Ben was more annoyed than he had ever been his whole life.

What could have made this guy believe he's able to enter this place, he wondered.

“If you do not leave here now, I really am going to call security on you.” he said to Marcus.

“I'm still going to stand by what I said. My father can not be wrong. The worst case scenario is that he works here.” Marcus said.

The more Ben looked at Marcus, the more irritated he got.

He did not believe Marcus's father even had the qualification to work here.

Ben decided to call the security. He was sick of the sight of Marcus.

He wanted him to remove Marcus from the area. He turned around and walked back to the gate of the palace.

“Sorry to bother you Mr Huncho,” he said, after checking the name tag on the security guard's cloth.

“But there is a beggar at the entrance claiming his father invited him here, he has been disturbing the peace in the area.”

“He likely cheated his way to get into the estate.” Ben continued.

“Looking at how he's dressed himself and the clothes he has put on, he likely deceived the people at the entrance of the estate to enter.”

Ben knew he had to be respectful to this man. Even though he got to partner with the Krafth's, he still needed to respect Huncho.

This was not only because of the way Mr Huncho was built, but also because he literally took care of the security deposit of the Krafth's.

Huncho was literally the tallest and the most muscular person Ben had ever seen.

Ben knew that anyone that ever got on the bad side of this man was in for a whole lot of trouble and pain.

Huncho stood up. He knew his employer hated things like this the most.

He decided to go and see who was causing the disturbance, and throw him out of the estate.

They both walked back outside, Ben was a step ahead of Huncho.

Marcus was back in his thoughts, zoned out.

He suddenly felt something. He looked up and was given the biggest fright of his life.

Marcus had seen really muscular people in his life, but Huncho was a first.

He was shocked to say the least. Different thoughts ran through his mind in that split second.

He thought about it and suddenly realized it was a fitting match for the Krafth's family.

Someone like this could really secure them.

The first thing Huncho noticed when he got outside was the way Marcus looked.

Though he heard everything Mr Marriott had told him, he still believed it couldn't be that bad.

He was, however, shocked. It was worse than what he was expecting in his head.

Though Marcus always tried his best to look good enough for his father, the best he could dress was still not up to par.

Huncho thought back to when last he had seen someone this shabbily dressed come looking for the Krafth's, he could not remember.

He did not believe anyone had ever done it also.

Huncho was irritated, but he did not show it. He knew he had to show a modicum of respect.

“Good afternoon.” Huncho said. “How may I help you?”

“I am here looking for my father.” Marcus said.

“He called me yesterday and sent me this address to come over today. I can show you the message if you want.”

Marcus brought out his phone. Huncho noticed it was the flip phone that was commonly seen around twelve years ago.

Marcus's phone also looked like it had gone through a lot. The phone looked just like the owner.

It looked like the phone had gone through different hands before it got to his hand.

Huncho sneered in his mind. The last vestige of respect he had for Marcus was gradually disappearing.

Just like Mr Been had said, this man was likely a cheater and beggar.

He made up his mind to throw this man out of the estate after he asked a few more questions.

“What is your name?” he said.

Marcus could tell that the look in the eye of the security man had changed.

All he could see now was mockery. He knew that this would likely not go the way he wanted it.

“My name is Marcus Krafth. I already said that before.” Marcus said stubbornly.

“You should at least take me inside to find out if I'm lying or not.”

“I can not do that.” Huncho replied. “How do I explain how someone looking like you was brought inside by me?”

Huncho was now looking over him with distaste. “I am not ready to lose my job.”

Ben was just in the back smiling. He was waiting to see how this would play out.

He already warned Marcus earlier. He was just too stubborn to listen to him. Now he wanted him to suffer.

“You keep saying your name is Marcus Krafth, but how do we know you are telling the truth?” Ben sneered.

“If you don't have any way to prove to us that you are who you say you are, you will likely suffer before you leave here today.”

Ben wanted Marcus to be beaten.

Marcus was exasperated. He knew there was no feasible way to prove himself.

He tried calling his father again, and it still gave the same response. His identification card was not with him also.

“I've tried calling my Dad but his number has not been going through since, and I'm not with any other proof.

Ben smirked, “I knew you were a liar right from the outset. Mr Huncho we both can see that this man is not who he claims he is.”

“I think it's time to throw him out.” he continued.

“Now, are you going to leave by yourself, or I should help you,” Hunch said menacingly.

Marcus was angry. These people did not even try to confirm with anybody, and just decided he was lying.

This security man that just got outside also looked like he was going to beat him if he did not leave this place.

Marcus would have fought with him, but he knew he stood no chance against this hunk of flesh.

He was about to reply when he heard the door open and he saw someone walk out.

Juliet had tried paging Huncho for a while. She needed to tell him to expect someone.

Her father had told her that her brother was coming home finally.

He had passed the test the family had set for him.

Juliet was Marcus's sister, they had not seen each other for a while.

She missed her brother so much. So, she was really excited.

Ben was shocked as he turned back to face the sound he just heard. It was Juliet Krafth. He had only heard of her name.

She was rumored to be one of the most beautiful women in the world of the rich right now.

What Ben saw, did justice to what he had heard. He saw an exquisite woman dressed and looking beyond beautiful.

