7. The Shock

" am sorry ! I have to do this Kayla ! It was never my intention to do this but I was sent and I just have to obey. I pray we will pull through this together and overcome him Kayla. I never knew I could ever fall in love with a human and am promising to protect you till the last drop of my blood no matter how he tries to take you away from me "

I swiftly disengaged from the hug immediately not getting what he was saying.

" What do you mean ? Who is taking me away from you and you were sent by who " I rushed my words as I was getting scared already.

Luna only stared at him with his blue eyes shining attractively.

He gulped so hard and I could notice that.

" Speak!" Before I could finish speaking, I felt something penetrate into my head and it began spinning immediately, everything went blank and I passed out immediately.

Finally, I got the bun, actually I am talking about the style of my hair.

Checking myself out in the large plain mirror for the last time, I looked Okay , no mistakes.

I picked up my small hand bag and walked out of my room heading to the door , of course I was preparing to go to work.

As I turned the door knob, Kayla popped up on my memory again, why do I have this weird feeling about her. Hope she is fine?

Her line hasn't been going through which got me worried. How nothing happened to my baby girl, I miss her a lot, she is the source of my happiness. I can't afford if anything happens to her , the only fruit of my womb . I pray she is safe

I drove slowly with a song playing slowly in my car . 'Senorita'by Camila cabello. It was Kayla's best song , it made me miss her the more.

My phone rang all of a sudden and I checked the caller ID with my hopes high but it was an unknown number. I hesitated before picking up the call after I stopped driving immediately. No calls making while driving according to traffic wardens , I don't wanna be detained for disobeying so I just have to obey their fucken laws.

" Hello, is this Mrs Kim on line?" the feminine voice spoke up and I cleared my throat before answering, her voice doesn't looks familiar.

" Yes, How may I help you"

" okay ma! Am Miss Bella from Summer high school, I guess you're the mother of a student called Kayla" my heart skipped a bit.

" Yeah! Yeah! Any problem, hope she is fine ? Please is she there?I wanna talk to her? " I said feeling so anxious.

" Calm down ma! Your daughter is safe, please you're needed in the school" the lady announced and I wondered what could be the cause for the summon.

" School? Hope no problem and besides the students are on excursion"

" No problem ma! We will be expecting you ma, thanks for your time". She hunged up immediately and I sighed. I just hope everything would be fine,

I ignited my car engine and took the route leading to Kayla's school. I just pray everything is at place.

|•|Few Minutes Later|•|

Knocking on the principal's door after asking for directions from a lot of people , it's funny I hardly visit Kayla's school, just drop her off and the pick her from school.

" Come in please! " I pushed the door and met the principal on call and also a middle-aged lady, she had a worrisome look on her face.

The school was so scanty, who knows the reaason for the summon.

The principal ended the call, he doesn't looks happy, hopes everything is fine.

" Good day ma's, I guess this is Mrs Coker and Mrs Kim" the principal said gesturing at me and the middle aged woman present and we both nodded.

" Please have your seat ma! We have a very delicate issue to discuss how which involves your daughters" My heart flee at that moment.

" My daughter! Oh my gosh! What happened to her?" I asked worriedly as my heart began beating so fast.

" Sir ! I don't get you, hope Briella is safe" the other woman asked.

" Please you need to calm down ma ! " Just then the door opened revealing a young lady .

" Miss Bella! Where are the rest parents, I have just been informed that Audrey is awake " The principal announce, what he just said wasn't making any sense to me . Hope Kayla is fine!

" Sir! It was only the phone no. of Audrey's aunt that was recorded and she seems less concerned and about Wyatt, am sorry sir but none of his parents contact were found in the school book " Miss Bella explained which I guessed her to be the lady who contacted me on phone .

" Hmmm ! Okay , ma, I think we all need to head somewhere where we could explain everything about your daughter's and how we can find them" I gulped so hard , did just say how we can find them? Jeez...This is getting serious.

|• Third Person's point Of view|•|

Audrey blinked her eyes rapidly as tried to stand up, she noticed she was in an unfamiliar place .

She looked around well and noticed a fixated drip she was recieving and her bandaged hands , what the hell happened to her ! And from what she pictured, she was in an hospital.

She felt a soft hand touched her hand, it happened to be Miss Ivy, one of her teachers and boom! Like a magic. Everything that happened refreshed on her memory.

" Audrey! Audrey!Oh my God you're awake! " Miss Ivy exclaimed.

Miss ivy immediately dialled the principal's contact and the latter picked immediately. She informed him about Audrey's consciousness before hanging up.

Fear gripped Audrey as she remembered how she was been pursued by a wolf and how it flunged on her , she screamed all of a sudden.

" Audrey ! What's wrong , stop it you'll hurt yourself" Miss Ivy cried out holding Audrey who was trying to struggle out.

" It's coming after me! Let me go" Audrey shouted crying and that got miss Ivy scared . The doctors rushed in immediately and tried calming Audrey but to no avail. Immediately she was sedated and she slept off.

" She will fine, she just need to recover from a fear or shock that happened to her or it might be she witnessed something scary she hasn't gotten over from. Please calm down miss, I assure you it's just a slight issue, and please alert us once she wakes up" The doctor announced and left .

Miss Ivy sighed all of a sudden wondering what could have happened to Audrey.

" What could have happened to her, hope she knows the whereabouts of others. Oh lord this isn't happening" Miss Ivy thought after ending the call with the principal.

Audrey was found unconscious far away in the forest, the securities claimed a wild animal was after her.

" Oh I get it! She hasn't still gotten over the fear of being pursued by a wild animal" miss Ivy thought silently staring at Audrey who was sleeping peacefully.

The door bursted open revealing the Principal, Kayla and Briella's mum. Miss Ivy stood up immediately.

" I thought you said she was awake" the principal asked staring at Audrey.

" Yes sir but she was still nursing the fear of being chased by a wild animal, she almost ran out if not the doctors intervened and they had no options than to sedate her since she couldn't be controlled" Miss Ivy explained and the principal sighed.

" Principal! Where is My daughter" Kayla's Mum asked impatiently.

" Please ma! Just calm down, we will fix everything in place " The principal tried to convince them but it seems he flared them up .

" Don't tell us to calm down! " The two mother's yelled.

" Do we look like fools with all these happening now, where is my daughter" Kayla's mum screamed, she was loosing it already.

The principal kept mute staring at Miss Ivy urging her to speak up.

" Ma! Please calm down, your daughters are missing but we would find them" miss Ivy dropped the bombshell.

" What! " Both mother's exclaimed loudly and just then Audrey woke up with a cough !
