Everyone turned to look at Kale.

" No way. He is bluffing."

" And what if he isn't? What if he is going to really do it?"

" He gave him the million dollars didn't he?" Another voice said.

Most of the kids began to take their words back while both the Dean and Mr Felix couldn't help but stare at Kael.

" I am going to pay your three million just to manage the new factory I am just going to be buying. I need workers by the way. You can be my first employee." Kael said with a smile plastered across his face.

For a brief moment, Jason was taken back.

Kael could see the look in his eyes. The look of uncertainty was visible seen. " Do you honestly think you can bully your way through school? That no one is going to rise up to the challenge? FYI I am going to make you pay for everything."

At that moment, Kael heard another system chime.

[ Ding! ]

[ System voice; Upgrading would be done in a minute. You have successfully boosted your moral. Fight off injustice and offer a job to Mr Felix. ]

[ System voice ; With every great power comes a great responsibility. The system is going to have rules you must adhere to strictly.]

Kael gulped down the thick saliva at the back of his throat. His face went a little pale but it was not from what was happening at the moment but what the system had said.

" Mr Kael, are you sure about all of this?" Mr Felix asked and the whole attention was fixed on Kael yet again.

Cameras were shoved in his face and phones were put up to capture the moment.

" Did you get that?"

" I did. Now he can not even wiggle his way out of this one if he made the promises."

" Can he actually do it?"

Thomas stood still wondering what was really going on and how Kael was able to come up with such amount of money. He rubbed his head slightly as blood trickle down from his cut.

" I am damn serious about it and I will be drawing a contract before the week runs out. I wil get it across to you." Kael said finally.

" I am honoured to work with you,Mr Kale." Mr Felix said shaking hands with Kael.

It was funny to some of the students and each of them couldn't wait to see how it was going to turn out to be.

" See you around, sir." Kael said with a satisfactory smile on his face. This was the first time he was going to be standing up to Jason and it felt damn good.

Everyone looked at Mr Felix as he grabbed Thomas by the hand and walked off the premises.

All gazes were now fixed on Kael who was enjoying every bit of the attention he was getting but then his mind went back to the system message and the thought of what th rules might be actually scares him.

He was not sure if it was an upgrade messages or the task that comes along with it.

" So,boss. Where is your company?" Jason jested and all the students burst into series of laughter.

Kael looked at his phone again and to his surprise, something popped up.

His boss was offering the factory for sale. A wide smile was plastered on his lips as he looked at the price. He was still having six million dollars left after gifting Mr Felix a million dollars.

" Why are you in an hurry Jason? Are you scared you are beginning to lose your touch?" Kael snickered and the laughter die down a bit.

Everyone was surprised to see the new side of Kael. They weren't sure if he was bluffing or if he meant everything he was saying.

" What? Are you thinking we are now on the same level?" Jason's gaze locked on Kael.

[ Ding! ]

Kael's gaze was now fixed on the holographic message in front of him.

[ System message; Bonus time. You are free to spend the six million dollars before the end of the day. Do that and you will be automatically upgraded to silver level.]

Kael couldn't believe it. It was more like the system was helping him. Giving him everything he needed to take down his adversaries.

" Why are you in an hurry? I doubt if your father let you handle any of his office works. I heard he was in need of a new manager. Bet he don't think of you, did he?" Kael made a mockery of Jason with a wide grin on his face.

[ Student laughed ]

" Enough you both!" The Dean shouted at the both of them adjusting his glasses.

" Enough? You had supported him all this time. Is it because of the money?" Kael said outloud. " Well, news flash, I am ready to give more."

Another stunning shock hit the students like a wave.

" Did he just say that?"

" He is not bluffing."

" And what if he is just trying to save face?"

The Dean looked at Kael. "Are you serious?" he asked with a shaky voice.

" Oh my god! Are you seriously asking him that? Look at him!" Jason snapped brushing his hair backwards.

His emerald eyes fixed on Kael who was dripping with confidence. " Do you think someone who cannot even afford a proper shoe and cloth can give you five hundred dollars?"

Kael's eye lit up with a smile. " Five hundred? Is that it?"

" Yes. You are going to be solely in charge if you can pay more." The Dean said staring at Kael.

" Yeah, let him send the money first instead of saying gibberish." Jason said laughing but to his surprise, Kael brought out his phone.

" Can I have the school account details?" he said dipping his hands into his pocket.

The air was filled with tension. Students talking in whispers and of course some of the educators that had taken interest in what was going on were also wondering how a nobody could suddenly have what it takes to go after Jason who was untouchable in the campus.

" Done. I just set you seven hundred thousand dollars." Kael said confidently.

Jaosn's face went pale. He rushed towards the Dean's side and snatched his phone from his hands. His eyes nearly fell out of their sockets when he saw the figures.

" Now who is crying?" Kael said laughing as he walked out. " I am going to be back and you had better make my seat ready." he said finally before leaving and heading towards the factory.

The hallways echoed with his footsteps as most of the students began to tweet about what just happened.

Kael's leg nearly caved when he got outside. His breathing was hard and shallow. He had just done the impossible.

Challenge the almighty Jason. He knew he had just declared war and the only help he has got was the system.

He didn't know the system rules yet and it scares him.

