"Come."

Ethan's voice was calm. But inside, his body was screaming.

His health was still low. His arms were tired, and every part of him hurt from the battle inside the shrine.

Yet he stood there with the Moonfall Bow in his hands.

Nearly fifty players surrounded him.

Victor Kane stood behind them.

His black armor looked untouched.

His eyes remained fixed on the ancient bow.

"Do you really think you can fight all of us?" Victor asked.

Ethan said nothing.

He pulled the string. A silver arrow appeared.

Victor raised one hand.

"Attack." The players rushed forward.

Ethan released the arrow.

Boom! The first player was thrown backward.

[Normal attack detected.]

[Maximum HP increased.]

[True damage activated.]

[True damage dealt: 15.]

Another player came from the left.

Ethan turned and fired.

The arrow struck him in the chest.

[Maximum HP increased.]

The player fell. Ethan moved backward.

Three swords came toward him at once.

He jumped over the first attack and moved between the other two.

His body was weak, but his new senses helped him react faster.

He fired again Another player fell.

[Maximum HP increased.]

Ethan smiled.

Every attack was making him stronger.

That was the only thing keeping him alive.

But there were too many enemies.

A sword struck his shoulder. Blood came out.

Ethan stepped back.

Another player attacked.

He blocked with the Moonfall Bow.

The force pushed him several steps backward.

His health dropped.

[HP: 319.]

Ethan gritted his teeth.

He fired.

The attacker fell.

[Maximum HP increased.]

[True damage activated.]

Ethan looked at his health.

It was slowly rising.

Not because his body was healing quickly.

His maximum health was growing.

His talent was giving him a path.

He only needed to survive long enough.

"Ethan!"

A familiar voice came from behind the enemies.

Ethan's eyes widened.

"Ryan?"

A young man pushed his way through the forest.

Ryan Carter.

He was holding a sword and shield.

His clothes were dirty, and his face was covered with small wounds.

He looked exhausted.

But he was alive.

Ethan stared at him.

For a moment, he could not speak.

In his first life, Ryan had died during his first encounter with Darius.

Ethan had watched him fall.

He had remembered that moment for ten years.

But this time, Ryan was standing in front of him.

"Get away from Ethan!" Ryan shouted.

He charged into the crowd.

His shield struck one player.

Then another.

"Ryan!" Clara shouted.

She appeared behind him with her staff.

Lucas was beside her.

His face was pale, and one hand was still wrapped around his injured side.

Ethan's chest tightened.

They had followed him.

Even after everything.

Even after the Shadow Order had attacked them.

They had still come. Clara raised her staff.

"Firestorm!" Flames exploded across the ground.

Several players screamed and moved backward.

Lucas disappeared.

A moment later, he appeared behind an enemy and drove his dagger into the player's back.

The battle became chaos.

Ethan looked at his friends.

For the first time since his rebirth, he felt something warm inside him.

He had spent ten years alone in his previous life.

He had trusted people.

They had betrayed him.

He had helped others.

They had left him behind. But these three were different.

Ryan believed in teamwork.

Clara had stayed beside him even when she was terrified.

Lucas barely spoke, but he had returned to fight.

Ethan tightened his grip on his bow.

"I won't let them die."

Victor watched the battle from a distance.

His expression remained calm.

Then he looked at Ryan.

"That warrior."

One of his men stepped forward.

"Yes?"

"Kill him."

The player rushed toward Ryan.

Ryan blocked his sword.

Another player attacked from behind.

Lucas appeared and stopped the attack.

"Watch your back," Lucas said.

Ryan nodded.

"Thanks."

He raised his shield.

"Let's keep them away from Ethan."

Ethan fired another arrow.

The enemy fell.

[Maximum HP increased.]

Another arrow.

Another enemy fell.

[Maximum HP increased.]

Ethan's breathing became steadier.

His body was adapting.

His arms felt stronger.

His eyes became sharper.

The more he attacked, the stronger he became.

Victor noticed.

His eyes narrowed.

"So that is the power of the bow."

Ethan heard him.

Victor smiled.

"Interesting."

He raised his hand.

The players suddenly changed formation.

They stopped attacking Ethan directly.

Instead, they surrounded Ryan, Clara and Lucas.

Ethan's expression changed.

