The glowing sign of MOON PLAZA Hotel could be seen from miles away. The hotel was ten stories tall and designed like a palace.
John Valerio paused at the entrance, his eyes wide. “All my life, I’ve only heard about how magnificent this place is. Only students from noble families are granted membership here. Now I finally get to see it for myself.” He took a deep breath as he stepped in. The marble floors were so clean they looked like mirrors. Giant chandeliers hung from the ceiling, filling the room with warm light. The air smelled rich, like perfume and fresh flowers mixed together. Unlike the small roadside spot with plastic chairs and cheap meals that John was used to, this place felt a hundred times different. In a good way. But before he could even step fully inside, the security guard at the door stared at him. The man’s eyes were narrow and cold. His hand moved close to the taser gun on his belt. He watched John closely, ready to throw him out if he made one wrong move. To the guard, John looked like a thief or a homeless man who had wandered into the wrong place. His clothes were too plain. His shoes were too worn. John ignored the guard’s expression and walked deeper into the lobby. He headed straight for the reception desk. Then he saw them. Selene. “Oh honey, you are so funny.” Her laugh was sharp, like broken glass hitting the floor. She leaned against Blake, her hand wrapped tight around his arm. Blake stood tall with a smug grin on his face. He pulled out his regular membership card and flashed it at the receptionist, proud. “Dinner for two, and make it quick!” Blake said. Selene’s eyes landed on John. Her smile slowly turned into a mean smirk. “John Valerio? How are you able to walk again after the beating you received?” She asked, surprised. But John didn't answer. “And how did you even sneak in here? Did the guards let you in?” She furrowed her brows feeling baffled. Blake chuckled, loud enough for the guests nearby to turn and stare. “Unbelievable! This place isn’t for broke students like you. What made you think you belong here? You always chase things that are way out of your league, don’t you?” John didn’t answer their insults. He kept walking until he reached the counter. He looked the receptionist in the eye. “I want your top VIP membership package.” The receptionist blinked. Then she frowned, like she had just heard a bad joke. “Sir, MOON PLAZA Hotel is not for ordinary people. Please leave before you embarrass yourself.” Selene burst out laughing again. She pointed at John. “Top membership? Are you trying to impress me by causing a scene?” Blake stepped closer, still smirking. “You think buying a card will make her run back to you? That’s pathetic.” John didn’t even glance at them. He pulled out his black card and set it on the counter. “Swipe my card.” The receptionist let out a long, annoyed sigh. “Sir, our lowest membership package is one million. The highest is one hundred million. Are you sure you can go that high?” “Yes,” John said calmly. “I want your highest membership package.” The receptionist took the card slowly. She looked at John for a moment, studying his face, then swiped it through the machine. The machine beeped. A red light flashed. Transaction failed. John gasped. His heart dropped. He was completely shocked and confused. “But… that’s not possible.” Selene laughed so hard she nearly fell over. She held her stomach. “Oh my God, John! Did you forget to check your balance? You should have looked more carefully. You would have seen the negative sign. But anyway, thanks for the comedy show.” Blake grabbed her hand and tugged her toward the dining hall. “Come on, babe. Let’s go eat. Leave him to his fantasies.” They walked away, still laughing. Their voices faded as they disappeared into the other side of the restaurant. “Sir, I suggest you leave now before security drags you out,” the receptionist said, her voice full of disgust. John stood still. He stared at the machine, then back at the receptionist. His voice was calm, but firm. “The card has money. I think your machine is faulty. Try again.” The bartender nearby leaned over the counter. He lowered his voice, trying to be helpful. “Sir, there are only two reasons this happens. One, the machine can’t process a payment this large. Or two… your card is fake.” John’s jaw tightened. His hands curled into fists at his sides. “It’s not fake.” The receptionist shrugged, not caring at all. “Either way, you’re wasting our time.” John’s voice got harder and colder. “Call the manager.” The receptionist blinked, surprised. “The manager?” “Yes,” John nodded calmly.“Call her now.” “Oh, you don’t want to do that,” the receptionist said, folding her arms. “She’s too busy for small problems like this. If you waste her time, you won’t live to regret it.” John leaned forward, his eyes locked on hers. “I’ll take my chances.” The receptionist raised her brows, almost amused by his nerve. She hesitated for a second, then picked up the phone. Her voice dropped with respect as she spoke. “Miss Martha… please we have a situation down here, concerning payment.”Latest Chapter
Maximum Affection
