A strange looking young man was seated on a throne made entirely out of skulls—countless skulls which were without doubt procured from different monsters and humans.
His skin was deathly pale, with eyes riddled by dark circles. His pupil were a deep shade of green while his iris were pitch black. His hair was onyx coloured which complemented nicely with his ghastly pale skin, alongside his mouth which looked like it had been forcibly torn at the sides by a blade as he had lines that extended all the way to his cheekbone. Although it was stitched neatly, he looked too eerie to be human. He was currently within a dark throne room adorned by several statues of monstrous giants holding enormous blades and war hammers. There was very little moonlight seeping into the throne room and the aura currently emanating from him was extremely vile. "M..My lord.." A trembling human managed to utter, his face was pale and filled with fear. " W..W..We were able... to get rid of the crescent wolf pack as well as the scion of the wolf race and the blood witch Aurelia.. But.. But.. we couldn't... We.. couldn't g.. get the boy." For a short while an ominous silence befell the eerie throne room, then the strange young man seated on the throne of skulls, exhaled. A sound which only seemed to further enhance the eerie and ominous atmosphere. "You have less than ten seconds to start explaining the reason for your failure after I had provided you with adequate resources and equipment necessary to carry out the mission, clearly you knew the boy was the priority." The trembling human stuttered, his gaze down as he couldn't dare meet the eyes of his lord. "He..He.. ventured i.. into the cursed forest... The men w..who chased after him.. all perished, I s.. suspect that.. the.. child.. perished..as wel..." Blood splattered on the floor of the dark throne room as the head of the human exploded from his body before he could utter another word. The strange young man looked down at the headless body of the human with disgust and a look akin to scorn. "Fool!" He stood up from his skull throne and walked across the hall of his throne room.. his steps were unhurried and graceful, his presence itself was like a venomous snake stalking close by as if it was looking for a prey to devour. Leaving the chilling confines of his throne room, he took a walk around his castle. From the upper levels to the lower levels of the castle there were no servants within them, no presence of life, only eerie statues of both monsters, humanoid creatures, Dulhan.. gargoyle, even members of different races, elves, werewolves, dragons, sirens and as long as the list goes with the exception of a few races were present in the castle, but there was no sign of life anywhere at least on the upper levels of the castle. Down at the very last floor, behind a huge iron door was a teenage girl, shackled by multiple chains. Her appearance was disheveled and her clothes were ragged but her alabaster skin was flawless, her silver hair had dark strands along the edges as well as the base of her hair, her bright green eyes were bleak and lifeless as she stared at the strange man with an ominous aura. The young man smiled, a mischievous glint in his eyes, perfectly reflecting the image of the young girl. He lingered for a few moments as he stared at the girl, she had no fear in her — no rather it'd be more accurate to say that she had no will to live anymore.. The pale man grinned making the room temperature drop by a few degrees. "My dear Irene, I bring good news, well depending on how you see it, it can also be bad news to you as well." He lingered for a moment, the chained girl didn't react, no movements, no expressions, she remained perfectly unmoving even as the pale man spoke. "Well where do I start... Ah yes.. your parents are dead, you know the ones you loathe so much for not coming to your aid and leaving you for dead.." As soon as he mentioned this, the chained girl raised her head to get a better look at the pale man, a look of surprise marred her delicate face. The pale man chuckled then continued. "And that's not all my dear specimen, not only did they leave you for dead, they also spawned another child to replace you..." He walked closer, his grin widened and his voice grew more a tad bit deeper than its usual tone. "You weren't needed, so they didn't look for you, to them you were just something that could be replaced, and then they gave up their life for your younger sibling, something they could never have done for you.." The girl's facial expression had turned into one of hate, her teary eyes were full of murderous intent and her tightly clenched fists were bleeding. "Now.. Irene, why don't you pay a visit to your dear sweet brother, the one who was chosen over you, after all it's only fair if you destroy the one person your parents loved so dearly, much so that they had to give up their life for him." "Name.. what is his name!." her voice came across as a hoarse whisper but the pale man clearly heard it. He gazed down at her with a subtle smile. "Nox.. his name is Nox Ráu Vlad."

