Kael stood in the center of a massive room which has a high ceilings streamed with crimson light that filtered through the cracks in the stone walls.
Once, this had been a clearing, a place where he had exchanged vows with his lover. “Do you take him as your mate and the Alpha of this pack?” her father had repeated countlessly as if telling her to reject him, a wolfless boy without a pack. “I do till death do us apart.” she kept saying, staring at him with a warm smile ignoring the murmurs of the pack. Their vows weren't properly exchanged before they were massacred. Her crime was loving a wolfless man while his, was being a wolfless man and dreaming of being her mate and Alpha of her pack. But now, he wasn't a wolfless boy anymore but the last existing god on earth, the god of ruins. The smell of smoke, wax and old blood lingered in the air. His gaze traced the room that held their vows and blood silently, noting every detail as his chest tightened. But then, a voice cut through the room disturbing his peace. “Who are you?” the guard snapped. Kael said nothing nor spare him a glance. “I have never seen someone that pale before,” another added. “Who are you and what are you doing here!” another yelled. But it felt like they were talking to a ghost as Kael ignored them. “Attack!” a guard yelled, rushing towards him The rest followed regretting it too late. As Kael’s eyes snapped towards them, moving his hands deliberately. A wave of force burst outward sending the guards crashing against the wall, their screams filling the room. “Who..who are you?” one dared ask despite the pain. “A nightmare.” he whispered, his voice lifeless. But before the guards could answer, smoke rose from the candles and lanterns around the throne room and circled them choking them strongly before setting them on fire. The screams from the guards were so painful and echoed in the room drawing attention from others but the man before them had a smile edged at the corner of his lips. “Who is there?” someone asked as voices and footsteps rushed into the room. But when the guards entered there was no one else in the room except Kael, who simply stared at them without moving. Their torches flickered violently around him, casting dancing shadows across the walls. “What are you doing here?” The first guard queried. “Sightseeing.” Kael replied, flatly. “In the throne room.” the guard asked, approaching him. But when he lifted his torch light and saw his eyes, he froze. Kael's eyes were one gold and one deep silver gray. “Who…who are you?” the guard stuttered, stepping back. “Do I always have to answer that,” Kael groaned. “Step back!” “He is…..” The guard was still talking when he started choking and vomiting blood. Some of the guards rushed towards him, trying to help him. But behind them was Kael smirking until, “How dare you stride into my territory without fear?” A voice barked. Kael tilted his head towards the direction of the voice, That was who he was waiting for, the alpha who dared build his throne room on him and his lover's blood. From the raised dais at the far end of the room, a figure descended, tall and broad. Every movement precise, deadly and oddly familiar to Kael. And when he stepped into light, Kael saw his face and froze, the whole hair in his body stood, anger coiling into rage inside him. The alpha who dared to disgrace the ground on which his blood and lover's blood was spilled was his lover's brother, Darian who had betrayed them and killed him “You will speak, when I order you to.” “Identify yourself or be restrained.” Darian ordered, his voice calm but edged with steel. The hall fell into a tense suffocating silence. Even the shadows seemed to draw back leaving Kael standing alone, his chest rising and falling in a slow dangerous rhythm. “I want answer!” the man barked, stepping towards Kael. Kael clenched his hands tightly forcing the desire to destroy everyone down. “I will count to three and if I don't get an answer,” “I will declare you a transpasser.” Darian threatened. Kael breathed in slowly. He could feel it, the heartbeat of the hall, the tension of the guards and the scent of fear mingled with authority. “One…..two…..” “Three, guards take him to the dungeon.” Darian ordered infuriated. Kael said nothing neither did he struggle as the guard dragged him away towards the dungeon but his eyes held something different. The guards threw him into a cage and locked him in before exiting the dungeon slamming the door shut. Kael leaned against the cold stone wall with his eyes closed. He could feel the rage burning inside himime molten steel in his veins but he struggled to remain in control. “Not yet,” he whispered to himself.Latest Chapter

CHAPTER ELEVEN - SHE IS A WITCH.
The air shifted as Aralynn began falling, she should have hit the rocks and died.Instead, the wind softened as light wrapped around her body like unseen arms, slowing her descent until the ground met her gently. The glow thickened, pulsing slowly before sinking into her skin. She lay alive, breathing but unconscious. Aralynn was the only thing on Kael's lips and mind as the wind carried him down faster than gravity should allow. When his boots hit the ground, his gaze went straight to her. But there at the cliff bottom lay her, untouched by blood or bruises and engulfed in a glowing ethereal light. Kael approached her slowly. The air and light around her hummed. His eyes narrowed as he crouched beside her. "This isn't mine,” he muttered faintly. He had torn through magic before, burned spell lines and crushed covens. This power didn’t resist him. It rejected him, throwing him off his feet. “Magic,” he spat, standing up. But this wasn't just any magic. His hands hovered