"Get away from them!"

He fired.

One enemy fell.

Another moved forward.

Ethan fired again.

But Victor's men were no longer fighting carelessly.

They were working together.

Ryan raised his shield.

A sword struck him.

He blocked it.

Another sword struck.

He blocked again.

Then a spear pierced his side.

Ryan looked down.

Blood covered his clothes.

"Ryan!"

Clara screamed.

Ryan fell to one knee.

"I am fine."

He forced himself up.

"I am fine, Clara." He raised his shield again.

Ethan's face changed.

He fired three arrows in quick succession.

Three enemies fell.

[Maximum HP increased.]

[Maximum HP increased.]

[Maximum HP increased.]

Ethan rushed toward Ryan. But Victor stepped into his path.

"You are not going anywhere."

Ethan raised his bow.

Victor moved faster.

His sword struck Ethan's chest.

Ethan was thrown backward.

He crashed into a tree.

[HP: 211.]

Pain filled his body.

Victor walked toward him.

"You are talented."

Ethan slowly stood.

"But you are still weak."

Victor attacked again.

Ethan dodged. He fired.

Victor moved aside. The arrow passed his shoulder.

Ethan fired again, Victor blocked it with his sword.

"Your arrows are strong."

Victor looked at the Moonfall Bow.

"That weapon is the reason I am giving you one chance."

"Give it to me, and I may let you live."

Ethan laughed quietly.

"You really believe I would trust you?"

Victor's face became cold.

"No."

He looked toward Ryan.

"Then watch your friend die."

Ethan's eyes widened.

Victor turned.

Ryan was surrounded.

Clara was trying to reach him.

Lucas was fighting three players at once.

Ryan lifted his shield.

He was barely standing.

Victor's strongest player stepped behind him.

Ryan turned too late.

The sword entered his back.

His eyes widened.

"Ryan!"

Ethan screamed.

Ryan dropped his shield. Clara ran toward him.

"Ryan!" She caught him before he hit the ground.

Blood flowed from his mouth.

His eyes slowly moved toward Ethan.

"I am sorry."

Ethan froze.

Ryan smiled weakly.

"I wanted to help you."

"You did."

Ethan's voice broke.

Ryan shook his head.

"No."

His breathing became weaker.

"I wanted us to survive together."

Clara cried.

"Stay with us."

Ryan looked at her.

"Don't cry."

His eyes returned to Ethan.

"You were right."

Ethan's fists tightened.

"About what?"

Ryan smiled.

"We have to keep moving."

His eyes slowly closed.

His body became still.

"Ryan!"

Ethan's scream sounded through the forest.

The world seemed to stop. For a few seconds, he heard nothing.

No players, trees and no wind Only Ryan's last words.

Ethan had seen this before.

In another life. But this time, it hurt even more.

Because he had tried to change it. He had thought his rebirth would allow him to save everyone.

He had believed he could change fate.

But Ryan was dead again. Ethan slowly looked at Victor.

His eyes were no longer calm.

They were filled with cold anger.

"You."

Victor smiled.

"You should have handed over the bow."

Ethan raised the Moonfall Bow.

"You killed him."

Victor shrugged.

"He was weak."

Something inside Ethan broke.

He pulled the string.

The Moonfall Bow began to glow.

The air around him shook.

A silver arrow appeared.

Victor's expression changed.

"Everyone move!" Ethan released it.

The arrow crossed the forest. Victor barely moved aside.

The arrow struck one of his strongest players.

The player fell instantly.

[Critical hit.]

[Maximum HP increased.]

[True damage activated.]

Ethan attacked again, Another arrow.

Another enemy fell. His health increased.

AEvery attack made him stronger.

The players began to panic.

"He is getting stronger!"

"Do not let him attack!"

"Kill him!" They rushed toward Ethan.

Clara stood beside Ryan's body.

Tears covered her face. Lucas moved in front of her.

"Clara, move!"

"I can't leave him."

"We have to!" Lucas grabbed her arm.

A sword struck him, Lucas screamed.

Blood poured from his shoulder.

He pushed the attacker away.

"Run!"

Clara raised her staff.

A blast of magic struck the ground.

Several players were thrown back.

But more came.

Ethan fired again.

His health continued rising.

