Julian's good mood immediately darkened and he responded tersely, “I don't want to talk about it.” “I respect that,” she said as she raised her hands in truce and backed away.Her purple “I am a star” shirt gaped strained over her ample chest before she turned away. Her voice held a hint of excitement as she looked from the last clue in her hand to something on the wall. “I think we found it.”Julian came forward as she pressed on the lever on the wall. True enough, the exit sign blazed at the end of the corridor and the door swung open as they approached.
Bleeding Heart
Julian looked at the time and realised they only had twenty-nine minutes left. “We might want to hurry up before we get locked in forever here,” he drawled. “I don't see you helping much,” she tossed at him. “Well you are the expert astronaut. You also got us into this, miss. It's only fair I let you lead, you know. After all, I am just a weak little man,” he said in a mock-scared voice as he reached for another clue.He saw her lips twitch before she turned to him and said, “Astrophysicist and Aerospace Engineer. Those are the right titles.”
Not Again
As they stepped into the narrow corridor beyond the door, the door clanged shut behind them with such a final note that Julian looked back uneasily. Just as he was looking back, he saw a glowing yellow write-up on the wall asking, “Do you dare to escape?” He looked at the woman trudging ahead of him like she was waltzing through the most glamorous halls in Quiset. He briefly wondered if under all that gorgeousness, the heiress was somehow unhinged and was about to involve him in some twisted game. He shrugged off his silly thoughts and was about to call her when they rounded a corner to their left.

Julian stepped out of the cab and raised his brow at the building before him.“This can't be the right place, yeah?” he wondered as he looked at the map she had sent to him.The only conversation they'd had so far.Yeah.