As they walked out, the entire staff of Royal Drive Motors bowed. Customers whispered to each other. Someone in the back clapped once, then twice, then more people joined in.And behind them, on the polished showroom floor, were two faint scuff marks where Jerry’s knees had hit the ground. The marks looked small, but everyone noticed them. No one would forget them soon.[Congratulations on face slapping Jerry.][One Elixir of Life point gained.][Congratulations on spending 40 million dollars] [Combat points will be added.]At the garage, Martha opened the driver’s door and got in. The door was heavy, solid. It closed with a quiet, thud. John walked around and sat next to her in the passenger seat. The car smelled new. Fresh leather. Clean and elegant. The seats were soft but firm. The dashboard glowed with blue light. It looked like something from the future.Martha put both hands on the steering wheel. She squeezed it once, then let out a slow breath. “It’s so nice,” she whisper
Kneel
Jerry’s mouth opened and closed like a fish. Sweat beaded on his wrinkled forehead. The entire Royal Drive Motors showroom had gone dead silent. Every salesman, every customer, every security guard… all eyes were on him.“I… I was just joking,” Jerry stammered, forcing a laugh that died in his throat. “You can’t expect a man to…”“You made a deal.” John’s voice was quiet, but it cut through the showroom like a blade. He took one slow step forward. “In front of witnesses. In front of Martha.”Martha stood beside John, arms crossed, but her eyes were wide. She’d never seen Jerry look this small. The man who used to shout at her, who cheated and called it “her fault,” was now shrinking under John’s gaze. The manager of Royal Drive cleared his throat. He’d just watched sixty million clear on his terminal. His tone shifted instantly. “Mr. Valerio, if this man is harassing you, we can have security escort him…”“No need.” John didn’t look away from Jerry. “He’s going to keep his word. Ar
Ugly Pervert
The next day, John arrived at the Moon Plaza Hotel. To his surprise, Martha stood at the doorway to welcome him. Today, instead of her usual formal clothing in a suit, she wore her flowery pink gown. This made John smile a little.“Welcome, Mr. John,” Martha said with a warm smile. “We already have your breakfast prepared in top quality and set as you wanted. Italian crab, Egyptian freshly baked honey bread. All your favorites. Please, come in.”John shook his head. “No, don’t worry about that.”Martha looked surprised. “Mr. John? Is something wrong with the menu?”“No,” John said. “You can share my breakfast with any lucky guest. Let someone else enjoy it today. I want to do something else today, and I need your help.”Martha blinked. “And what can I assist you with, Mr. John?” John looked at her. “I need a car of top quality. I’ve been thinking of the best place to go buy one, but I can’t choose. Too many choices.”Martha smiled. “Don’t worry, Mr. John. You are in luck. I know ju
Fast Growing Affection
“Joan!” Vincent said, his voice hard. “What are you doing? I told you not to talk to strangers. You’re new. You don’t know how things work here. Thieves always come around here. You have to be careful.”Joan stopped walking. “He’s not a thief, Mr. Vincent. He’s a guest. I’m just showing him the house.”With that, she moved ahead, showing other aspects of the mansion to John.Anna leaned in and whispered to Vincent. “She’s too ambitious, Vincent. She’s only been here a week and she’s already acting like she runs the place. I think she wants to take your job.”Vincent’s face got dark. He clenched his jaw. “You’re right. I won’t let that happen.” He turned and walked toward the main hall. He stopped in front of a tall glass case. Inside was a blue and white vase with gold lines. It looked very old.Vincent opened the case, took the vase out carefully, and walked back to Anna. He looked around to make sure no one else saw. Then he pushed the vase into Anna’s hands. “Hide this,” he whispe
Priciest Mansion
The manager’s office was quiet. A man in his fifties sat behind a wide desk. He had gray hair, sharp eyes, and a stern face. His name plate read “Mr. Garrison, Regional Manager.”Garrison looked up from his laptop, annoyed. “Who are you? And who let you in?”Before John could answer, Gaius rushed in behind him, breathing hard. “Mr. Garrison, I’m so sorry for the disturbance. This young man walked in and demanded to buy a property. We tried to explain…”John cut him off. “They didn’t pay attention to me. Is this how the sales team at Emerald Enterprise operates? By judging clients before listening?”Garrison held up a hand. He studied John for a long moment. Then he took a deep breath and set his pen down. “Alright,” he said. “You have my attention, young man.”He folded his hands on the desk. “Which property do you wish to acquire? We have the twenty-five million dollar mansions, the fifty million…”“Don’t bother,” John said. “I’ll take the most expensive mansion this enterprise
Seductive Manager
A group of waitresses arrived, each carrying trays filled with different meals. The smell alone was rich and inviting. It made John’s mouth water. They placed each dish carefully on the table in front of him. The plates were arranged neatly, and the food looked fresh and perfectly made.Martha stepped forward. “The food is here, Sir. Allow me to give you a taste.”She leaned over John's shoulder, her breast pressing against it.John swallowed hard as he glanced at her exposed cleavage.Martha picked up a fork, took a small piece from one of the dishes, and gently fed him.“Do you like our service, Sir?” she asked, her voice softer now.John nodded with a smile. “Yes, it’s exactly what I needed.”Martha straightened up. “Good. In that case, I’ll let you enjoy your meal.”She reached into her pocket and handed him a pink card. “Sir, this is my personal contact. If you ever need anything, call me directly.”John took the card and placed it in his pocket. “I will. And please, call me Joh