[Maximum HP: 1,020.]

Ethan looked at the number.

He smiled.

His talent was awakening.

But Victor had finally become serious.

A dark energy gathered around his sword.

"Ethan Blackwood."

Victor's voice became cold.

"You have become too dangerous."

He disappeared, Ethan's eyes widened.

Victor appeared directly in front of him.

The sword entered Ethan's stomach.

Ethan looked down.

Blood covered the blade. Victor pulled the sword out.

Ethan fell backward.

[HP: 0.]

[Warning.]

[Player health has reached zero.]

[Activating Eternal Recovery.]

Ethan's body remained on the ground.

His vision blurred.

He heard Clara screaming.

He heard Lucas shouting.

He heard players fighting.

But everything sounded far away.

Victor stood over him.

"This is the end."

Ethan could not move, His body was cold.

The Eternal Recovery had started.

Three seconds. That was all he had.

But then something strange happened.

The sky changed. Victor looked upward.

Everyone stopped fighting. A strange sound came from above.

Crack, The sky split.

A massive crack appeared across the blue sky.

Players stared upward.

"What is that?" Another crack appeared.

Then another. Ethan's eyes slowly opened.

He could see something beyond the broken sky.

Not the forest, nor the game.

A city. A real city, People were running through streets.

Cars were crashing.

Buildings were shaking. A monster appeared in the middle of a road.

People screamed, Ethan's heart stopped.

He knew that place.

It was not part of World of Legends.

It was Earth, His old world.

Another crack spread across the sky.

A building collapsed, Then another.

Sirens filled the streets, People ran in every direction.

News screens flashed across buildings, Emergency messages appeared.

"Unknown creatures have appeared in several cities."

"Military forces are being deployed."

"All citizens are ordered to remain indoors."

Then the messages changed.

"Communication systems are failing."

"Multiple cities have lost power."

"Governments are requesting emergency support."

Ethan stared, His breathing became weak.

"No."

He knew this, He had seen it before.

But it had happened after ten years.

Not now.

Not this early, The disaster was coming.

Only this time, it was worse.

The game was no longer separated from reality.

The boundary was breaking.

Seraphina's words returned to Ethan's mind.

The system did not create this world. It inherited it.

A strange light covered the sky. Players screamed.

"Log out!"

"I can't!"

"My logout button is gone!"

"What's happening?" Ethan's eyes widened.

He tried to open the system.

Nothing happened. The interface flickered.

Then a message appeared.

[System connection unstable.]

[World boundary collapsing.]

[Game world and physical world synchronization beginning.]

Ethan's heart sank, The same disaster.

The same end.

But earlier.

Much earlier.

The forest disappeared behind a wave of light.

Buildings appeared among the trees, Roads appeared through the grass.

Monsters walked between real people.

Cars crashed into trees. Players appeared in the streets.

Real people appeared inside the game world.

Everything was becoming one, World of Legends was no longer a game.

Earth was no longer the same Earth.

The two worlds had merged, Victor looked around in shock.

"What is happening?" No one answered.

A huge monster appeared behind him.

Victor turned, His face changed.

The creature roared. Victor raised his sword.

Ethan could barely see.

His Eternal Recovery was almost over.

Three seconds. His body should have recovered.

But something was wrong. The system flickered again.

[Critical system failure.]

[Reality connection lost.]

[World synchronization: 47 percent.]

Ethan's eyes widened.

"Forty seven?" The number changed.

58 percent. 67 percent.

78 percent. The sky became darker.

The earth shook harder. People were screaming everywhere.

Ethan had believed his rebirth had given him time.

He was wrong. The disaster had arrived much earlier.

And it was already worse.

Ethan tried to move, His body refused.

Blood covered his clothes, His health remained at zero.

The Eternal Recovery ended.

[Recovery failed.]

[Player remains at zero HP.]

Ethan stared at the message, Then another appeared.

[Warning.]

[World of Legends has entered reality.]

[Reality has entered World of Legends.]

[Boundary collapse complete.]

The final message appeared.

[Welcome to the New World.]

Ethan's eyes slowly closed. He could hear Clara crying.

He could hear Lucas calling his name,  Victor shouting orders.

His final thought was simple. I failed to stop it.

A tear moved down his face, Then his body became still.
