Fatmala sat in the control room on the top floor of Atmajaya Group’s main building, surrounded by massive screens displaying various CCTV footage from across the city. In front of her, two neatly dressed technical staff were busy typing into a facial recognition search system.

“Recheck the route from the restaurant to the highway near the city park,” Fatmala commanded, her tone cold but firm.

“Yes, Ms. Fatmala,” one of the staff quickly responded. “We’ve tagged the person believed to be Hansen in three recordings. But after that, he vanished. As if he knew how to avoid the cameras.”

Fatmala bit her lip gently. Not out of anger, but frustration. That night—after her meeting with Hansen and the commotion triggered by Bama—she hadn’t had the chance to speak with him further. And now, Hansen had disappeared without a trace, like mist fading at sunrise.

“Use the motion pattern analysis system. He couldn’t have just disappeared,” she said.

One of the screens displayed a city route, tangled

The main airport in the capital of Epora was packed that night. Bright lights shimmered among rows of luxury cars and unusually tight security. But behind the busy scene, few realized that tonight wasn’t just another arrival—it was the beginning of a hunt.At the arrivals terminal, a tall man in a long black coat stood calmly. His face was cold, and his eyes sharp like a hawk’s. In his hand, he clutched a pair of leather gloves—something he only wore when it was time to “work.”“Three minutes left. Get ready,” the man said quietly. Ramos—a name that struck fear in many within the underworld—was preparing to greet his target.Meanwhile, in the air, Hansen sat relaxed in a business class seat. His eyes were half-closed, but his mind was on high alert. The faint aura he sensed in the distance—though subtle—reminded him of someone from the past.‘Alex won’t let me land in peace, huh?’He opened his eyes and pulled out the phone from his jacket—one that Fatmala had given him earlier. She’d

Seeing Hansen lazily lounging on the sofa instead of exploring, Fatmala finally sat beside him. The scent of jasmine spread instantly, casting a seductive fragrance."Why don’t you want to look around?" Fatmala asked, glancing sideways at him.Hansen leaned his head back and gazed up at the ceiling. He paused for a moment before answering, “What for? I’ll see it all eventually. Rather than that, I’d rather look at you—so captivating.” Hansen then adjusted his posture to face her.Fatmala was taken aback, recalling what had happened at the door earlier. Damn. Is he going to—“Mala,” Hansen called her name seriously.“Yes?” Fatmala locked eyes with him, unconsciously leaning closer. Hansen's allure was overwhelming. Handsome, strong, and charismatic.Especially with his cultivation abilities, he could burn the impurities in his body and convert them into energy. That gave him a glowing, almost radiant presence.“Have you found any trace of Alex?”Damn it. What was I even thinking just n

"Call that useless grandson. If he refuses, drag him here!" Shimin shouted to his subordinate. The guard immediately bowed and turned around.Meanwhile, Hansen raised an eyebrow, curious but didn’t ask further.Fatmala noticed Hansen’s expression and quickly explained, “Grandfather has brought Candra.”Hearing that, Hansen instantly understood what was going to happen. He and Candra had previously had a disagreement over a woman—Lauren.“I don’t want to!” Candra’s voice echoed down the hallway of the Atmajaya residence as he was dragged in roughly by Reza.Hansen quickly stood up and said to Shimin, “Mr. Shimin. This really isn’t necessary. I’ve already forgiven everything. Let’s leave the past in the past.”But Shimin was a strict man. Without that trait, he wouldn’t have become such an influential figure in the Nation of Lions.“Kneel and apologize!” His voice thundered like lightning in the middle of the day, stabbing into Candra’s head.Candra stared at Hansen, full of hatred. But

Stanley stepped forward, his posture upright, and his sharp eyes fixed intently on the robed man standing in the narrow corridor. Dust still lingered in the air from the earlier explosion, and the distant sound of gunfire echoed faintly.“I don’t like to waste time,” Stanley said, drawing another knife from beneath his coat. “But you will tell me who you are… either before or after I break both your arms.”The robed man chuckled. His voice was raspy, yet it carried a piercing pressure.“Stanley… Leader of Black Mamba. I thought you stood alone,” he muttered. “Turns out you’re just another subordinate… and a foolish one.”He flicked his cloak. A wave of dark pressure spread like a shockwave, causing the corridor walls to creak ominously.Alyssa took several steps back, pressing herself against the wall.Stanley didn’t flinch. He struck first—lightning-fast, his short blades dancing through the air. The robed man dodged with an unusual technique, his body bending and twisting like liqui

  • Chapter 112: Hell’s Trail in the Free Zone

The Free Zone of Kirames was no place for the faint of heart. Narrow streets covered in faded murals and the lingering scent of chemicals were home to those who thrived in the shadows of the law. Here, con artists, assassins, and corrupt businessmen ran a world of their own.Alyssa wore a black leather jacket, her hair tucked under a cap. Rinto walked half a step behind her, while two of their bodyguards followed in a concealed formation.“The shell company is at the end of alley G-17. No signboard. Just a steel door and thermal cameras,” Rinto whispered.Alyssa nodded, her eyes scanning the surroundings. They stopped in front of the mentioned building. The walls were moss-covered, and the door looked like it belonged to an old warehouse. But Alyssa knew—places like this often held the deadliest data.“Activate the signal jammer. Don’t let them contact anyone,” she said flatly.Rinto tapped a small button on his wristwatch.Alyssa stepped forward and knocked three times—paused for a s

  • Chapter 111: A Silent Shock

Kirames City was as bustling as ever, but to Alyssa, the world felt unusually quiet. She had woken up earlier than usual—not because of a schedule, but because her mind was restless. The voice of the man in the black robe still echoed in her ears—a subtle threat delivered with a smile, like poison in a glass of wine.In the hotel room where she was staying, Alyssa stared at the tablet screen showing a graph of goods distribution over the past two months. Too many variables didn’t make sense: “missing” shipments, fictitious transactions, and contracts she never approved. She tapped the small table in front of her. “There’s someone inside the company… but who?”A knock came from the door.“Miss Alyssa, it’s Rinto,” came the voice from outside.“Come in.”Rinto entered carrying several documents, his face uneasy. He wasn’t like yesterday—this time, his eyes showed real concern.“There’s something you need to see,” he said, handing over a red folder.Alyssa opened it, and her heart skippe
