Kael on Earth

Benjamin swam out of the water, sea predators swimming away fast from him as though he emitted a more deadly aura.

Immediately his feet touched the coast, the ocean air felt different — unusual. He paused, looking around strangely. His cloth retained water, clinging to his form like a second skin. Behind him, the ocean was on turbulence, crashing over and over. The lamentation of sailor 1000km as the unsettled sea buffeted their ship was reaching his ear clearly— A sound range no ordinary human could hear.

"Where am I?" He muttered, looking at the blood blot on his cloth which told stories he couldn't understand. His eyes shifted to the sea again. "After 2000 years of my non-existence, I finally reincarnated inside of a human body."

He spun on the oceans, his eyes focused on the crashing waves as he spoke in a high commanding tone with his hand stretched at the ocean. "I, Kael...the supreme Lord of Elyndra command you ocean to stay calm."

Nothing happened.

Karl looked at himself like he'd just been offended.

"This body is weak." He sneered, yet lifting hand mid-air as he spoke in strange language. His eyes shone brightly with a white light.

".Sharazafrabuzaba.....Calm, Ocean."

Immediately, the ocean settled. Kael smirked lightly, unimpressed, but satisfied.

"That's what I thought," He said. "Water, air, and sand listen to my command in Elyndra. They don't disobey me now." He said, moving forward, gently.

"I have always detested human beings because they're pathetically weak," His fist curled into a tight fist. "But now, I just became one of them."

His finger dug into his palm till blood sipped. The sight of it heightened his anger as he hissed.

"Bloody weak humans." He moved, his feet leaving marks on the shore. "Kael don't bleed."

Kael walked for several kilometres, far away from the shore without dropping a sweat. Ahead of him laid a thick forest. He paused looking around.

"Let's see what humans live in here."

His feet rattled dried leaves and sticks as he followed a narrow path in the forest. The chirping of beds and sounds of terrestrial animals echoed all over the night, canopy trees stood tall, casting huge shadows like beasts, but Kael was fearless. His hands crossed behind his back in calm composure as he moved in the dead hour of the night.

After another 20 minutes walk, he arrived in a small village. Thatched hut scattered in the villages, but it was quiet with no one in sight. As a supreme being, Kael could sense life. The occupants were hiding.

He chuckled. "Is that fear I..."

An arrow tore through the air from the back before he could finish. Quickly, he swerved right, dodging the arrow which lodged into a tree in front.

"Huh?" He chuckled in amusement.

More arrows Pierced the darkness from different angles, shattering mud pots and heaps of leaves. Kael dodged the weapons with ease, his movement unworldly, fluid, and precise.

The attack stopped for a moment.

Then,

Suddenly,

A guttural roar came from behind. A strange human charged towards Kael to slay him with a sword.

Kael flicked his hand. The sword flew from the man's hand with a dangerous force that tore through one of the thatched huts. Screamed echoed inside.

The attacker's eyes widened in horror as he slammed to a stop, wondering what force disarmed him. "What...." His voice trailed off.

Kael chuckled, his expression firm and unreadable. He dashed towards the man and held his neck, lifting him mid-air.

The man struggled, sweeping his legs in the air from frantically to fred himself as he was losing his breath real fast.

"Who are you," Kael asked Commandingly. "Speak now!"

"I..I please..let me go..."

An old woman stumbled out from one of the huts, holding a guttering lantern. She crumbled on her knee.

"Please let my son go," She pleaded, tear streaking down her eyes. "Please."

Kael's grip loosened slightly, but he didn't release the man. He looked in the old woman's direction to see more people coming from different huts.

Men, women and kids. The men clad animal skin around their waist, but their torso was left bare with strange markings on their body, while their women were covered both on the chest and waist.

At another side stood tall men who were still pointing weapons at Kael. A man stepped forward from their midst, his presence giving the Aura of a king. On his head rested a crown made from an ostrich feather. He was obviously the king of the unknown village.

Kael's stoic expression cracked slightly, his eyes skimping from each person to the next. A kid clung to her mother's leg, streaming tears. "Why do you attempt to kill me?" He toned.

The feather head man took another step forward, his voice firm as a leader should. He gestured as the warriors to lower their weapon. "Your people always come here to kill us," He toned. "They steal from us. They have a strange metal weapon that takes our life at one shot. What do you want with us this time around?"

Silence.

Kael's eyes narrowed, oblivious to what he was talking about. "My people?" He muttered thoughtfully. Looking at the people, he sensed fear and helplessness. He gently dropped the man he was holding.

Jangan, the king of the village pulled out a glittering object from the purse hanging on his shoulder. It was gold. Original. Pure.

"If you're looking for this, then you can have it," He said. "But don't kill us."

Kael took one step forward, his eyes narrowing. "And what's that?"

Jangan was slightly surprised. "Your people have been killing us for this. You don't know why it is," His brow arched. "We worship it. We call it Gull. Our god."

Kael shook his head lightly, still assessing the object. Recognition suddenly flickered in his eyes. "That's called Urres in the world where I come from," His brow lifted. "You worship this?" He said, slightly amused.

"Urres worships me in Elyndra."

He said, but the people were confused as they murmured among themselves.

He pressed on gently but firmly. "And listen, I'm not here to take the Gull or whatever. I'm only looking for my way out of here." He said.

Meanwhile, in the metropolis of Frostholm city, the inside of a room was hot, hitting with the smell of sweat and something musky.

A bed creaked continuously from the corner. On the bed laid a woman, completely naked, her leg hanging mid-air by a man who dived in and out of her.

The woman was serena Cole, Benjamin's wife who orchestrated his cold death.

Serena collapsed on the bed, her chest rising and falling in quick and erratic breath over the pleasure.

She chuckled low, still trying to catch her breath. "You aren't always easy when it comes to this, Alejandro."

"And you always love it the hard way, Mi amor." Alejandro, the same man who framed Benjamin for stealing his card in the Imperial Bank. He was Serena's secret lover, Ex-mayor of Frostholm city, and the CEO of AurumX industry, a gold industry. "Good thing we got rid of your husband."

Serena sat up, her face a mask of irritation. "Dead husband," She clipped, her voice dripping with irritation. "I never counted him as one. He's just a dead weight dragging me down. He was my mistake. My regret. And if anything, I'm happy I got rid of him."

Before Alejandro could reply, his phone buzzed. Looking at the screen, his expression shifted to that of emergency. Dressing up quickly, he said. "I'll be right back." He planted a soft kiss on her lips and stepped out of the room into another room.

The phone pressed on his ear as he growled command.

"Make sure this time around, the gold supply is much and erases all tracks,' He toned. "Kill anyone who steps in your way."

"Yes Sir."

The line dropped dead.

Back to the fringe of the strange land, the sound of a helicopter tore through the sky.

Armed men trooped out from the helicopter as it descended.
