Chapter 57. Benjamin's first kill

Benjamin hesitated for a minute before locking eyes with Jinx. She appeared dejected, lost, and without hope, which pained Benjamin. She weakly whispered his name before losing consciousness.

"Jinx don't worry, I will get you to safety"

He quickly pulled himself up, realizing that the female chiropractor was still standing in front of him. It seemed like a matter of seconds before he would meet his demise.

The beast no longer resembled its previous form; it had transformed into a creepy and terrifying monster.

Benjamin wondered how he would defend himself against such a formidable creature. He had previously thought that a water swipe could inflict damage on the female beast, but now he wasn't so certain.
