Keith looked at the guards and waved his hand signaling them to stop bowing to him, he was doing this while trying to ignore the fact that Jared had a pistol ready to fire him. “You better have an explanation for why you are late, I have been waiting here and you were busy having a joy ride.”

Keith had a stern look on his face, he was not looking like a wimp anymore but he was looking like some kind of angry man that needed help with something.

“We are so sorry sir, we didn't get the address that Mr. Marx gave us. We apologize from our hearts, sir.” One of the guards said, trying to bow his head, Jared was looking at everything unfolding in front of him and it was like none of it was real.

Eleanor was still trying to put one and one together knowing there was no way on earth Keith would have the money to afford all this. “What in the world is going on? Keith is a nobody and he will never be able to have all this.” Eleanor was trying to understand what was going on, she saw that Keith was being respected like some boss.

“How dare you ignore me?! Do you know who my father is? I will make sure that you all are jailed but before that, I will make sure you fight for your wretched life.” Jared was about to pull the trigger, but the guards in front of Keith reacted quickly.

They kicked the gun off his hand before he was able to pull the trigger, Jared was not given enough time to think of the next move he was knocked down to the floor with a blinding move.

“How dare you try to shoot our master? You will be punished for this, and the only way to punish a lowlife like you is death!” The guard held Jared down trying to choke him, Eleanor couldn't do anything but cry for help but nobody seemed to be coming to help.

“That is enough, let him go,” Keith ordered, his voice was stern and calm, it was like he was trying his best not to let them hurt Jared.

“But sir, he tried to shoot you. How can we let such a vile human live? Someone who will try to shoot them,”

“I told you to let him go, do I need to repeat myself.” Keith sounded cold, and his demeanor changed. The guards released Jared without uttering a single word.

“See this as mercy, but know this if I ever cross paths with you again it might not be nice,” Keith said before turning away, he and the guards walked to the car and they rushed to open the door for him.

The car then zoomed off leaving Eleanor and Jared in dismay as they watched the car zoom off.

“Why did it take you so long to find where I was? Isn't this house known in this district or do you have an excuse why you didn't find me earlier?”

Keith was not happy that the car came late, he was not prepared to face Jared or his guards regardless.

“We are sorry sir, we found you late because we weren't familiar with that side of town.” The guard was trying to make sure that he didn't incur Keith's anger.

“Hmm, Marx better have some explaining to do. By the way, where is Marx? he was the one meant to pick me up.” Keith was still angry but he was trying not to show it.

“Sir Marx went to take care of something in the Northern district, he sent us because he trusted that the both of us would be able to take you to the Phoenix Spring Hotel without any problems.” The guard replied quickly.

Keith made himself comfortable on the seat, he didn't need anything that would strain him that much.

‘What a day,’ Keith thought to himself as the car kept increasing in speed.

Back at the Kendrick family mansion, Jared was being treated. “How dare he?! Why in the world would be try to do such a thing to me?” Jared was still infuriated, he knew there was no way he could have thought someone like Keith would lay a finger on him.

“Calm down Jared please, I know he doesn't know any better. He just hired some actors to make sure that he acted all big and tough.” Eleanor tried to console Jared, she knew he was planning to do something.

“I can't believe that brute would dare lay a finger on you. He doesn't know that he just put his hands into the fire.”Sandra scoffed as she helped apply lotion to Jared's wounds.

Jared was trying to keep his anger at bay but it was not working, he was not going to let Keith go free after he touched him.

“I will make sure that my father hears of this, Keith Norman will pay with his blood,” Jared swore in anger,  and the entire room went silent.

‘I wonder what got into him, I know Keith as a simple man but I have never seen him act like a brute before.’ Eleanor was still trying to find out what happened in front of her earlier.

Keith and his men got to Phoenix Spring Hotel, it was a luxurious Hotel filled with people of greater class and higher ranks. A night there cost at least a million dollars, Keith looked around and scoffed.

“This is where all the city's filthiest and most important men come to dine, I wonder if I am going to be noticed.” Keith looked around, he was not interested in the hotel but he was trying to see what made it such a nice place.

“Lord Keith, we are going to finalize things with the receptionist, please stay close by so we can help you to your room.” The guard bowed his head, and Keith nodded.

The two guards entered the hotel to talk to the receptionist about the hotel room, Keith on the other hand stood there looking at the Hotel.

“I am not impressed, these people just come here to waste their money, is this really what Eleanor left me for? How pathetic,”

Keith was about to head inside the hotel when something caught his eye, he looked up to see there was a group of men trying to force a girl inside a black SUV.

“Now this is interesting, I wonder what is going on there?” Keith turned to that direction and began walking towards them.

He had a stern look on his face, he needed to know what was happening to the girl. Keith got closer to hear what they were saying, it was like she was being kidnapped.

“Get in the car! This is no longer a request but an order, the master wants you.” One of the men said as he tried to force the girl into the car, he was having a hard time doing so.

“Let go of me, I don't want to go anywhere with you and you can tell your master to go to hell.” The girl fought back, she was trying to break free, she looked at the man's hand and bit him.

