"That was surprisingly easy," Reese thought scooping the last bit of food I to his mouth. He shifted his gaze to the magazine Trey had dropped on the table by the bed, before he went to clear Reese's papers.
Reese frowned at the title at the top, and then scoffed under his breath. He placed the empty plate beside the magazine and picked it up, along with a bottle of water He ran his hand and over the black cover, the sheek shiny design, that was a blend of luxury and elegance. And the one thing he liked about Magazines were that everything on it, was either true, or a scandal like the internet, and magazines like Vanta was always right, and enough to ruin a celebrity. The one he held, was Stack, the best selling magazine that represented the Voice of the money driven world beyond regular jobs. It usually covered the boldest players in Forex, crypto... generally trade and software millionaires. From street level hustle to sky high portfolios, unfiltered, underestimated but quite popular and unstoppable. Think Forbes meets complex, both magazines focusing on high end wealth, business and financial success, and known for profiling established billionaires and powerful figures as well as everything media, especially individuals with unique talents, but Stack focuses on the future billionaires no one sees coming. Reese flipped open the book, his eyes fell on the first page, and the head line. “10M to Tokyo: The Girl Who Traded Her Way Out of Her Debt-Ridden Family” BWS, (Bella Winter) head of the Spencer Empire, started with bootleg tutorials on MetaTrader 4. Now she trains Japanese corporate raiders, qnd she’s only 19. Reese eyes widened, "She's 19, so young for that much money," he uttered, moving further down to where he saw her photograph. And he wasn't quite pleased with what he saw. Just a figure, clad in a black dress that left alot for the imagination. Hee face was also hidden, behind a veil and mask, then a face cap, leaving just her hair out. What was more annoying, the shadows and light around her didn't let him make out the colour, was it white, pink or blond, he didn't know. Yet, something told him, if he happened to see then he would easily know, because it was nearly impossible for a 19 year old 'Girl' to dress like that, as well as have such money to the point she's in a magazine. And she wasn't even born into wealth. He exhaled, choosing to go to another page, often surprised by the numbers he was seeing, then the individuals. About ten pages, included that girl, while the others mentioned Forex and the speculated rise for the week. It took him one glance and a knowing smile, to know if he followed Trey's guide, he would make about 20,000 in the week, or probably do a task given by the system to multiply what he has. However, Trey walked in a moment later, when Reese had started marking down notable points behind the magazine. He looked up from the book, seeing Trey with the signed discharge files and a few drugs, he sighed out in relief. "I'm free now, right?" Trey shook his head calmly, making his way to the table. "The doctor said something is wrong?" Reese frowned, disappointment settling almost immediately. "Which is?" "You'll have to come for check ups, till he's certain you can sleep without sedatives," Trey glared at him, "You know this is your fault right?" Reese scoffed. Of course he knew, and he wasn't stopping anytime soon. As he always reminded himself "Only those who do not want to succeed sleep for more than four hours." Forget about the brain resting, he could rest if he wanted to and still work. But he wasn't ready to sleep well any soon, until he was bagging at least a 100,000 per week. "Well..." Reese began as he got up from the bed, and peeled the hospital gown from his body like paper. "I'm not coming back here, unless there's something wrong, and I know I don't sleep well. But....I'm not stopping anytime soon." "And if I say so?" Trey challenged, not sparing him a glance since he was busy packing up everything he brought. Reese just shruggged, "I have ways to get out of doing that, effective strategies." Trey simply laughed mockingly. "It seems you became even more stupid after getting run over," he said and slung a bag over his shoulder. "Wear a shirt and do something about your hair," He concluded, walking past Reese, but not without flashing him a mocking smile. Reese reluctantly did as he said, he took a shirt folded neatly at the foot of his bed, and wore it as he exited his room. The duo walked through the halls of the hospital, mumbling nonsense, about Trey hiding what Tessa did, Reese's quick recovery and few insults because Trey blamed him heavily. Trey shamelessly exchanged numbers with a nurse at the reception as area, after Reese had signed and picked up the other drugs. He knew she was openly flirting with Trey, she was pretty no doubt, yet he expected more from Trey than to think about hooking up with a girl who knew how to use a scapula. He feared female nurses and doctors, could easily harvest your organs if they felt you weren't useful. If you have a good donatable blood, that was a jackpot. Funny enough he did, he was O+, and had a healthy blood, from what the doctors told him. Nevertheless one of the things or people he was scared of were Medical personnel. They soon arrived at Trey's car, a 4Matic AMG Line costing between $86,000 and $150,000. One always asked Trey anytime they saw him with Reese, Why would he have so much money and not help out Reese? His main reason for always hitting Reese or calling him an Idiot, because no matter how much he insisted Reese let him help, he would reject. Like Trey cared how much he spent, as long as he had money and he was happy that was all that mattered. He once offered to rent Reese an apartment, but was turned down once again. As annoying as it sounded, it made him respect Reese even more, the determination to not want to depend on anyone was interesting. Anyways, they got into the car, fastened their seatbelts on thier way to where Trey's apartment was... Coral Isle.

The system already had a task that would eventually make him go to the gym, even if he didn’t want to.And somehow, it popped up just after he decided to register in one.‘Slimy thing,’ he thought as he read through the first task. It wasn’t hard, in fact it was also what he was already doing, but then, one question he asked himself was…‘Is Maverick a top brass broker?’If he w

"I feel like I'm losing my mind."Reese thought, his gaze fixed on where the woman had been standing. He pushed his fingers into his hair and let out a sigh, believing that he must be seeing things. And that was likely due to the slight headache he was feeling. While he was lost in his thoughts, the front door opened with a creak that echoed through the massive space.Reese turned his head just enough to see Trey step inside. The light from the doorway briefly lit his face, and it was exhausted. It made Reese frown as he watched Trey sluggishly turn on the lights in the living room.He toed off his shoes, tossed his jacket onto the couch, and walked in without saying a word, or even acknowledging Reese’s presence.Reese left his spot, with a raised brow, a frown, and a hidden worry as he approached the kitchen area, where Trey was also heading. He stopped by the counter."You look like you got hit by a bus."Trey dropped his keys in the ceramic tray on the counter and gave a dry chuck

"It depends on your taste," Trey simply replied, taking a sip of his juice. He watched Reese from the corner of his eyes as he lowered his gaze and stabbed his chicken over and over again. At first, he thought Reese was just trying to pick at it, but realizing he was actually continuously doing that and was lost in thought, he frowned. He always knew Reese was like that, ever since they met. Anytime the issue of money came up, Reese would always go far deep into his thoughts without bothering to answer or even acknowledge your presence, until you were done. His gaze softened, and a feeling of regret washed over him. He wanted to do more than just assist Reese, he wanted to support and even sponsor whatever he was doing, but then, knowing Reese, he would rather work till he bled than accept anything from him. Always with the stupid excuse of, "Use that money for yourself and keep it for your future self, not spend it on someone else, especially if it's not urgent."Trey finally spoke
