Gasps and whispers echoed through the atmosphere. Many had their jaw dropped in disbelief.The weight of those words hit him like a thunderstorm; Nathan felt his knees giving up. This was more than humiliation. It was pain; he felt his world crumbling before him.There was a moment of silence, no one moved nor dared to utter a word.
