"And as you can see, Paltio, that fool of a brother, abandoned me. So I’ve already gotten rid of him," Tok said with a cold, arrogant smile, his voice dripping with disdain.

But Paltio looked at him incredulously. "Surely he tried to find you," he replied, attempting to keep his tone steady.

"I don’t care! I’ve already disposed of that useless waste."

"And how can you be so sure about that?" Mok asked, suddenly appearing on the scene.

Paltio raised his gaze, his eyes lighting up at the sight of his butler standing before him. Though his suit was somewhat dirty and there were signs of wounds on his body, he still radiated determination.

"How did you survive the Agamenonte? You’ve always been such a weakling," Tok snapped, irritated by the interruption. His tone was mocking, but there was a flicker of anger in his eyes.

Mok met his brother’s gaze without hesitation. "I can manage just fine, brother. Although everything you told Paltio is half-truths. I didn’t want to tell anyone about m

"Nooo…! Master!" Mok shouted in desperation, struggling to rise as he clutched the wound his brother had inflicted. His voice was heavy with anguish, and the pain made him stagger."What have you done, Tok?" Mok demanded furiously, glaring at his brother with restrained hatred."Well, I guess Lord Urugas will scold me if your little friend died," Tok replied indifferently, though a flicker of mockery shone in his eyes. "Maybe I overdid it a bit.""Calm down, Mok, relax," Golden said within Mok’s mind. "Paltio is fine."From the dust and smoke emerged a glowing sphere that floated calmly. It was Paltio, along with the others, protected by a barrier that cushioned their fall. They had escaped unscathed thanks to Sacaram's power."Huh, that was close," Tok muttered sarcastically. "Well, it seems your princeling has quite luck. He’s got more lives than a cat.""We’re okay, Mok! Don’t worry!" Paltio shouted as the protective sphere faded."Looks like Mok isn’t," Lucca commented, observing

"Take this, Mok! Receive my secret technique: 'Dark Bloody Blade'!"From Tok’s sword emerged an enormous wave in the shape of a blade, like a shadowy crescent that sliced through the air with a thunderous roar. The dark energy surged directly toward Mok, brimming with devastating force.Mok raised his sword to block the attack. As the blade of his weapon clashed against the dark crescent, black lightning burst from the point of contact, briefly illuminating the dark surroundings. With superhuman effort, Mok withstood the impact and, channeling all his strength, deflected the attack upward, launching it into the sky."Not bad, little brother," Tok said with a mocking smile, "but you let your guard down."Before Mok could react, Tok delivered a punch to his abdomen that sent him flying several meters backward. Though he managed to stop his fall with an agile midair somersault, his body was visibly weakened. He spat blood as he stood up, the bandages covering his wounds now soaked red. T

"No, Mok!" Paltio shouted as he watched his friend being swallowed by an enormous mouth emerging from the depths. The creature descended again, vanishing into the same abyss from which it had come. Mok could feel himself being dragged deeper into the beast's dark, slimy interior. With one hand and one leg injured, he could barely resist. But then he heard Geki’s voice. The small gecko acted swiftly, launching a rope anchored on either side of the cavernous stomach of the creature.Mok clung to it with every ounce of strength he had left, avoiding being fully engulfed. "That was close," he murmured in relief as he caught his breath."Don't even mention it, buddy," Geki replied calmly, though his eyes betrayed a flicker of concern. "Now we need to figure out how to get out of here. How are you holding up?""A little sore, but nothing unbearable. I'll be fine." Mok tried to smile, though fatigue was etched across his face."Too bad I don’t know any healing magic, but I can bandage those

Pax quickly got to his feet, moving with the stealth Lume had taught him. With a precise leap, he lunged at Aresus. However, sensing something approaching, Aresus adjusted his helmet in a swift defensive motion. The impact of the attack cleanly split it in half, the metallic pieces clattering to the ground with a dull thud.As the helmet came apart, it revealed a familiar yet terrifying face. Pax and Paltio froze, stunned and horrified by the sight before them. It was Mok’s face—but distorted by a cold, merciless expression that didn’t belong to the kind butler they knew.“It can’t be… Are you…? Are you Mok?” Paltio asked, his voice trembling as he wrestled with a mix of anger, anxiety, and fear. The man holding him captive around the waist gripped him like a bear trap, preventing any movement.“Me? Mok? Fools, I am not Mok,” Aresus replied with a mocking smile, his eyes gleaming cruelly under the dim light.“Of course, you’re not him,” Pax interjected, regaining his composure and poi

“No, Mok!” Paltio shouted desperately as he watched his butler slip just as the massive curtain of fire began to descend upon him.At that exact moment, Pax acted swiftly. With an agile motion, he extended his hand and firmly grabbed Mok, pulling him back from certain death. The flames roared behind them, consuming the spot where Mok had been only seconds before.“Thank you,” Mok said, still trembling as he regained his balance.“Mok, you seem a bit distracted,” Paltio remarked, observing his butler with concern.“Don’t worry, Master, I’m fine,” Mok replied, though his voice betrayed a hint of unease. “I don’t know what happened… I felt something on my path that made me trip. If it hadn’t been for Luke—I mean, Pax—I wouldn’t have made it.”“Are you two done whispering? Let’s keep moving,” Aresus interrupted indifferently, showing no emotion whatsoever about the near-death experience they had just witnessed.“What a cold-hearted man!” Paltio muttered under his breath, irritated that Ar
