Return Of The Ultimate Young Master

Chapter 1

The library was quite quiet. Not many people came to visit. There were only a few young men reading books in the corner of the room. 

One of the young men approached the librarian to return a book. The librarian smiled kindly. "As usual, you finished it very quickly."

Lucas smiled slightly and shook his head.  "It's not that. I'm just taking advantage of the free time." 

"Not many people can utilize time like you." 

Lucas chuckled, but he kept his mouth shut, realizing his mistake. How could he forget the no-noise rule in the library?  Librarian Thom also gave him a sharp look, but an instant later, it turned into a smile. He couldn't be red at the young man who had always filled one seat for a few years. 

"Well, what book would you like to borrow again?" 

Lucas relaxed his shoulders. He had no idea about the book he wanted to borrow yet. "I don't know, maybe I'll come back here after class. Thank you, Librarian Thom." 

Librarian Thom nodded with a smile. He was the librarian of University Saffaro, where Lucas was studying. 

Lucas turned around and left the library. As he stepped outside, he saw two young men walking with agitated steps. 

One of the young men approached Lucas and tapped him on the shoulder. "I knew you'd be here!" 

Lucas put his index finger before his lips, signaling Adam to be quiet. 

Adam nodded and realized his mistake. 

"Oops, sorry."

Lucas nodded. He became curious instantly. "What's wrong?" 

"Geez, Lucas, you forgot, the food discount time in the cafeteria is only fifteen minutes away!" 

Lucas looked at his left wrist, it was now 12:47, and the food discount in the cafeteria would end at 13:00. If he wanted to get food at a cheaper price, he had to go soon. 

"I forgot, I forgot!" Lucas tapped his forehead. 

"I knew it. You must have forgotten!" Ryan said. 

The three of them rushed to the cafeteria. The three of them walked with hurried steps because the cafeteria was quite far from the library. 

When they were almost there, they saw a crowd of people gathering. Many students were also walking towards the crowd with curious faces.  

"I heard Mike is confessing his love to Elena." 

One of the students nodded. "Yeah, I heard that too." 

"Mike is a rich young master. No wonder he got such a beautiful girl as Elena." 

"Elena is a lucky girl, with her beauty, she can get Mike."

Hearing whispers from people walking past made Lucas curious.  Finally, he stopped one person. He gripped the student's arm.

"What are you saying? Mike likes Elena?" 

The person shrugged. "I don't know for sure. Just look if you're curious." 

Lucas released his grip. "Thank you." 

There was something strange running through Lucas's heart. He felt angry and curious at the same time. However, his anger felt more dominant. 

Lucas walked away from Adam and Ryan. The two people walked away with confused faces. They compactly held Lucas's right and left arms. "Why, what's wrong? You don't want to buy discounted food?" 

"I'm not coming, you guys." Lucas's expression hardened. He looked very angry at the moment. Adam and Keanu, who had never seen Lucas's redness, were quite surprised. 

Lucas was about to take a step, but Adam stopped him. "Why? Tell us if you have a problem." 

"There is no problem." Lucas released the grip of Adam' hand on her arm. His expression became calmer than before. "I just want to leave." 

"But ...."

Before Adam could finish his sentence, Lucas had left them. He walked towards the crowd with his heart pounding. Elena was his girlfriend, the woman he had been in a relationship with for the past three months. 

Before they started dating, Lucas helped Elena several times. That made their relationship even closer. They often did assignments together, though most of them were completed by Lucas. 

Three months ago, Lucas declared his love for Elena. The girl did not reject him. She accepted him but on the condition that the relationship was not publicized. As a woman with a lot of fans, if any fans found out about their relationship, there would be a lot of people attacking Lucas because he wasn't a rich young man. Although handsome and accomplished, the young man's background is quite poor. She attended this university on a scholarship and worked part-time in several places.

Lucas could only say yes and take the relationship in silence even though he was eager to tell everyone about his status as Elena's boyfriend. 

Before long, Lucas had reached the crowd. He pushed through the crowd and walked to the front of the line.

"What's wrong? Just get annoyed!" 

Some people grumbled at Lucas's presence, but the young man ignored them. The closer he got to Elena, the faster his heartbeat.

Finally, he arrived at the center of the crowd. There he saw Elena, who looked shy in front of Mike. His face was even redder. 

Lucas's gaze shifted to a red Ferrari parked near the center of the crowd. Even though it wasn't a special edition, Lucas knew that this car cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

The hope in his heart suddenly dimmed. He once again looked at Elena. He saw that the woman wearing a simple dress was smiling sweetly at Mike. Although the makeup on his face was simple, it did not diminish her beauty but rather accentuated her elegance. 

Mike was holding a large bouquet of red roses. The bouquet looked very large. The red color on her petals seemed so intense. 

"Oh my! Aren't those roses imported from Prague? I heard that a single stem costs tens of dollars. Geez, how much money did Mike spend on that?" 

"I saw about a hundred and fifty flowers." One of the students commented. 

"Did you count them?" the first person asked. 

The woman shook her head. "I work part-time at a flower shop. Judging by the size of the bouquet, there are at least 150 roses, if not more." 

The person who heard it could only swallow his saliva rudely. Spending thousands of dollars just to declare love, Mike was no ordinary person. 

"Geez, yesterday I saw Mike in a Porsche, now a Ferrari. How many sports cars does he have?" 

Mike is the son of a rich family. Although he was not the first son, he always received blessings from his father and brother, who always spoiled him. What he wants, that's what he gets. 

Meanwhile, Mike knelt with one foot on the ground, raised his hand, and handed over the bouquet of roses. "Elena, I love you. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" 

Elena looked shy when she heard Mike's words. She looked down with a red face. 

On the other hand, Lucas was wringing her hands. He wanted to shout and interrupt them, but he also wanted to hear Elena's answer. 

"I will."
