"Seriously?" Maxin and Ragil chuckled at the name.

"You looked better as Pax," they said in unison, sharing a mischievous glance.

"I think it's a good name," Alita offered with a friendly smile toward the girl.

"Yeah, whatever, kid," Lukeandria replied in an indifferent tone, though her eyes hinted at discomfort.

"Kid? We're the same age," Alita shot back with a smirk.

"I always thought it was odd how short a soldier you were."

Lukeandria scowled, but before she could reply, her expression hardened.

"Now that you’ve seen my face… I have no choice but to eliminate you all, to keep my secret hidden."

Her voice was steady, but a flicker of doubt crossed her gaze.

"Sure, sure," Alita replied with a casual wave, brushing off the threat.

Still, Lukeandria studied them seriously—and for a moment, it wasn’t clear if she meant it.

Before she could act, Galatea stepped in.

“Look, this is it, my lord,” announced one of the soldiers accompanying the leader in the golden mask, pointing to a pile of branches and leaves covering the base of a mountain.“That’s right. This is it,” Jock confirmed as he surveyed the scene. What appeared to be a door lay hidden beneath the natural cover. “Alright, soldiers, clear the entrance. I order you!”The soldiers hurried to remove the leaves and branches with the swords attached to the shafts of their spears. Once the entrance was cleared, a dark and spacious passage was revealed. They prepared torches and began to enter. The opening was large enough to allow ten people to pass through at once.“My lord, they’ve entered,” reported the spy observing them from afar, communicating with his general through a device.“Excellent, boy. We’re already in position and ready to attack,” replied the general in a firm voice. “Prepare to seal the entrance on my command.”“Yes, sir. Awaiting your instructions, sir,” the spy responded, r

“Well, it’s finally the day we’ve been waiting for! Time to wake up!” Jock announced loudly as he paced among the soldiers wearing white masks. His tone rang out with resolve, but one soldier remained deeply asleep, oblivious to the call."Just a little longer..." murmured the young soldier, clinging stubbornly to his rest. Jock observed him for a moment before approaching stealthily. With a mischievous smile, he leaned in close and shouted right by the boy’s ear.The youth leaped so high it seemed as though a spring had propelled him. Dazed, he shot upright and nervously adjusted the white mask over his face. It was clear he was one of the youngest recruits.“Yes, sir! I’m awake now!” he exclaimed, trembling as he tried to regain his composure.Jock looked at him with a mix of severity and amusement before addressing the group. “Alright, everyone. Our lord—the Lord of the Golden Mask, our leader—has something important to say.”At that moment, the man with the golden mask entered. Hi

The two clashed with devastating force, their weapons meeting in a duel of opposing powers. Aresus’s sword was wrapped in dark flames, while Mok’s radiated pure and controlled energy. Rykaru shouted, nearly blown away by the force of the energy clash."Calm down, I’ve got you," Paltio said, quickly rushing to the little one and holding him firmly."Thanks, Daddy," Rykaru replied, clinging tightly to him."We should create a barrier before we all get blown away by that shockwave," Lume suggested, quickly conjuring a protective barrier aro

"Come here, Filio! Come if you dare!" Aresus taunted with a mocking smile."How dare you do that to Master Paltio?" Mok responded with contained fury, his voice thundering through the cave. "I swore to be his protector. I swore to his family that I would always keep him safe. Now you’ll see... It’s time we settle this."Mok paused, his gaze hardening as he adjusted his tie with determination. "Brother... No, not anymore. You are no longer my brother or my family. My family is the royal family of Avocadalia, who took me in when no one else did. The boy was astonished to hear the man addressed as “Your Majesty.” His mind began to whirl, wondering why someone as unreachable as a king would care about a homeless nobody, a piece of trash."Relax, soldier," Rodelos said calmly, raising a hand to stop any excessive formality. "I have already told you to just call me Rodelos. I don’t like formalities.""But, sir," the soldier replied, still out of breath from his search. "I’ve been looking for you everywhere. I thought something had happened to you. And what are you doing in this godforsaken alley?""Calm down, Rex," Rodelos responded with a serene smile. "I was just wandering around here and came across this young one. From today onwards, this boy will be under my care.""Seriously, sir? Are you joking, right?" Rex asked skeptically, looking at the child in disbelief."No, soldier. This boy will come with us and accompany me on my travels. From now on, Mok will belong... no, he will be part of the royal family of Avocadalia."Rex

"Nooo…! Master!" Mok shouted in desperation, struggling to rise as he clutched the wound his brother had inflicted. His voice was heavy with anguish, and the pain made him stagger."What have you done, Tok?" Mok demanded furiously, glaring at his brother with restrained hatred."Well, I guess Lord Urugas will scold me if your little friend died," Tok replied indifferently, though a flicker of mockery shone in his eyes. "Maybe I overdid it a bit.""Calm down, Mok, relax," Golden said within Mok’s mind. "Paltio is fine."From the dust and smoke emerged a glowing sphere that floated calmly. It was Paltio, along with the others, protected by a barrier that cushioned their fall. They had escaped unscathed thanks to Sacaram's power."Huh, that was close," Tok muttered sarcastically. "Well, it seems your princeling has quite luck. He’s got more lives than a cat.""We’re okay, Mok! Don’t worry!" Paltio shouted as the protective sphere faded."Looks like Mok isn’t," Lucca commented, observing
