The guards were staring at them when a lady walked to the curved golden gate, with a beautiful lustre.

“What's the problem Mr. Scott? I believed you're the person that called a few minutes.”

“Yes ma'am. This men restricted us from coming in.”

“I'm deeply sorry Mr. Scott, I'll handle this matter later. But please come in.”

They both moved in when the security men were looking at them. One of them was feeling guilty, but the junior asked him to cheer up.

In the company, there were different kinds of cars all parked with neat looks. Spike was marvelled, at that moment he saw the beautiful car he had seen on the billboard, He forgot about his own car outside.

“Which class of car do you want Mr. Scott”. The lady said, walking ahead of him.

“I want a Red Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. The exact car on the Banner advert”

“Thanks Mr. Scott but unfortunately we don't sell our advert cars, except you'll buy with a high price. Because of that reason, no one could afford it.”

At first, Scott was disappointed. but when he heard there's another option, he felt alive again.

“What's the cost of The Red Lamborghini Venom Roadster?. 2025 series.” Scott asked.

“The price is $8.3 million.”

“What?  Spike yelled at Scott.

“$8.3 million?”

“It's fine Spike don't worry, everything we'll be alright”.

The woman stared at Spike, amidst his reaction she could tell they aren't serious about buying any product. Regret was seen over her face, why she picked the call in the face place.

“What's the total cost ma'am?” Scott asked.

She took a deep breath, to fulfill all the processes before letting them leave.

“Well, it's $10 million dollars”.

“Can I have the company's Bank details for the transaction?” Scott asked.

The lady stares at Scott in both doubt and confusion.

“Did you really want to do this?”she asked.

“Is this how clients are treated here?”, Scott asked.

“No Sir. Here is the company's details”

She handed over the company's account details on a card for him.

They were still standing there when the lady received a message.

Ding!.

“Can we go get the car now”?

The lady looked at her, almost forgetting herself. 

“Y-yes sir. Let's go”.

For the first time Spike was dumbfounded.

‘Who’s this kind of man that spends recklessly. I guess he should be the heir to a great billionaire fortune. But I don't know him’. He whispered to himself as he walked slowly behind Scott.

The lady handed over the car key to Scott as she gave him a warm handshake.

“Thanks for your patronage Mr. Scott”. She stood there waiting for them to drive out before she'll move to the office as usual.

Scott handed over the key to Spike with his hand in his pocket.

“I'd like you to be my personal driver, then the car will be yours. and I'll pay $1,000 dollars as your monthly allowance”

“W-what did you mean?”

“I can't take this Scott. It's too expensive for me”

Scott laughed feeling a bit of relief 

‘This is the kind of subordinate I need’, he whispered.

“Well Spike!. This is the type of risk I was talking about earlier, you remember?”

“Yes I do”

“Will you accept?

“Yes/ No”

“I-i accept” Spike muttered he stammered seeing himself in such situations.

He knelt before Scott as he thanked him several times.

“Please get up Spike. Congratulations for accepting the offer. Your job starts now”.

“Alright Scott. let's go!”.

They drove out of the company, while the two security officers were still standing waiting for their return. but to their greatest shock, they now own the costliest Lamborghini, driving with steeze.

They stopped at the gate looking at the both security officers, then Scott opened up.

“You both can make use of the car over there, as long as you wish. it's yours”

Scott and Spike laughed together for the first time as they drove off, leaving the company's arena entirely.

Scott had already directed Spike to take him to a hotel where he had his first meal earlier.

“Speed up! Spike, it's getting dark”

He remembered everything Rhoda told her. Buying shares with the company and enjoying other benefits. Her mom was homeless and he must provide a house for her before it gets dark.

A few hours later, they arrived at the hotel.

The moment the guards saw the car, they stood to escort the customers in. Immediately they saw Scott, they bowed.

“Welcome Sir”

Scott smiled. Now they have a glimpse of who he was, his car alone speaks for him. 

He ordered Spike to wait outside as he entered the hotel.

He moved straight to the front desk.

“Where's The Manager’s office, " he asked.

The lady at the front desk directed him as he made his way, heading to the manager’s office.

Rhoda eyes were fixed in his computer as he lifted up his eyes, he saw him from a distance, he recognized him.  she quickly adjusted her sit, parked her hair. And sat appropriately.

“There she is”

“I won't dare to fail now. I must play my role this time”. Scott said as he knocked the door.

“Please come in”, she ordered.

Scott gently opened the door as he walked in looking directly into her eyes.

He felt a matched collaboration instantly.

“Please sit Mr. Scott”

“Alright Miss. Rhoda, but remember I told you to address me as Scott”

“Oh sorry Scott, but you made the same mistake by addressing me as Miss. Rhoda, but I told you to address me as Rhoda too”

“Yeah. That's a coincidence and we're both victims”

“Yes maybe”, Rhoda answered as she smiled. Looking into Scott's eyes they both smiled in uniform.

The air conditioner was working properly but Rhoda felt an internal heat in her body as sweat dropped down her face.

“It's everything alright Rhoda?”

“Yes Mr. Scott.”

“I-i mean Scott”, she almost stammered.

“So Scott, how can I help today?” She asked.

“I want to buy some rooms in this hotel. Which places are available?”

“The  8th, 9th and 10th floor are available, but the 19th floor and 10th are very costly, Scott.”

“What's the cost of the entire 10th floor?” Scott asked.

“The Price of 10th floor is $24 million , and it's not negotiable Scott”

“What?. $24 million?”

“Yes, I told you it's costly”

“That's not a problem. I think I have the company's Bank details, so I can do the transaction right away”.

Rhoda became confused, at first she thought he couldn't afford to get it due to the way he shouted. but she realized he was joking.

Scott opened his system only him can see,

He became impressed with the figure he saw.

‘Wow!. the Super Double system is indeed incredible’ he whispered silently in his mind.

Immediately Rhoda received the alert, other top stakeholders received the same notification. Rhoda excused Scott as she received several calls. Scott sensed she was speaking with her directors, he then opened his screen again.

After answering her calls, she then sat upright.

“Sorry for the interruption”, she muttered.

“It's okay,” Scott said.

Scott looked at her as they both kept silent for a minute looking at each other. Scott removed his eye glass at this point.

“Can I ask you for a favour?”

“What's the favour?” she asked.

“I want you to come with me to a dinner party”

“What?”

“Any problem?.” Scott asked, facing her calmly.

“There's no problem. But… I can't go with you to a dinner party”

“Why”

“I'm not a classic type for you. Maybe you'll look for someone much richer than me. I just work here and I don't want to lose my job”

Scott laughed as he held her right hand on the table. But he watched his actions out, not to do anything silly. Knowing fully well they're in the office. Hence he must act professionally.

“Don't worry I'll choose you to go with me. Mind you, you'll choose the appropriate time you're free”

“If that's the case, I'll be free tomorrow by 7pm” she said.

 “But I'll like to ask you some few questions Scott”

That's what he wanted already and it seems it getting closer

“Alright ask!” Scott muttered.

As she was about to speak, Scott's phone buzzed. He picked his phone from his pocket, Richard was the caller. He slid the answer button up to hear him out.

“Hello Scott, please you're needed right now. It's urgent!”