He decided to introduce himself. “ Good afternoon ma, I am Benjamin Marriott. I just signed a partnership deal with the Krafth company.”

Huncho also greeted her with respect, “Miss Krafth, did you need me? You could have called for me on the pager.”

He noticed quickly that his pager was not on him. He had likely dropped it inside when he came to see what Mr Marriott talked about.

Ben and Huncho immediately noticed that she did not even spare them a glance. She walked straight up to the beggar.

“Sister?” Marcus said with disbelief apparent in his voice.

Chapter 148 Marcus looked at Belle. She was trying to hide her curiosity under her gaze but was it doing that good of a job. Marcus understood that she did not want to ask Kevin present, just in case there was something Marcus did not want him to hear. “It's alright Belle. Kevin is my lawyer and he's going to be the one representing me in my divorce case, that is happening today, and it is where I need to be first.” “How about I drop you off at work and we go on to the court and we would meet you back at the office when we are done?" Marcus asked. Deep down, he knew Belle would not choose to do this, instead she would want to follow him for support or whatever else she deemed appropriate, but she still needed to ask. “Young master, I'd like to go with you to the court, and from there we can go on to the factory when the case is over at the court,” Belle said. Marcus was right. He knew for sure this was what she would say, and he was in no mood to argue with anyon

Chapter 147 Marcus slowly drifted off to sleep, after thinking about the next day for a while. His room had a soundtrack of crashing waves that had been installed since they built the hotel. When Marcus found it some weeks ago, he had started using it, and it worked really well for him. Before, Marcus had found it quite hard to sleep off, but with the soundtrack of crashing waves sounding, he found it easy to sleep, and that was what he had started doing. Marcus slept off before he knew it. The day had not been as long as it normally was, but he needed that extra rest for tomorrow, and he was not feeling too hungry before he slept, so he just chose to go ahead to sleep. The clock in his room’s slow and consistent tick was the only reminder that time was passing really fast. The blinds in Marcus's room were so thick that it blocked off the light even during the day, not to even talk about the night. After a while, Marcus had woken up. He picked up the remote on the

Chapter 146 Marcus had just laid on his bed for a while, and had slowly started to drift off when his phone rang. He rolled his eyes in the dim lights of the room, as he moved and his shadow long and dark moved along with him. It was a mesmerizing sight for anyone who could see it. It was just that no one would have the pleasure of doing that. But that was not what was on Marcus's mind. He rolled over to the end of the bed where he had dropped the phone, picked it up and looked at the name of the person calling his phone. It was Luiz. It seemed like he had completed his task, Marcus thought. He hoped Luiz had not done too much and gotten caught. Because if he had, he would have made Dominic aware of the fact that they already knew he was a spy. The task he had given Luiz was fairly easy. He had been asked to follow Dominic from far off and not make him aware he was being followed. The key thing they needed to know was where he lived and ascertaining the presence of

Chapter 145 Marcus told them that he had a friend that was going to be staying in the hotel too. Kevin peeked from the back of Marcus and greeted the two ladies, to which both of them bowed their heads slightly. Being respectful to Marcus because of his identity also meant that they had to be respectful to his friends. Especially this kind of one that he brought to stay in the hotel with him. Mel and her partner nodded their heads. They knew what to do. So, they prepared a suite just like the one Belle was still staying in. It was the topmost grade of suite in the hotel, and only reserved for the most extremely famous people. Even if you had the money, you would not necessarily be able to get into this kind of suite in the hotel. It also had a limited amount, so it got quickly exhausted. Though Kevin was not really famous, but, since he was recommended by Marcus, the receptionists knew to give him the best type of suite they had. They promised to prepare one for h

  • Chapter 144

Chapter 144 He had never mentioned anything about his father, and his friends did not ask either. Now, Dominic was back inside his house and he could not hear any sound at all. Not from his mother or even from his sister who would reasonably be loud due to the fact that her brother had gotten back from work, even when it was this late. But nothing of the sort seemed to happen. It was just silence throughout. Luiz was however satisfied with himself. His job in following Dominic was to find out where he lived. This was what Marcus had asked him to do. He did not want to be seen as doing too much, in case he got caught. Beaming with satisfaction, and after waiting for over ten minutes, he started walking back to where he had parked his car. Luiiz was walking in places where the light was not too bright. He did not want to take a game of risk regarding people in the community. He did not want them to be suspicious since they had not seen him in their neighborhood well. T

  • Chapter 143

Chapter 143 However, it was just the paranoia. It made his behavioral pattern compulsory.Dominic could not take any chance. He still wanted to see his family. He hoped they would not be killed, and the only way for him to preserve their life was to do what was asked of him and not be caught. Immediately he was caught, he would be useless to the people that were using him and they would not allow his family to leave since they also were of no use to them. Dominic understood this, but this was still not something he could bear. Luiz had started getting quite impatient as Dominic had kept on stopping, and now this was their fifth stop, after going round this same neighborhood for the third time. He wanted to drive away or maybe even drive up to Dominic and ask to go to his house. But this was not the sensible thing to do. It would ruin the plan Marcus had made and would literally just be counterproductive. This was not something Luiz wanted to see happen. So,
