Max gradually relaxed as he observed the matured man who explained the entire thing that transpired in his disconnection from the family.

"Maxwell check your right arm." The matured man instructed.

Max did as he was told he raised his dishevelled shirt sleeve up revealing a W mark etched on his right arm.

'Ive always wondered what that mark meant I've had it since living with Uncle Samson, He couldn't explain what this mark meant.' Max said inwardly as memories started to flow like a river.

"So Sir what does the mark mean?" Max inquired earnestly expecting a response.

The matured man showed the mark on his arm also it was a W mark that was etched on the arms of all true children of the Wonderson family.

"This mark is a means of recognition that's etched on the arms of all true children of the Wonderson Family. You were given this mark when you were much younger also." The matured man responded to the question.

"Sir I'll like to ask what happened to Uncle Samson?" Max inquired sincerely.

"Uncle Samson was assassinated by bad people who were after your life. Sincerely, speaking it was a miracle that you were able to still be alive till this point. I'm glad that you're still alive and strong till this point. I learned that you attained a degree in Biochemistry and you became an all rounder in your university." Mr Wonderson replied to Max's inquiry with a calm and calculated look.

"How did you know about this?" Max responded to Mr Wonderson's comment.

"Ive been monitoring you for so long and yet you weren't aware because I wanted it to be like that. I used Derrick to monitor you all these years." Mr Wonderson replied.

"Why? you may ask. It's because I care and love you son and I know that if you die. I'll become one with a heir. I must inform you about your junior brother. Brandon Wonderson he's a Systems Engineer working in Germany and he sent good wishes to the returning heir to the Wonderson Empire." Mr Wonderson added in his comments.

"I have a brother?" Max inquired as the whole thing was really shocking him.

"Yes you do. He'll probably visit one of these days and I'll love it that you'll get to know him better along with this connections you'll make together." Mr Wonderson responded to the inquiry.

"So why did you leave me with Uncle Samson?" Max inquired earnestly searching for answers.

"I left you with Uncle Samson because of your own safety and protection. I noticed that they when I mean they I'm talking about certain families that are interested in coming after the heir of the Wonderson Family. I'm aware of the danger it posed to the continuity of the empire's greatness. That's why I chose to relocate you to Uncle Samson for your own safety son, I love my two boys too much to see them perish when I would've stopped it." Mr Wonderson explained and paused.

The explanation exploded in Maxwell's mind as he couldn't comprehend what he'd just heard right now.

'So all this while I've been connected to a powerful family that has been protecting me and keeping me safe from the evils of certain rich families after us.' Max said inwardly as realization gradually started to dawn on him.

"I believe that the time has come to handover the empire to you because I can't keep running this anymore. I need my rest due to age and I believe that a young heir is a solution to this, If you can sit down with Derrick Reynolds and Professor Robert a dear friend of mine. It wouldn't be too long before you'll successfully be able to run this empire successfully." Wonderson continued in his journey of explanation..

"Sir ...." Max was interrupted by a finger wag.

"Don't call me sir. Call me Dad. I'm your Father and our relationship is deeper than you think. It's biological and I love you so much Max Wonderson." Mr Wonderson replied as he stroked his clean shaven chin.

"Dad what's the name of this empire?" Max asked as he expected a response the question had been bugging him for a while.

"The name of the empire is called Dawn Industries it's a family business that's lasted up to four hundred years." Mr Wonderson responded softly.

"Well that's a lot of history to think about though." Max replied.

"That's the truth of the matter it's four hundred years old and it had a lot of history behind it. The beauty of it is we maintain quality in all that we do." Mr Wonderson responded to his son's comment.

Mr Wonderson looked at his clock and realized that a lot of time had passed as they'd spent a lot of time discussing truths and revealing history about what had transpired all these years.

"Well I think you need a proper moment of relaxation, a bath and a change of raiment so that you'll officially walk into the family's status." Mr Wonderson said as he texted Derrick.

It didn't take long before the door gave way and Derrick walked in with a tray carrying confectionaries.

"Master Wonderson would you be interested in a strudel?" Derrick inquired knowing that Mr Wonderson loved strudels.

"Not right now Derrick. I'll prefer if you take care of my son. I need him to have a proper bath, change of raiment and change of cellular device. He needs to fit in to the family Derrick." Master Wonderson responded.

Derrick nodded affirmatively as he gestured to Young Master Maxwell to follow him.

Young Master Maxwell looked at his father as he sought for approval and Master Wonderson nodded in affirmation.

Maxwell arose from his seating position and follow Derrick who held the tray of confectionaries in his hands as he walked briskly exiting the quiet library.

Maxwell's footsteps made a clip clop sound as they copulated with the shiny floors that reflected the light of the chandeliers that illuminated the hallway of the mansion.

"Young Master Maxwell follow me and I'll show you you're wing in this mansion." Derrick said in an inviting tone.

Maxwell stared in wonder and excitement as a new world opened unto him.
