The Grant Tower boardroom was chaos. Executives shouted over one another, papers scattered across the table. The charts on the wall glowed crimson, lines plummeting downward.

Harold slammed his fist against the mahogany table. “This is impossible! We had inside confirmation! The Cole shipping arm was vulnerable!”

One advisor stammered, “Sir… it seems the information was… planted. The contracts we secured are void. The suppliers we approached were already locked into Cole Industries.”

Harold’s face twisted, veins bulging. “You mean we’ve spent billions”

“on air,” the advisor whispered.

Damian leaned back in his chair, his smirk faltering for the first time. “So… Adrian set us up.”

Silence gripped the room. Harold’s voice dropped, trembling with rage. “He played us. The boy we mocked, the servant we spat on… played us.”

At the Cole Tower, Adrian’s office glowed in the low light of evening. Marcus paced, laughing under his breath.
