The four men were marveled that their revered leader didn’t do anything even after he was slapped very hard by Scarlett across his face.

He staggered backward, rubbing his left hand on his cheek without saying a word.

Scarlett was ready to hit him again. “What are you doing here?!” She was furious, fuming in an intense rage.

Lucas turned to his mother and gave her the kind of look that was eager for an explanation.

The leader of the group was rubbing his cheek, and as some point, he looked at his companions who were expecting him to react.

“We are here to see the Divine Healer, Scarlett. We were told that he lives here now.”

Lucas stepped forward. “Who are you?” He was still curious, and since his mother was not prepared to say the reason why she hit the man, he didn’t bother to ask.

“My name is Seth, Divine Healer, and these are my companions. We are the messengers of the Emperor of Narmia. We travelled all the way from the East to see you.”