A deity's whiff
Ivonriel continent … Nelgeorgia city outskirts. Aiden tightened his grip on the hilt of his longsword. Before him was Loki, grinning like a mischievous child while taunting Cassie, who seemed ready to attack her at a moment’s notice. A flicker of movement in Aiden’s peripheral vision made his eyes narrow. Northeast of the outskirts, where the vessel of the moon goddess and the monarch of the witches clashed, an oppressive weight descended. It lasted nothing more than a second, yet every nerve in his body screamed danger. 'That Aura... Did the moon goddess descend using her vessel? Or did the vessel use transcendence? She seemed like a cautious person, using transcendence would, without a doubt inform the monarchs' of her presence which would get her killed, either way... This situation is quite bothersome.' Well of course it was, Aiden wasn't one who deemed it necessary to battle and waste his strength on simple conflicts, if it was a full blown war, then he would have been able

“How amusing, mortal.”The deity’s voice rolled across the ruined battlefield as a melodious chuckle, her eyes were as pale as the moonlight whilst her hair shimmered, bathed in the glow of the moon. There was a subtle gleam within her eyes as she stared at the eccentric wizard in genuine interest.Similarly, Eren let his gaze linger on her, however his expression wasn’t one of interest but mild annoyance. While the strange tension between them remained, Mervos slithered down her arm, towards the unconscious child who was still within the grasp of the eccentric wizard. Its movements were rather reserved as it moved in an even pace, writhing up Eren’s arm while it wriggled towards Nox.As it approached Nox, it flinched slightly letting out an eerie hiss.It hesitated for a moment or two before sinking its fangs into the neck of the child.Eren watched this unfold with an aloof expression, he appeared calm but his gray eyes flickered ever so often as black veins became visible beneath N

“Kill him, you say?” Cassie chimed in abruptly, exhaling a plume of smoke as she walked over to Aiden. Her gaze brushed past Gregor for the briefest second before locking onto Aiden.“It’s unlike you to listen to the ramblings of a filthy vessel. Is something the matter, Aiden?” She questioned in an aloof tone. Aiden lingered for a moment; his brows twitched, an action which didn’t go unnoticed by Cassie. She drew in a slow drag of her cigarette, causing the embers to flare, then puffed softly, releasing a faint sigh of smoke “Well, in any case, wrap it up; we’ve got company.” Her eyes narrowed slightly, and her crimson iris shimmered with killing intent.“Bout time you stepped out of your hiding spot, no?” For a few seconds, there was no response or a semblance of noise; rather, the atmosphere became eerily quiet and frigid. The rustling of leaves slowed until it came to a stop and then…Crack! The sound cleaved through the silence.Like glass shattering, the space that was once
The one who dwells in death
"Kuhahahaha!!!" Arkanol laughed wildly, his body trembling as he stared at Cassie with a crazed grin. "How's that? You thought you could protect that accursed child from us? How pathetic of you —" A thin streak ran across the gold dragon's neck halting his speech as Cassie turned towards him. The world suddenly felt distorted, then it spun around and a wave of searing torment followed instantly, assaulting the senses of the dragon. Blood splattered in the air followed by a loud thud which reverberated across the deserted battlefield. His head which was previously attached to his body was instantly separated from his neck before he could even realize it. 'Wha... What just happened? That attack, I didn't see it, was our information wrong? Did we underestimate the strength of the lesser denizens... No, at this rate we might lose, I have to warn the... the...' The gold dragon’s mind was suffused with a myriad of thoughts, however the last thing Arkanol saw was the wrathful gaze of
Death's envoy
"Shadow steps." "Space dance." The tenebrous spawn and the space deity's marionette moved across the desolate land. Their bodies, but blurry silhouettes as they flickered in and out, appearing in various locations almost at the same time. Only the rhythmic cadence of their punches could be heard, while the desolate landscape bore witness to their destructive battle. It had only been a minute since they started tearing each other apart but the battlefield was littered with countless craters, cracks snaked out of them, extending even as far as the town where some townsfolk cowered in fear. None of them dared to venture into the desolate landscape, they didn't need to get close to know that a battle that could destroy the entire Nelgeorgia city was taking place Viktor and Nox were engaged in a ghastly battle, with the former inflicting wounds on the tenebrous spawn faster than he could heal. While the latter was carving grotesque wounds on the space god's marionette with his cla

*Cough!* Blood splattered on the muddy floors below, washed away by the blackened rain as soon as it was spilled. Viktor remained on his kneels, glaring at Nox with untamed fury. His body trembled violently while his hands clenched into fists. He felt naked. It was a first. Without the presence of his god he felt like a person who'd been stripped bare of his clothes.. Only in this case he was stripped bare of his connection with his god. Nox slowly walked around him, stopping where Viktor's shadow was vast and deeper. He bent down and drove his hand into the shadows, only pulling out a few seconds later with one of his dual daggers. It was the dagger he'd dropped into Viktor's shadow when the space god's marionette had brutally gutted him, and the only reason he was able to sever the connection Viktor had with the space god. As soon as Nox retrieved the dagger, something strange happened. Viktor's shadow, which was faint and almost non-existent, crept up his wrist bef
