through this" He said and I stared at him with so much happiness although some of his words got me thinking especially ' betray' I still don't get that.

He fixed the bracelet which was hard to describe, he suddenly engaged me in a deep passionate kiss. All these were too surprising to take in at once, Briella must hear of this.

" I love you too Wyatt but don't leave me. I had always loved and admired you a lot Wyatt, do you know know how captivating and handsome you are ? Am so happy right now " I said slowly and he kissed me on my forehead smiling brightly.

" I know that .Promise you would always believe and trust me "

I crossed my right hand against my chest and whisphered

" I cross my heart "

" It's getting late already "

" But am not ready to leave you now but first, what relationship do you have with Raynell? That girl is always all over you and tried seducing you at times. I thought maybe you liked her and i got hurt. Truly, I was jealous of seeing you both" I confessed picking my fingers and he laughed.

" There's nothing between us and I don't like her, you're beautiful and more perfect than her. You're just the best and different, that's why I fell so hard for you "

I blushed so hard covering my cheeks behaving like a kid.

" You look more cute while doing that, come here sweetheart "

He hugged me passionately stroking my hair slowly.
