Gavin was set free from the cell and allowed to go. He was about going outside when he heard the high pitched voice of a woman calling on him."Hey, wait up. Just wait for me outside. I'm coming." She flicked her ginger red hair, and continued the conversation and scolding she was having and or giving to the lieutenant.Gavin had no choice than to wait. She was his savior after all. He stood outside, laid his body on a wall and watch the stars dotting the night sky. For some reason he wished to see a shooting star, although he knew that the chances of getting to see that was slim. She came outside of the station, spotted him laying on the wall and called out again. "Hey. How are you doing?" "I think it is quite obvious how I am doing." His reaction was calm. She was visibly blushing just looking at him."Okay," she said to him, looking for words to say as well. He noticed that she was more shy than she was back then in the salon."So thank you for helping me out, I really appreciate
In the Stallion family mansion, there was a gathering of people, a meeting that involved everyone that had close connections to the family—everyone except Meghan and her husband, whose name if mentioned would all but only draw snares from everybody else seated around the table. A glass crystaline table with golden colored edges. On it was James, Harry, Sophie, and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Stallion."What on earth is going on?" Mr. Stallion asked. His voice was hoarse and sounded unsettlingly like he was someone scrapping a rough metal with another rough metal. Everybody else turned and gazed at him because it was usual practice for him to ask a question simply for the sake of causing an effect, then delve in later to explain what exactly he was trying to say."I thought we made an agreement, James boy," he began. "An agreement that we are going to force Meghan to live her good for nothing husband, which is why we told her that it was either she got an investment deal from wherever or
Megan woke up in the morning to see a figure coming into the bedroom. She jumped out of bed with her heart racing, running to the walls, and found with her hands the switch of the light bulbs. She turned the switch on, only to find out that it was just Gavin."What the hell are you doing?"She tried to regulate her breathing, once she could see his face clearly without the shrouding of the early morning darkness."What? Gavin? Why on earth would you do that? Why did you not tell me you were the one? You almost made my heart jump out of my chest."Gavin did not say a word to her. His face looked stressed if there was one thing she noticed. He always looked stress, but his face at the moment was bothering on a totally different other level. She had totally forgotten everything that happened the day before. She became overcome with shock as the memories flooded her sleepy head."Gavin, I thought you were behind bars. What happened? How did you manage to get out at all? Did you recieve
Gavin was still asleep when Meghan received a call from her father. She was taking tea when the call came in. The phone buzzed and she took a look at it, just to see her father's name floating on the screen. The tea she had in her mouth nearly spilled out of it, the cup almost fell and predictively broke into many other time pieces. She was never expecting him to make a call to her. It had been forever since he last called. Ever since she decided to marry Gavin and bring shame to the family, he had made his calls as rare as a blue moon. Before she picked the call she even did a special preparation and rehearsal. His cold voice came breezing through once she picked the call. "Hello daughter, how are you?" "Uhm, I am—""Don't answer that. From your voice I can already tell that you are not exactly dead, and living with such an imbecile of a man as most certainly not killed you."She now knew absolutely nothing to say to him."Anyway, I want to see you in the mansion today. You bett
Gavin woke up to an empty house, and as well, a beeping phone, ringing at the edge of the bed."I am up, I am up," he said, getting up on his feet and reaching out his hands for the phone. He picked it up and saw that it was Thomas calling. What a pleasant surprise, he thought to himself. He then looked around the room to see if Meghan was around somehow. He could not risk her finding out about his relations with Thomas, the president of the Morano City Bank. Even though he had teased her about it before, he was still no less cautious."Well this is something we don't see every day," Gavin said to the phone. "You calling me always means good news, Thomas.""Ah, now that sounds like something your grandfather would have said after al,l" said Thomas, chuckling slightly."So I know you did not call me for nothing," said Gavin. "Tell me, the preparations for the event I told you of, is everything set? I would like to know about that. I assume that must be the main reason you are calling
Gavin did not give her a reply after she reminded him of her warning. She also did not expect any replies, and thus Gavin went away to a separate room. She assumed that he wanted to be alone for sometime. She did not intend to stop him as she knew that he was well still angry at her for what she did to him, or perhaps, did not do in the Cell. After a long time he did not come out of the room and she immediately got seized with curiousity. "Gavin what is going on?" She asked, taking a step towards the room to satisfy her curiosity. He gave her no reply. She thought he was sulking because of what she just told him and rolled her eyes. When she saw that he was not coming, she opened the door to see him wearing one of the clothes she had picked from the clothing shop. She grew in suspicion once again."Gavin, what are you doing?" She asked, all ready to explode. "Don't tell me you are dressing up to go out after just having that call. Who are you going to meet?""No one, Meghan. Have you
It was night again. But this time the stars were not the only things that glittered. In the city center, at the largest event center of the city, a place called the Arena Of The Stars and deserved the name in every measure one could mention, there was a gathering of every mover and shaker that the city was able to boast of. Its parking lot was filled with exotic cars, all of them as beautiful as the other. From the cars glamorous people poured out in various directions. The arena was dome shaped and was adorned with brilliant lights. In the middle, just above the entrance of the dome was a huge television screen where everyone could see what exactly was going on, where ever the cameras chose to focus. From one of the cars, a Lamborghini, James and Harry came out. With them was Sophie. She wore a black dress, her lips were coated in black lip gloss that seemed to glitter when the lights came upon it. And the lights did come. Tons of light from numerous flashing cameras wanting to see t
The Stallions stared in a combination of shock and admiration of what they were looking at. Meghan stepped out in her purple dress, her hair and nails equally as suave looking as her dress. Her eyes were glittery with happiness, something totally different from what they all had expected she should have been like.Gavin walked up as well to them. He wore a blue suit with a black tie and white shirt inside. On the chest pocket there was purple flower. It was hard for the Stallion to admit it, but the both of them looked terribly good. So good that Sophie felt jealous. The couple held hands."Well, it is not even that much of an achievement to have gotten a car as this." James threw his face away as he said that, certainly jealous of the couple that stood before him, wishing his hands were in place of Justin, who held the hand of Meghan."Well, look what we have here, Sophie," said Harry. Your joke was not just a joke. It was reality. How did this happen? I seriously would like to know
