THE SUPREME BEING WHO WOKE UP AS A NOBODY.

The last thing Emperor Xuan remembered was the destruction of heaven.

Above the Nine Celestial Realms, the sky had split into a thousand fragments. Ancient stars collapsed one after another, their light swallowed by a vortex of black flames. The laws of space trembled beneath his feet as an enormous golden formation appeared across the heavens.

At its centre stood Xuan Tian, the youngest cultivator ever to reach the legendary Ninth Heaven Realm.

For three thousand years, he had pursued the ultimate path of cultivation. He had conquered forbidden lands, defeated immortal beasts, and forced ancient sect masters to bow before him. His name alone was enough to silence entire kingdoms.

Yet, at the height of his power, he had encountered something even he could not understand.

A black star.

It had appeared without warning during his attempt to transcend the mortal universe. Unlike ordinary celestial objects, it possessed no aura, no spiritual fluctuations, and no trace of life. When Xuan Tian touched it, the universe screamed.

Now, as the heavens crumbled around him, he stared at the black star floating inside his palm.

"So this is the end?" he murmured,The star suddenly cracked.

A force beyond his comprehension erupted from within it, swallowing his consciousness,For the first time in three thousand years, the Supreme Emperor felt fear.

Then everything went dark."Get up, you useless piece of trash",a vicious kick struck his ribs.Xuan Tian's eyes snapped open.

He found himself lying on a filthy classroom floor. The smell of sweat, cheap perfume, and dust filled his nostrils. Around him stood several young people dressed in strange modern clothing.

One of them, a broad-shouldered boy with a gold chain around his neck, laughed."Look at him, did that little fall finally break his brain?"The others burst into laughter.

Xuan Tian stared at them. These people had no spiritual aura. Their bodies were weak, their movements clumsy, and their behaviour disgraceful.Where was he?

He tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through his chest. His hands trembled. His meridians felt clogged, his muscles were painfully weak, and even the spiritual energy surrounding him was so thin that it was almost nonexistent.

He closed his eyes and searched his memories.Fragments flooded his consciousness.

His new name was Cooper Williams. He was eighteen years old, a student at Westbridge High School, and the weakest boy in his class. His father, Daniel Williams, had once owned a successful transport business before a series of financial disasters destroyed it.

His mother, Margaret, worked two jobs to keep the family alive. His younger sister, Lily, was twelve.Their house was mortgaged,Their savings were gone.Their debts were growing.

And Cooper himself had become a convenient target for anyone who wanted to feel powerful.

The memories grew darker.Three days earlier, Cooper had been beaten behind the school gymnasium after refusing to hand over money to Victor Hayes, the son of a wealthy businessman.

Yesterday, Victor had humiliated him in front of the entire school. That morning, Cooper had returned to confront him, only to be beaten again.

The original owner of this body had suffered a severe blow to the head. Then he had died, and Xuan Tian had awakened in his place.

"Hey, I'm talking to you!"Victor crouched in front of him and slapped his cheek."Your family owes people money, your father is a failure, and you can't even defend yourself. What exactly are you good for?"

Something cold stirred in Xuan Tian's eyes.

In his former world, a mortal who dared touch his face without permission would have been reduced to ashes.

He slowly raised his head."Have you finished speaking?"

The laughter stopped.Victor blinked.

"What did you say?"

"I asked whether you had finished speaking."

Victor's face twisted with anger. He grabbed Cooper by the collar and raised his fist."You think you can talk back to me now?"

Xuan Tian looked at the approaching fist,It was slow.Painfully slow.

His body, however, could barely react. He could still remember every cultivation technique he had mastered, every sword art, every forbidden spell. But knowledge was not power. His current body possessed almost no spiritual energy, and his meridians were damaged.

He could not unleash even a fraction of his former strength. He had become a supreme cultivator without the power to lift a finger.

Victor punched him.Xuan Tian allowed his head to turn with the blow. He studied the boy's balance, breathing, and posture. Victor's right shoulder moved before every strike. His left leg carried too much weight.

A crude fighter,a predictable one. When Victor swung again, Xuan Tian shifted his body slightly. The fist missed his face.

At the same moment, Xuan Tian caught Victor's wrist. For one brief instant, the classroom became silent.

Victor tried to pull away.He could not.

"Let go!" he shouted.

Xuan Tian's fingers tightened.

Victor's expression changed from anger to disbelief."What the hell are you doing?"

"Learning," Xuan Tian replied. He released him.

Victor stumbled backwards, clutching his wrist."You'll regret this!" he screamed. "My father will destroy your family!"

Xuan Tian watched him leave with his followers. Then he looked at his trembling hands.

This world was strange. People without spiritual cultivation possessed extraordinary technologies, yet they used their advantages to bully the weak.More importantly, the threat against Cooper's family was not an empty one.

His memories contained a name: Black Serpent Syndicate. The organisation had financed the Williams family's business before the collapse. Its leader, Marcus Vane, had been demanding repayment with interest that grew every month.

The original debt had been manageable. The accumulated penalties had become a trap.

And the syndicate had given the family one final deadline,Tonight.

Xuan Tian stood slowly. He had once commanded armies that could destroy continents,Now he was trapped in the body of a bullied student, surrounded by enemies who considered his family easy prey.

He had no intention of wasting his time on them, all he needed was a way to restore his cultivation and return to his own universe.

He turned toward the classroom door. Then he heard a girl's voice.

"Cooper!"

A small girl stood outside, clutching a worn schoolbag. Her eyes were red, and tears streaked her cheeks,It was Lily Williams. She ran to him and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Mum told me to bring you home. Please, Cooper. We have to hurry."

He looked down at her."Why are you crying?"

Lily hesitated."The bad men came to our house."

Her small fingers tightened around his shirt."They said if Dad doesn't pay tonight, they'll take you away."

For the first time since his reincarnation, Xuan Tian felt something stir inside him that had nothing to do with cultivation.

It was a memory of the original Cooper.A memory of a boy who had endured humiliation every day but still walked his sister home so no one would bully her.

Xuan Tian exhaled slowly. He had intended to abandon this body and escape. But perhaps, before leaving, he could settle a few debts. He placed a hand gently on Lily's head.

"Take me home."His gaze turned cold."I want to meet these men”.
