There was a flicker in Alberu's eyes upon seeing the sand that Zhi Ruo was conjuring up. He could only watch helplessly with his hands up.

As the sand crowded around Alberu's sheild, Zhi Ruo didn't try and make the sand slither unto the cracks. But rather, she merely did it so that it looks like it was hovering over the shield that Alberu put up.
