Gavin was furious with the hospital's request that he fill out a police report, and he began yelling at the nurse, asking her if she thought he was the one who harmed Scarlet or something.

The nurse was perplexed by the shift in his reaction because he had been cold and was now hot, and all of his nerves were visible.

She recognized that he was acting out of stress and trauma from what he had just witnessed, and she attempted to calm him down. After some yelling, he calmed down, and the nurse explained.
