Devansh Magnus is a broke university student, a walking tragedy, and worst of all—the infamous "Leash Lover" of his department. He had spent his days chasing after Aranya Sen, worshiping the ground she walked on, doing anything to get her attention. But in the end, what did he get? She crushed him like an insect. Kicked him aside like a stray dog. And just when he thought life couldn’t get any worse—Ashen Graves nearly sent him to the afterlife. Now, standing in front of a vending machine with an empty stomach and emptier pockets, he dug around, hoping for a chump change. Nothing. Except for one single, 4ucking useless coin. He stared at it, cursing his pathetic existence. Then, out of nowhere—he just started laughing. The kind of laugh that wasn’t funny, that teetered between despair and insanity. "This is it? This is all my life amounts to? Hahaha... Fuck my life." And then—something insane happened. [Ding! Suitable Host Detected...] [Synchronizing Thoughts… The Host’s Personality Meets the Criteria for Fusion…] [Ding! Initiating Fusion…] [Ding! Fusion Complete.] [Counter-Love Wealth System Successfully Activated.] Devansh’s eyes widened as the information flooded his mind. '99 TRILLION' in wealth. More money than he could ever dream of. But there was a catch—he could only spend it on beauties. And if he successfully countered a love attack? He’d get back 10% of what he spent, plus extra rewards. For the first time in his miserable life, Devansh grinned. He had begged. He had suffered. He had been used and discarded. But not anymore. Now, he would bind those untouchable women and turn the game in his favor. He wasn’t chasing anymore. Now, they would come to him.

Chapter 1

1. The Leash Lover

"Hey... hey, give me the boost... What are you doing? I was so close to pulling the trigger!" a boy shouted in the dorm room towards his dormmate.

"Fuck... What do you mean boost you? I was fucking taken out... Damn it!" another boy shouted in frustration as he looked at his computer screen, where the words 'You are dead' were displayed.

Meanwhile, the last one present in the room sat lifelessly, staring at his phone, his expression frozen. He had just heard something shocking and heartbreaking.

"What did you say, Aranya...? I... I didn't hear it correctly...!" the boy asked in a trembling voice, his hand shaking as he held the phone to his ear.

"I said, Devansh, let's break up!" A rasping, angry voice came from the other side, making Devansh lose all color from his face.

"Wait... wait... wait... what do you mean, 'let's break up'? What did I do...? Please, tell me if I made any mistakes, I’ll correct them. Please don’t joke with me!" Devansh's words tumbled out in a stuttered rush. A tight knot formed in his stomach, and every breath felt shallow, as if he were running out of air while speaking.

"I bought you everything you ever wanted, I made lunch for you, and I ran errands for you every day. Did I anger you in any way? Please, tell me. Just... just don’t bring up breaking up." Devansh kept speaking, desperately explaining, hoping she was just joking with him.

"Huh... What happened to him?!" The two boys, who were busy playing a game, stopped upon hearing the frantic voice of their dorm mate.

"Looks like this time it won't last more than a week," the second boy whispered in a low voice.

"You mean... another breakup? How many does this make, counting this one?" the first one spoke, understanding his friend's words.

"Hmm... let's see... it should be the sixth... no... no, this is the eighth, counting the last one and this one!" the second boy said, showing his fingers as he counted.

"Really... damn it, he broke the record!" the first one said in a playful tone.

Meanwhile, before Devansh could explain himself further, the other side cut him off.

"Devansh... don't bring it up. I am breaking up with you. I didn't call you to discuss, but to tell you, so don't bother me from now on!" The sharp voice cut deep into Devansh's heart, making him swallow his words before the line went dead.

"Crash...! 4uck... Damn it...!" Devansh threw a cup onto the floor, shattering it into pieces before storming out of the room.

"Hey... you 4ucker, that was my last cup! Who's gonna pay for that?!" the first boy yelled angrily, seeing the cup in pieces.

"Hey... buddy, you think he's gonna pay for it?" the second one snickered at the first boy as he patted his shoulder.

"I think not. Serves him right, 4ucking Leash Lover," the first boy cursed, knowing he wouldn’t be getting anything for his broken cup from their third dorm mate.

"Hahaha... Leash Lover!" the second one laughed upon hearing the infamous nickname for their third dorm mate.

"Who was that?!" Someone who saw Devansh running in the hall asked his friend curiously.

"Oh... you don't know the famous 'Leash Lover'? He has been dumped at least eight times this month, I think. He's very famous in our college!" a boy grinned playfully as he explained to his friend.

"Who was he dating this time?!" another new student asked, hearing the juicy gossip.

"This time, it was Aranya Sen, a beauty from our arts class. And he wasn’t dating her, but Aranya Sen was keeping a 'Leash Lover' for her own convenience... Hahahaha!" the senior student explained as he laughed his ass off.

Meanwhile,

Devansh reached the female dorm where Aranya Sen was living and caused a scene there to meet her.

"What are you doing, Devansh? Didn’t I say not to bother me? Why can't you understand that, and why are you still causing a scene in my dorm?!" Aranya Sen came out of the dorm and spoke in an angry tone as she stood before him.

"Aranya, please forgive me if I made any mistakes. Look, I also brought you your favorite dish, 'Mocki-Cheese.' Please just forget about the breakup and don't bring it up. I will buy you the designer bag you've been eyeing at the mall last time, so can you give me a chance?" Devansh scratched his head in nervousness and offered the packed box with trembling hands. With his eyes glistening with unshed tears, he took a hesitant step forward.

The girls also came out of their rooms to watch the drama as they whispered among themselves.

"Hey... isn't he the famous 'Leash Lover'? Did Aranya get bored of him?" one girl pointed at Devansh as she spoke in a low tone.

"Haha... I heard he has been working his ass off to buy that dish for Aranya."

"What's the use of it? He still got dumped! Hahahaha!" The girls laughed as they talked behind his back.

"Hey... I know a perfect metaphor for this scene— 'She was the swan gliding over crystal waters; he was the frog croaking in the mud, yet somehow believing he'd caught her gaze.'"

"Hahahaha...!"

The girls laughed, hearing a comment that perfectly described Devansh’s situation.

"Look, Devansh, I am not angry at you, nor did you make any mistakes, but after thinking about it, I decided that we are not meant for each other," Aranya shifted her eyes slightly before replying in a calm tone, as if masking her disdain with elegance since others were also watching their interaction.

"What do you mean... we are not meant to be? How can you know that?" Devansh looked at her as if saying, 'Come up with a better excuse.'

Just when Aranya was getting flustered, trying to come up with a better excuse to chase the annoying fly away, a speeding car stopped in front of them.

"Vroooom... screech!"

"Hey... Aranya, I was looking for you!" The car window opened, and a dashing young man's face appeared. He waved at Aranya as he spoke in a familiar tone.

"Ashen Graves!" Devansh identified him immediately and shouted in hate and anger.

"Ashen... what are you doing here...?" Aranya, who had been standing beside Devansh, distanced herself from him, her expression blooming with a smile.

"Well... I came here to pick you up. Let’s go! We will be having a candlelight dinner at Marry Hotels!" The young man spoke coolly, completely ignoring Devansh and focusing only on Aranya.

"So you decided to dump me for this bastard? Don't you remember how he cheated on you last time?" Devansh pointed his shivering finger at the young master, his eyes burning with rage.
