Finally, the matriarch of the Easton family took a serious look at Daphne Easton and had her assistant bring her reading glasses.

The Easton relatives craned their necks, eager to see the contents of the contract.

They couldn't believe Daphne could have actually secured the deal. Almost everyone present had tried and failed, not even meeting the boss of Blue Horizon Real Estate.

What made Daphne so special?

Daphne, always looked down upon in the family, had never truly been treated as a relative. If she had actually managed this deal, what would happen if she caught the matriarch's eye?

Thomas Easton was the least willing to believe it. Daphne's success meant that he would have to serve her, an unimaginable disgrace.

"Daphne Easton, you just whipped up a fake contract, who would believe that? You probably haven't even met the boss of Blue Horizon," Thomas jeered.

"True, I didn't meet Blue Horizon's boss," Daphne admitted.

The West City project was fully managed by Matthew Martin, who had mentioned that the boss was too busy, a fact Daphne understood.

When Daphne said this, the relatives were agitated, glaring at her.

"Daphne Easton, you dare to deceive us with a fake contract?"

"Unbelievable, just to avoid being ousted from the Easton family, you'd stoop to this?"

"Do you think we're idiots? Presenting us with a fake contract?"

They were indignant, treating Daphne as an enemy, furious and gnashing their teeth.

Thomas Easton relaxed momentarily, looking at Daphne as if she were a fool.

"You're really desperate to avoid being kicked out of the Easton family. You, your husband, and your child, what would you do without the Easton family? But don't worry, if you're really starving, I'll spare you a meal."

Others laughed along, echoing, "Yes, we can at least offer a meal."

Daphne, far from angry, smiled and said, "The authenticity of the contract isn't for you to decide. I may not have met the boss of Blue Horizon, but the person in charge of the West City project is Matthew Martin, and it's his signature on this contract."

"I'm not foolish, nor would I treat Grandma as one. Do you think I would fabricate a contract?"

Thomas Easton's heart skipped a beat, his face pale.

Forging a contract would only anger their grandmother. Why would Daphne do such a thing?

Could it be that she really secured the deal?

"Daphne Easton, how could you succeed where we all failed...?"

Before Thomas could finish, the matriarch raised her hand.

Looking up at Daphne, she asked, "This contract, did you really sign it with Matthew Martin? Are we the sole material supplier for the West City project?"

"Grandma, I've invited Matthew Martin to our company tomorrow. Then, the truth will be clear," Daphne replied.

The matriarch smiled broadly, repeatedly praising her.

These words struck the relatives like a bell, deeply unsettling them.

Daphne's praise from the matriarch meant not only that she wouldn't be ousted from the Easton family but could even become more influential, a position they dreaded.

"Daphne Easton, I didn't expect your luck to be so good," Thomas had to admit the truth. Blue Horizon's representative was coming to the company tomorrow; even he couldn't deny the reality.

"You haven't forgotten what you said, have you?" Daphne asked.

Grinding his teeth, Thomas said, "Daphne Easton, this is just luck. Even I could have done it. Do you really expect me to serve you?"

Such humiliation was unthinkable for Thomas, the most powerful in the Easton family and the likely successor as chairman.

"Daphne Easton, don't be too arrogant, thinking a bit of luck puts you above Matthew Martin."

"Exactly, you think you're some hero. Maybe I could have done it too."

"Daphne Easton, as your elder, let's just forget this matter. It was just good luck."

Several relatives defended Thomas, infuriating Daphne with their hypocrisy. Would they have spoken up if she had failed and Thomas was driving her out of the family?

"You should do as you bet," the matriarch said softly.

At her words, the relatives went silent, unable to utter another word of protest.

Thomas Easton's face twisted in discomfort. Despite his reluctance, with grandma's word, he had no choice.

He begrudgingly brought Daphne a cup of coffee.

Thomas, head bowed, thought bitterly: "Enjoy your moment. I still hold the power in this company. There are many ways to make you pay for this humiliation."

Daphne took the coffee but didn't drink it.

Instead, she placed it on the table and said to her grandmother, "I'll prepare the documents for tomorrow's meeting with Matthew Martin."

After the meeting, Daphne and the matriarch left the conference room, but the other relatives lingered.

"Thomas, you must find a way to cut Daphne Easton down to size. We can't let her gain influence," they conspired.

"If she handles the Blue Horizon cooperation, it could affect your position."

Thomas's expression darkened. If Daphne collaborated with Blue Horizon, his position in the company would be threatened.

"Don't worry. I won't let that bitch succeed."

Daphne and Isaiah Lowell returned home.

Michael Easton and Margaret Easton sat anxiously in the living room, fearful for their family's fate.

Michael lacked the courage to attend the meeting, afraid to witness their expulsion from the Easton family firsthand.

"How did it go, Daphne?" Margaret asked nervously.

Seeing her parents' worry, Daphne smiled, "Don't worry, we won't be kicked out of the Easton family."

Michael, shocked, stood up and asked incredulously, "You... you really secured the deal?"

"You did it, Daphne?" Margaret was equally astounded.

Daphne nodded, glancing at Isaiah. Everyone thought it was her achievement, but she knew it was Isaiah who made it possible.

"Yes, it's done. The contract is signed," Daphne confirmed.

Margaret, thrilled, hugged Daphne, pushing Isaiah aside. "My dear daughter, I should have believed in you."

"Did grandma say anything, Daphne? Did Thomas serve you coffee?" Michael regretted missing the meeting, lamenting not witnessing Thomas serving Daphne.

"Grandma praised me, and Thomas did serve me coffee," Daphne replied, happy to see her parents relieved.

Daphne's happiness was shared by Isaiah.

But Margaret, seeing Isaiah's smile, snapped, "What are you laughing at? This is Daphne's accomplishment, not yours."

Daphne started to defend Isaiah but saw him shake his head, sighing.

"Now you can rest easy. No one can drive us out of the Easton family."

"I’m relieved. I never thought my daughter could be so capable. I'm so happy."

The family shared a joyful moment, but Isaiah was left out, silently heading to the kitchen.

That night, Thomas Easton and his father visited the Easton family villa.

Thomas was determined not to let Daphne turn the tables and aimed to curb her growing influence.

Is there a problem?""Mom, you need to think this through. Daphne is, after all, a woman. Don't beat around the bush with me.""Grandma, Isaiah Lowell may have married into our family, but at the end of the day, he's an outsider. And for three whole years, that useless man has achieved nothing. If Daphne gains control, aren't you afraid our family's assets will end up in the hands of an outsider?" Thomas argued."Daphne has no real affection for that waste, Isaiah. If not for our family's reputation, I would've had them
