As the hall fell silent, the sound of heels echoed across the marble floor. Heads turned instantly.

Martha, the manager, was arriving.

She was tall and graceful, her presence commanded respect.

She wore a neat black suit that hugged her figure perfectly, with a silver brooch shining proudly on her chest. Her hair was pulled back into a tidy bun, not a strand out of place.

John’s heart raced inside. “Woah…” he thought.

Martha was a stunning beauty goddess. Sharp cheekbones, flawless skin, and lips painted a bold red.

But her eyes… her eyes were cold, piercing, the kind that warned everyone she was not a woman to be messed with.

She walked with her assistant beside her. The assistant carried a tablet and a new payment machine, following Martha.

When Martha stopped in front of John, the entire lobby seemed to hold its breath.

She looked him up and down, her expression unreadable, just the cold stare.

John didn’t know how to react. “Uh… hi?” he said, sounding a little confused, his voice breaking the awkward silence.

Martha ignored him completely and turned to the receptionist.

Her voice was smooth and calm, but carried authority. “What was so important that you called me down here?”

The receptionist bowed slightly, nervous under her gaze. “Mr. John Valerio here insists on getting the top VIP membership. But his card declined. However, he insists there is money in it.”

Martha raised her brow and looked back at John. “Is that so?”

“Yes,” John replied firmly. “This card is filled with money beyond imagination.”

Martha narrowed her eyes and smacked her lips. “Mr. John. This isn’t just any hotel. This is Moon Plaza Hotel, a top‑class establishment. We order our ingredients from far and wide every day so they are prepared fresh.

Anything left overnight gets thrown away. That is why our services are very expensive. Not just anyone can afford them. If you are here to make a fool of yourself and waste my time, you won’t leave this hotel alive.”

At the entrance, the security guard straightened, his eyes locked on John, waiting for Martha’s signal to teach John a lesson.

But John didn’t flinch. His voice was calm, almost daring. “Swipe the card.”

Martha raised a brow, her lips curling slightly. “You’re bold. Very well.”

She gestured to her assistant, who stepped forward and handed her the new payment machine.

“The machine used by the receptionist was for smaller payments. If what you say is true, this machine shouldn’t decline your card.”

Martha slid John’s card into it.

There was a moment’s pause. The air grew heavy. Guests leaned forward, curious. The receptionist her lips nervously.

Then the machine beeped.

“Transaction successful. One hundred million received.” The screen flashed green.

Gasps echoed through the lobby. The receptionist’s jaw dropped. The bartender froze mid‑pour.

Even the security guard blinked in disbelief, his grip loosening on his taser gun.

The system’s screen appeared before John, glowing faintly, and the female voice spoke once more.

[Congratulations, you have spent a hundred million.]

John turned to Martha confidently. His voice broke through the silence, strong and commanding.

“From now on, I will take three meals a day from this hotel. Morning, afternoon, and evening. They must always be prepared on time, and in the highest quality.”

Martha’s cold stare softened into respect. She bowed her head slightly. “Forgive my earlier behavior, Mr. Valerio. And that of my staff as well. I will personally ensure your meals are prepared exactly as you request.”

[Martha’s affection points reached 50]

The system indicated.

John smiled to himself. “Suddenly the ice queen beauty feels affectionate towards me because I spent. Nice.”

He turned to Martha and nodded once. “Good.”

“Please follow me to the VIP section on the fifth floor, Sir,” Martha said as she turned and walked ahead, her perfect body moving with elegance like a goddess.

The receptionist and guard watched in awe as John followed her, now treated like royalty.

The guard sighed deeply, thanking God he didn't go through with his plan. Else he would have lost his job.

Meanwhile, Blake and Selene were dining upstairs, completely unaware of what had just happened below. They laughed over wine, mocking John’s failed attempt.

Then a waitress passed by, whispering to a waiter.

“Did you hear? A certain Mr. Valerio just bought a one hundred million VIP membership.”

The waiter’s eyes widened. “You mean it?”

“Yes. Only three times in the records has the top VIP membership of Moon Plaza Hotel been acquired. Two corporate entities and a Minister. He is the fourth person to acquire it.”

“Just who could this Mr. Valerio be?”  The waiter supported his chin, deep in thoughts.

“I don’t know. But whoever he is, he’s a big deal.”

Selene froze, her fork halfway to her mouth. She turned to Blake. “Do you think… Mr. Valerio could be John Valerio?”

Blake snorted, waving his hand dismissively. “No way. John’s trash. A poor boy who can’t even afford a hundred dollars. It must be another Valerio.”

Selene forced a laugh, but her eyes betrayed her unease.

However on the fifth floor, John sat in a private VIP room with a beautifully decorated table set in front of him. Golden plates, crystal glasses, and silk napkins were arranged with perfection.

Martha stood nearby, her eyes filled with admiration. “Thank you, sir, for choosing Moon Plaza Hotel.” She bowed slightly.

John waved his hand casually. “Don’t mention it. It is not much of a big deal, you know.”

Martha let out a low gasp in surprise, her thoughts racing. “He just spent a hundred million dollars in the blink of an eye, and he is saying it is no big deal? Just how rich can he be?”

[Martha’s affection points reached 60]

The system indicated.

John nodded slowly, thinking to himself. “She must be impressed. Just twenty points left to get to the hook‑up zone. Now’s my chance.”

Jerry’s mouth opened and closed like a fish. Sweat beaded on his wrinkled forehead. The entire Royal Drive Motors showroom had gone dead silent. Italian crab, Egyptian freshly baked honey bread. All your favorites. Please, come in.”John shook his head. “No, don’t worry about that.”Martha looked surprised. “Mr. John? • Priciest Mansion

The manager’s office was quiet. A man in his fifties sat behind a wide desk. He had gray hair, sharp eyes, and a stern face. His name plate read “Mr. Garrison, Regional Manager.”Garrison looked up from his laptop, annoyed. “Who are you? And who let you in?”Before John could answer, Gaius rushed in behind him, breathing hard. “Mr. Garrison, I’m so sorry for the disturbance. This young man walked in and demanded to buy a property. We tried to explain…”John cut him off. “They didn’t pay attention to me. Is this how the sales team at Emerald Enterprise operates? By judging clients before listening?”Garrison held up a hand. He studied John for a long moment. Then he took a deep breath and set his pen down. “Alright,” he said. “You have my attention, young man.”He folded his hands on the desk. “Which property do you wish to acquire? We have the twenty-five million dollar mansions, the fifty million…”“Don’t bother,” John said. “I’ll take the most expensive mansion this enterprise
