“What happens if I tell any person?”

“You'll be assassinated by the unknown,” Richard said as he stood in front of Scott and his mother.

“W-who are the unknown?” Mrs. Kate and Scott asked, looking curious. 

“That's the reason I called you here Scott”

“Alright. Go on! Richard”.

“I was poisoned by a man I worked for. He was my boss but he later turned out to be my worst enemy. 

“Why?” Scott asked.

“Because he wanted me dead!”

“Why was your boss after your life?” Mrs. Kate chipped in after a long moment of silence.

“There was a missing item he was looking for. It was a drive with a lot of leaked video including crimes, murder drugs and others.”

“He accused me I stoled the drive, but I deneid he then ordered I should be poisoned. That's was how you met me Scott.” Richard said as he took a sip of his whine.

“Richard!

Why did you stole his drive”?

Scott said, his face could tell he had begun to loose trust in Richard.

“It's not what you think man”

“My father was drowning in debt and he met him to seek help, but my father couldn't pay back and I was asked to serve till the debt is paid. 

“But when my father died, he asked me to work as his driver or I'll pay the debt my father owed within a short time. All I use, are his and if I disobey he'll kill me”

After his statement, Richard sat on the chair. He tap his feet steadily against the floor as the sound broke the silence of the room. Both Scott and Mrs. Kate where wondering at his sad story.

“What a wicked Man could he be to do such. What position does he has to take your life if you don't serve him?” Mrs. Kate asked looking extremely angry.

“He's a rich tycoon and influential figure too .

“Wow I see”

Scott removed his hand he had placed under his jaw, he then gently removed his black eagle glass. He was tired of the sick story, so he bent to ask Richard his question.

“Who is the man!?”

Richard stopped tapping his foot on the ground immediately. He felt an internal heat in his cloth.

‘why did he need the man now?. If I let him know, he'll rush quicky and get trapped by that Cobra”, Richard whispered to himself.

“Don't worry about him, but I'm okay now” he said.

Scott stare at him for a moment without uttering a single word. Richard then realized everything were not alright. Without any other talks,

“I'll tell you his name” Richard said.

“H-his name is Misha from Cape city”

“W-what! Misha with blonde hair?. also known as Cobra king”?

“Yes”

Mrs. Kate became cold again hearing that name, tears ran down her cheek as she cleaned it immediately without letting Scott know.

“Mom, why are you weeping”

“I'm okay Scott” she said 

“No you're not mom”

Richard was sitting waiting for there respond but saw Mrs. Kate crying confusion filled his mind. 

“What is going on Mrs. Kate?” Richard asked. Scott was also waiting for her comment.

“It's him!”

“Who are you taking about Scott asked”

“Misha. He is the reason we're in this condition”.

Scott took a deep breath, he looked at her with a deep satisfaction just for seeing her.

“I know mom”

“I know he is behind this but he's not alone. He has Surbodinate known and unknown ones”

Richard then realized they knew him 

He immediately chipped in.

“Wow you know him?”

“Yes we do” Scott and Mrs. Kate said.

Now they all knew who he was, but not fully. Richard decided to show them what he had in the drive.

But Scott was still confused in the whole situation because he was away and have no idea of what was happening at home.

“Mom what really happened?”

“Your father Bruce didn't tell me anything. He was very busy the day he planned to tell me, tagging the conversation as top secret, he was assassinated”

Scott stood from his sit burn with anger 

He throw his glass wine against the wall. He hit the dinning table with his hand

“What the f*ck is going on”

“Calm down Scott, don't get in a rush to do anything. There are powerful leaders and other tycoon like Misha who is very rich. and before you could do anything, you must also be rich like them.”

“I've worked for one and I know what I'm saying. But I'll like to show you and Mrs. Kate a Hidden secret no one knows”

“A secret?”

“Yes!”

Richard ordered Scott to sit as he brought out his laptop. he inserted a black flash drive in the laptop.

Shortly after he inserted the drive, the files open. He then proceeded to open each files in the order it was arranged on the screen.

There were four files  arranged accordingly. Three voice record audio and two videos were seen.

“Play audio 1!” Scott muttered.

Richard pressed the enter key on the laptop. They all sat quietly to hear everything.

“Oh damn!”

“What's the problem Richard?”

“The files are showing access denied. It requires a passcode to access each files”

“How can we get that?” Scott asked.

“That's another mission to embark on. I guess”

“Yes you're right Mrs. Kate, the only way is to secretly go and get the necessary information about the drive to know the passcode”

They all sat thinking, deliberating and bring ideas. 

“That's a top notch mission. I believe you're the right person to handle that Richard” Scott Said.

“Yes!”

“But my chances of succeeding on this mission, are likely 50-50 probability”, Richard said.

“I think you should start spying before embarking on the main mission right now” Scott said.

“Scott! remember, they thought I'm dead so I'm not doing anything silly okay…, maybe I'll start spying in the next seven days. By then, they must have forgotten about me”

“That's a good idea Richard 

Let's wait for the days countdown then.”

They both concur in agreement a sign of relief where seen on their faces. They all lift their wines and cheers together with gentle smiles.

After that, they were still sitted when a thought ran through Richard's mind.

“What's the problem? Richard is everything alright?” Scott asked.

“Umm. Yeah Scott, But…”

“But what?”

He covered his faces with his palm, he was somehow ashame but couldn't speak, because he had invited them as visitors.

Urging them to leave now will be inappropriate.

“I’m not longer the owner of this house, and I think we should take our leave now” Richard said.

“Why should we leave?” 

“It's part of the collateral. Remember I told you I have nothing, top security are always here at night to guide this house and surrounding, against invaders as I have become one”

They pick up their mini belongings moving out of the house. 

Few minutes after moving out, 

“Hey Richard what's going there” Scott asked. As they saw three cars moving into the house.