The journey to the factory was fast.

All head turned as he walked in. " What is he doing here?"

" Why is he back?"

" Didn't the boss tell him not to show himself here?"

Jeremiah who was Kael's friend looked at him and pretended he didn't see him. He has also partaked in beating the crap out of him.

Kael said nothing but simply walked into the big and well furnished room of his boss.

The man looked up from his seat, and anger expression flashed across his face. " And what the hell are you doing here? Didn't I make myself clear? I don't want you here,Kael!" he barked.

" Actually, I am here to buy the company. You want to have it sold right?" Kael looked at him and at down without being told too. " I saw the price and I am ready to pay it."

The man looked at Kael and for a moment he said nothing. " Oh you are serious?" he finally asked when he saw the look Kael had on.

" Do you want cash or transfer?"

" Wait! Did you rob a bank because if I so much see a new about it then I am calling the cops."

" Why don't you go ahead. Make a mockery of yourself." Kael said laughing. " Are you taking the deal or not?"

Kael's boss scratched his head looking at him from the corner of his eyes. " I am not selling for two million dollars. If you can pay me two point five million dollars then we are good to go."

Kael laughed gently as he looked at his phone. Another holographic message appeared in front of him and a count down begin.

He doesnt need to be told why. "I am going to give you five million dollars to disappear from here. Are we good?"

The man's jaw dropped at the amount Kael was buying the company. He immediately brought out the papers and have him signed even.

Kael transferred the money and grabbed the paper in front of him. " I want everyone gone before I am back. I won't be needing your workers or you. I need a set of new ones and here.." Kael brought out some old dollar note from his pocket.

" Get yourself a nice shave." he said walking out of the office with the man looking at him weirdly.

He was once begging for his salary and now he was giving him six million dollars.

It was absurd.

The beeping stopoed as Kael got into the hallway.

[ Ding! ]

[ System message; You have successfully done the first assignment. You will be upgraded in a bit and rules and regulations will be sent. Note ; All rules must be strictly followed.]

Kael's heart thumped as he anticipated what was going on pop on next.

Kael's name was on the lips of all the students, including some of the educators who had seen the whole show go down. Some said he was a freak, while the rest wanted to know how he did it. "He must be on drugs." "Are you sure? Because the last time I checked, no drug could ever do that shit!" "Then what? Are you saying he is on some kind of drug?" "No! You idiots. What if he's into magic?" One of the students burst into laughter. "You mean like Aladdin and the genie?" he said, adjusting his spectacles. "You, my friend, have been watching too much Disneyland. Don't you think you are too old for that?" "Listen, you are not thinking the way I am thinking. Kael was nobody. I searched for his name on Google, and trust me, nothing came out. No connection and definitely not family ties. Who the hell is he? But then seeing what I saw today, I can only come to one conclusion. He is using." "Magic." The petite guy said it again, and they all burst into laughter. "You better get your ac

For a moment, it seemed like he might black out right there on the pitch. The coach rushed toward him, blowing his whistle so loud it pierced the forming crowd.“Stop! Everybody stop!”Students swarmed the sidelines, some with phones already recording, others too stunned to move. The whispers turned into roars of speculation, and Kael could hear every word even as he tried to steady his breathing.“Jordan finished him!”“He’s done for. I doubt he would ever be able to play football ever again, maybe forever.”“Serves him right for thinking he could compete.”" Who does he think he is?" Through the blur, Jordan stood back as he basked in joy. He stood a few feet away, chest heaving, but there was no guilt on his face. No fear and no remorse for what he had done. It was replaced with something everyone saw. Pride. . Like he had accomplished exactly what he came here to do.“Take him off the field,

He rested back into his sit and looked at her face. " Tell me one thing." he said slowly tapping his fingers on the polished table. " Look around you and tell me what you see." Maya's lips pouted, she definetly wasn't expecting Kael to be a strong opponent. " What do you mean?" She asked crossing her arms and slightly resting back on her chair. " When you look around you, the system, the educators even the students. What do you see?" Maya shrugged, " A school. A learning centre." " No. You are wrong. You a

And Kael was not going to be attracted to her. He was going to make her want him. Beg him for every touch and every kiss. As Kael sat down by Maya, the cafeteria went silent. But instead, Kael said nothing except for his cutlery banging the plate each time he tried to pick up his steak meat. [ AFTER A WHILE ]Maya looked at him. "You do know they are waiting for us to say something." Kael dropped the fork and stared at Maya; he grabbed the white napkin and cleaned his mouth. The air grew stiff, and the cafeteria went silent like everyone was waiting for a bomb to go off. Phones were still out, cameras flashing, recording every movement. Jason stood tall, his grin widening as if he had just trapped a rat.Kael tilted his head slightly, his lips twitching into a half-smile. “Really? Since when do chairs come with ownership tags, Jason?”Jason’s laughter echoed across the cafeteria. “Since I said so. That seat is mine, and everyone knows it.” He stepped closer, lowering his voice but making sure everyone could hear. “You’re not sitting next to Maya. Not today, not ever. Got it?”Gasps rippled through the students. Some whispered Jason’s words under their breath, as if repeating them gave the threat more weight." Do you think Kael is going to listen to him?" " He is scared o
