He allocated the points to strength and agility, adding ten points to agility and five to strength.

As Eagan continued to look through his gains from the test, another piece of information popped up.

[A class enhancement trial to move to the next stage.]

[Based on your current stats, it is recommended that you choose the warrior class.] The system recommended.

Eagan considered his options, weighing the benefits of each class. Of course, with his proficiency from his past life, being a warrior who would later develop into a swordsman would be the best choice for him.

However, given the knowledge he already had, there was no need to choose the warrior class.

"Should I choose Paladin?" He mused. "Healers are rare, so being a Paladin would really benefit me both now and in the future."

Eagan thought about his past life experiences and the current game dynamics. Being a Paladin would offer unique advantages.

"Paladins are rare, and their support capabilities are invaluable," he reasoned. "With my existing knowledge, I can adapt to the Paladin's play style easily. But the problem now is that I do not have mana."

"Well, I guess I'll have to work harder to open my mana blockage." He muttered and selected the Paladin class.

A knock on the door pulled Eagan out of his mental space in time to see Alastair walk into his room with a glass of warm milk.

It was a tradition between them since Eagan could remember. Whenever Alastair comes home from his raid, he'll bring Eagan warm milk to drink before going to bed.

"I came in the other time, but you were in the shower," Alastair explained as he handed Eagan a cup of milk. "How was it?" He asked and took a seat on Eagan's bed. "Your first day in a dungeon, how do you feel?"

Eagan paused at the question, his eyes concentrated on the cup of milk in his hand.

He remembered Alastair had asked him this particular question in his past life. And back then he replied, 'I don't want to go in there anymore.'

And being the fitting older brother that he is, Alastair had made sure he never stepped into the dungeon until he died.

Feeling the warmth of the milk seeping into his palm, Eagan smiled and cleared his mind from the bothersome events of his past life.

Smiling, he took a sip of the milk and replied. "I like it. It feels like another world on its own." He confessed, and Alan hummed happily.

Alastair's eyes sparkled with delight, his expression warm. "That's the spirit, brother! I knew you'd find your place in this world."

Eagan took another sip of the milk, feeling a sense of comfort wash over him. This moment, with Alastair by his side, was a difference in his previous life.

The room fell into a comfortable silence as the brothers got lost in their thoughts. Alastair's eyes flickered towards Eagan, lingering for a moment before he looked away.

"What's bothering you?" Eagan asked as he noticed Alastair's behaviour.

"I'm sorry," Alastair breathed out. "I've been so busy with other things to realise how much you've grown."

"I'm sure Mum would have slapped me on the back if she knew I didn't even know you had talent with the sword."

"I have failed as an older brother, and I'm sorry," he apologised.

Eagan's expression softened, his voice gentle. "You didn't fail, Alastair. You've always been there for me; you've always looked out for me."

'You remained entrapped under Thane's hold until the last moment just so I could live a more comfortable life in my past,' he added in his thoughts. 'I owe you a lot, and I promise to pay back in this life.'

Alastair's eyes misted, his voice cracking. "But I should have been more present, more supportive. I was so caught up in my work."

Eagan set the milk aside and flipped Alan's forehead with a smile. "You're doing great. I wouldn't ask for another brother."

"Thanks, Eagan," Alastair replied as he regained his momentum. "Alright, since you already have the skills, I asked Thane to leave some E-rank dungeon rights to me."

"As an S rank hunter, I can have dungeon rights from the association, but I never used them, so I'm cashing out on the rights to have you train more through experience."

"Thanks, Alastair," Eagan said, gratitude filling his heart."This means a lot to me."

Alastair smiled, his eyes warm. "You're my brother, Eagan. I'll always support you."

Alastair stood up and patted Eagan's back. "For now, there is a C-rank dungeon I'm going to raid tomorrow; would you like to join me?"

Hell yeah!
