Dungeon Town.

Raeshan was walking toward his store.

He had just finished breakfast. Eating good food in the morning really was the best, or so he thought as he stretched lightly.

When he got closer to his shop, he noticed a group of people standing in front of it, blocking the entrance.

His eyebrows furrowed.

“What’s going on?” he muttered.

As he stepped closer, their figures started to feel familiar.

Wait.

“Isn’t that the pretty boy who bought a manga yesterday?” Raeshan thought.

Looking again, he realized it really was him.

So he came back to buy more manga?

That made sense. The kid had clearly gained some kind of enlightenment after buying one.

Raeshan’s mood instantly lifted.

“Good heavens,” he thought. “He even brought friends.”

He almost laughed.

Seeing this, Raeshan felt genuinely happy. If he could get more loyal customers like Kai, he would not need to worry about completing the system missions at all.

With a bright smile on his face, Raeshan walked toward them.

Some time earlier, Kai, his sister Elina, and Rin had returned from the wilderness.

They did not encounter any rare herbs or monster beasts on the way back. However, they did collect some common herbs along the road, along with materials harvested from the horned hounds.

Horned hounds were low grade monster beasts, but they were quite rare and always moved in packs. Hunting them was a headache.

Because of that, their body materials were not cheap, and Elina’s party made a small profit.

Elina and her party exited the Adventurer Guild.

The Adventurer Guild was the most popular establishment in Dungeon Town, and even across the Hollow Continent. It was a public guild, far more trusted than private guilds that often exploited their adventurers.

That was why Elina and her group had joined the Adventurer Guild.

Standing in front of the guild, Elina looked at her party members, then down at the money pouch in her hand, filled with silver coins.

They were happy to earn money without having to venture deep into the dungeon.

Elina hid the money pouch and looked at Kai.

“Where is that mysterious store you were talking about?” she asked.

Kai heard his sister’s words and immediately started walking, leading the way toward the manga store.

He was happy to bring them there. After all, he had earned some money and wanted to buy volume two of Element Mage Ascension.

He was eager to find out what happened after Elean confronted the Devil General.

The manga store was located in the outer ring of Dungeon Town, an area most adventurers avoided.

Most important establishments were located in the inner ring, where resources were sold and security was strongest.

The outer ring had fewer protective measures. If a monster beast attacked, death was almost guaranteed.

That was why most adventurers avoided it.

Elina was puzzled. Why would the mysterious store her brother mentioned be located outside?

That was not a good place for business.

Why did her brother even come here?

She glanced at Kai suspiciously.

Kai pretended not to notice.

Finally, they arrived in front of the Fantasy Manga Store.

Rin had followed them out of curiosity, wanting to see what kind of store Kai was talking about. But when he led them into the outer ring, she became disappointed.

What kind of shop owner would open a store in the outer ring, where security was so low?

She was certain Kai had been scammed.

But when she saw the manga store, her eyes widened in disbelief.

The store looked luxurious compared to the surrounding broken shops. It stood out with its white cement walls and large glass front.

Glass was not rare in this world, but it was not cheap either. Using it so extravagantly was unusual.

Her eyes moved up to the signboard hanging above the entrance.

Fantasy Manga Store.

Elina was also shocked by the store’s extraordinary appearance. Excitement slowly built in her chest.

What if she could also break through by purchasing manga?

The more she thought about it, the more excited she became.

But the store was closed.

They were left dumbfounded and disappointed.

Most stores in Dungeon Town opened early in the morning, usually around five.

Yet this store was closed.

How could the store owner be so lazy?

Elina turned toward Kai, about to ask what they should do, when she felt something strange.

A mysterious aura was approaching.

They looked up and saw a man walking toward them with a bright smile on his face.

A faint, unfamiliar aura leaked from his body.

[Passive Ability Activated]

[Mysterious Aura]

Kai felt the familiar aura and immediately understood.

The store owner had returned.

He bowed and greeted him politely.

“Good morning, sir.”

Elina and Rin also bowed. They could clearly feel how extraordinary the store owner was, and neither dared to show any disrespect.

Seeing their manners, Raeshan felt pleased. In a brutal world like this, people with good manners were rare.

“Good morning. You’re here to buy manga?” Raeshan asked.

“Yes, senior,” Elina replied.

“No need to call me senior,” Raeshan said as he opened the store. “You can call me Store Owner.”

After unlocking the door, Raeshan stepped inside and gestured for them to follow.

When they entered, Elina and Rin looked around with curiosity, expecting something extraordinary.

The store looked like a bookstore, but better.

There were four rows of brand new bookshelves, each with two shelves, and a small sitting area for reading.

Elina’s eyes were drawn to one manga in particular.

On the cover was a handsome young mage holding a magic wand, gazing at a beautiful medieval city. The title was written boldly across the front.

Element Mage Accession.

As a mage herself, Elina felt an itch in her heart to read it.

In a forest near Dungeon Town, the shadow figure appeared. She removed her dark disguise. Beneath the black fabric stood a beautiful young girl. Her skin was pale and smooth, her hair pure white, and her eyes glowed with a deep orange hue. She changed into ordinary adventurer clothing, simple and unremarkable, then started walking toward Dungeon Town. She was an expert at the peak of the Mid-grade late stage, only one step away from High-grade. In a place like Dungeon Town, such strength was rare. She had a long-standing grudge against the Black Snake Guild. In the past, they had tried to rob her and even attempted to force her to become someone's mistress. From that day on, hatred had taken root between them. Killing them now meant nothing to her. What mattered was the Soul Orb. She needed a safe place to absorb its mana and break through to the next level. Her eyes hardened with determination as Dungeon Town slowly came into view, each step bringing her close

After some time, Elina opened her eyes and slowly exhaled. The faint glow around her body faded away."I'm fine now," she said as she stood up. "My mana is stable."Kai stood up at once. "How do you feel?"Elina flexed her fingers, quietly sensing the flow of mana within her body."Stronger. Much stronger. I still need real combat to adapt properly, but…" She paused, then smiled."I can fight now."Rin finally looked up from her book. "A dungeon?" she asked, her eyes bright.Elina nodded. "A safe one. Nothing too deep."Kai's heartbeat quickened.Dungeon exploration meant danger, but it also meant money, materials, and experience. Rin and Kai stared at Elina, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief."...."Elina had been stuck at the late stage of Low-grade for years. No matter how hard she trained, no matter how many times she tried, she could never break through. Everyone had expected her to advance to the early stage of Mid-grade long ago, yet the bottleneck refused to budge. But now, it was gone. She could feel it clearly. Her strength had surged, her mana flowing wider and deeper than ever before. The difference was undeniable. It felt as though she could now face a Low-grade Elite monster head-on—even one at the peak of the late stage.Slowly, Elina turned toward the store owner. Gratitude filled her eyes.Everything had started here. She stood and bowed deeply.“Thank you,” she said earnestly. “Without you, I would never have broken through.”Raeshan waved his hand lightly and shook his head.“It was your own effort and fortune.”As he spoke, a transparent window suddenly appeared before his eyes.

Now, she realized how naive she had been. She looked toward the store owner and asked with hope in her voice.“Store Owner, if I buy that magical book, will I become stronger?”Hearing the question, Raeshan was momentarily confused, but he quickly understood. There was a chance the reader might comprehend skills or experience sudden enlightenment. He looked at Elina and replied with a smile.“There is a chance you may comprehend skills or experience sudden enlightenment. But it depends on your luck.”Hearing this, Elina felt relieved. The store owner had confirmed it. That meant it worked. Her eyes sparkled. She looked toward the b