“Why you vile bitch! I am gonna,”

“I think that is enough,” Keith slowly walked up to the struggle. Keith looked at the men trying to see if any of them had a lethal weapon.

“What in the world? What is this disgusting-looking shrimp doing here? I know I am not meant to laugh at people like this but this man looks like a  freaking retard.”

The men all giggled a bit, Keith didn't even look at them like they were relevant. He stood in front of them like he was ready to fight them.

“I don't want to repeat myself, so let her go and I won't hurt you all.”

Keith and Marx had made their way from MetroVille to the borders of the Dragon Valley. A thought kept going through their heads, and they were bound to get something done. Keith knew what was going on and what he would need to do, but he could not get the thought out of his head. He was bound to see everything and how it was going to pan out with their head down in a crack. Marx knew it wasn’t going to be easy for anyone to get their head through what was going to happen. “Are you going to be able to do this?” He asked, looking at Keith and the way he was moving in the car but there wasn’t going to be a chance for anything to come easy. Keith turned back, his eyes slowly closing trying to look into what Marx was trying to say. “What are you saying?” Keith asked, looking at his partner, but there wasn’t a chance for him to see what was going on in his head. “So if you face him, then there is a chance that you will have to…” “I know what I must do to make sure that nothing is g

“Even if you don’t believe it, he is the Lord of the Dragon Valley, he’s the only one meant to sit on that throne…” The grand elder was looking at Kylian’s men, trying to make sure that there was no way for him to get even close to the throne. “You’re wasting your time, old timer,” one of the men smiled, moving closer to the grandmaster with a smile on his face. “I know you think there is going to be a chance for him to get what he wants, but he isn’t ever going to take that Throne again!” There was a roar; Kylian's men were jeering, knowing that there was no way for them to get something down. “You’re trying to tell me that Keith will come back here and try to take this throne?” He turned to look at the Grandmaster with a smirk on his face, moving closer, he could look him in the eye. “You’re still on a different plane, and I would want you to understand something important, even if it was a joke; there is no way for him to even think of taking this place down.” The man turned

Noelle was trying to keep her mind off everything. It was not going to be easy for her to even imagine Keith being away for that long, and she knew what was going to happen next. ‘They won't waste time coming for me, and there is no way I would be able to fight them back alone.’ She wasn't trying to keep the fact that Helena was going to try something, and he knew it wasn't going to be easy for her without Keith around, but she knew things weren't going to be all hard. “I will just have to look for a way to get through all of this and not let them get into my head.” She said, standing up to move to the door of her office, but when she got there, she felt something off. It was almost like there was someone there, trying to shake it off. She needed to know what was going on. She opened her office door, but there was no one there, but everything was still odd, and she could feel like there was someone there. Looking down, she saw an envelope; she knew what was going on and that it

Keith had made his arrangements; they were not going to waste time there in Metroville for another week, knowing that something was happening back at the Valley that needed his attention, but then he was also not going to be able to handle things there without someone being able to help him take care of Noelle. “Marx, are you sure there is no—” “Dont think of dropping me here, I am not going to have it, and I would love to let you know that nothing is going to make me even think of letting you handle whatever is happening down at home alone.” Marx made himself clear, and he wasn't going to be saying it over again for anyone to hear, but then he wasn't going to be wasting time there. “The Dragon Valley needs you to be back home. Kylian isn't going to be giving you an easy time. You shouldn't just think that something is going to come from all this as a normal way for you to even think of surviving.” Keith knew that Marx wasn't lying when he said that, but there was something else

Keith was trying to get his head together before he would get to tell Noelle what he was going to be doing. He knew that there was no time for him to be hiding things from the woman he was going to be spending his life with, and he knew the damage it would do if he was not careful. He wasn't about to be playing games that would hurt her, and he wasn't about to spend his time trying to make up for something that wasn't meant to be there. He needed to know what he was about to do, walking straight to the room where Noelle had taken in the Phoenix Spring Hotel. He knocked on the door twice, trying to see if he would get her to respond. "Come in," she responded. Keith smiled as he opened the door, and he saw her standing by the window looking down, and the look on her face was a bit different from what he thought he was going to see. "Keith!" She sprang into his arms, and Keith didn’t waste time catching her. "You seem happy to see me, I didnt know you were expecting me like this." H

“So you’re telling me that returning to the Dragon Valley isn’t part of your plan yet?” Jacqueline was looking at Keith. He didn’t know what was going through his mind, knowing that he was trying to keep something from them, but then it was also not going to be easy for him to explain to them what he had on his mind. “It doesn’t look good, and we all know that Kylain isn’t going to let us rest until he makes sure that there is no way for us to come to the Dragon Valley and if he wants Lord Keith to come back home then you know he has something on his mind and he isn’t just going to let him walk away with it.” Marx knew that nothing was going to push back Kylain from trying to get them to be back where they wouldn’t have a choice but back down. Both of them knew how far it was going to get, and with the way things were heading, it was clear that one mistake would mean that they were going to lose their way. “So you’re saying that he’s one step ahead or that he doesn’t…” “He doesn’
