The call ended, and Damien slipped his phone back into his pocket. A gust of wind scattered a handful of leaves across the stone path.
Twenty minutes later, a Rolls-Royce Phantom Spirit Ultra stopped in front of Damien.
A man in a perfectly tailored suit emerged from the driver's side, his demeanor calm and polished.
“You must be Mr Damien. I’m sent by Miss Sophia.” He offered a respectful bow to Damien.
Damien nodded, without wasting more time, getting in the car immediately.
**
“The herbs are prepared. We should begin immediately.”
Dr. Kyle arranged his instruments on a silver tray.
Sophia watched the steam rise from the medicinal decoction, her heart started pounding.
“Wait.”
Her voice cracked slightly. “Please... just wait a moment.”
Upon hearing what Sophia just said Dr. Kyle hands stilled over his instruments.
“Miss Sophia,”
His tone carried decades of authority.
“Every minute we delay—”
“Never mind her, Dr. Kyle, please, begin the—” Mr Oliver frowned, urging the doctor to ignore Sophia and proceed with the procedure.
At that moment a voice interrupted them.
“Stop!”
The quiet command cut through the room.
Damien stood in the doorway, his presence carrying an inexplicable weight.
“This treatment,”
he stated, his eyes fixed on the herbs, “will trap your grandfather in eternal sleep. He will never wake.”
Upon hearing what Damien just said Dr Kyle’s eyes turned deadly immediately, he couldn't believe a random guy appearing from nowhere would dare write off his method of treatment.
Dr. Kyle's face flushed deep red. “You dare—!”
“ Who the hell are you? Guards!”
Mr. Oliver said and pointed at Damien.
“Remove him at once!”
“Father, no!”
Sophia rushed forward, placing herself between the guards and Damien.
“I invited him here for grandfather’s treatment.”
Immediately the room temperature seemed to drop several degrees.
Dr. Kyle straightened slowly, his distinguished features started darkening.
“Sophia!”
Her father stepped forward, his face flushed with anxiety.
“What are you thinking? Dr. Kyle has cleared his entire schedule for us, and it took the grace of Young Master Landon to make this possible and you—”
“This morning,”
she rushed to explain, pulling out the card Damien gave to her and faced her brother.
“Remember? Mr Damien precisely predicted Grandfather's symptoms?”
Sophia's fingers tightened around the card.
“We met him at Master Raymond's place. He knew exactly when Grandfather's condition would worsen. The timing, the symptoms... everything happened exactly as he predicted. Everything.”
At that moment Sophia's father's fingers tightened on his armrest, uncertainty flickering across his face.
At that moment Sophia's brother wouldn't keep calm.
“Father, she's being fooled! It was just a lucky guess, nothing more. That guy probably just wants to exploit some benefits from us.”
Dr. Kyle who has been trying to make sure the words didn't get to him, by measuring herbs with meticulous care.
However, hearing what Miss Sophia just said he suddenly looked up.
His eyes sparkled with poorly concealed excitement.
"Master Raymond, you say? He is coming?”
“No...”
Sophia's voice grew small.
“Just... just this young man we met at his place.”
They watched Dr. Kyle's enthusiasm drain away like water.
His lips pressed into a thin line as he adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses.
“It's disrespectful to think a random guy can do better than me. Really, Miss Sophia, this is beneath me and it's an insult.”
At that moment the silence grew heavy as Dr. Kyle set down his measuring spoon with deliberate precision.
“I must be frank. Either I proceed now, or I leave. Choose.”
Upon hearing what Dr Kyle just said,Mr. Oliver's face paled. His eyes darted between Damien and the renowned physician not wanting to take any chances he decided to agree.
“Please, dad,let him try…” Sophia begged her father, who finally sighed and nodded.
“You hold Master Raymond’s exclusive card,”
Damien voice carried a quiet edge, “I will honor his promise, that is the only reason I'm here”
“If we delay any longer, he will die.”
Damien stepped forward, his eyes scanning the patient’s symptoms. The swelling in the blood vessels, the icy frost-like patches on his skin—everything was progressing rapidly, exactly as he had predicted.
He could see the first signs of convulsions beginning to shake the man’s body, the heat radiating from his skin already climbing dangerously.
The ECG on the side showed that the patient's heartbeat was already very weak.
Without saying anything more, he took out the pills he had prepared and put them into the patient's mouth.
His hands traced patterns on the man’s skin that seemed to draw out the tension, the heat.
He applied steady pressure, targeting the critical points—the upper chest, the lower back, the area around the neck—places where the body’s energy converged.
As his fingers worked, he exhaled slowly, syncing with the rhythm of the body.
Two minutes later, the first signs of the convulsions halted.
Then the frosty skin patches slowly faded, the blood vessels retracting as the circulation began to normalize.
Within moments, the fever began to subside, the searing heat cooling beneath his touch. The patient's heart rate also returned to normal.
“Impossible...”
Dr. Kyle whispered, his medical bag falling forgotten from his hands.
“At sunrise tomorrow, he will wake, fully healed.”Damien said quietly, already turning to leave.

As the tense atmosphere lingered in the room even more, Dr.Elvis saw this as an opportunity to prove his worth towards serenity.Without wasting any more time he stepped forward, his calm demeanor and sharp eyes giving him an air of quiet authority. He glanced at Serenity, silently aligning himself with her stance, before addressing Sophia’s family directly.“I understand your hesitation,” Dr.Elvis began, his voice measured and deliberate. “You’re protecting someone who has done a great service for your family, and that’s commendable. But think about the opportunities you’re passing up.”Hearing what Dr.Elvis just said.Sophia’s father shifted uncomfortably, his hands clasped tightly in front of him. “Opportunities?” he asked cautiously, his voice betraying his unease.Immediately Elvis nodded. “If you reveal the identity of this mysterious healer, you wouldn’t just be helping Serenity achieve her goals—you’d also be securing a valuable ally for yourselves. Seeing what was happening Serenity watched the scene unfold from a distance, her sharp gaze fixed on Damien. She crossed her arms, her posture exuding quiet confidence, but internally, her thoughts were anything but neutral.“Here we go again,”she mused, her lips pressing into a faint smirk.“Always in the middle of something, always scheming.”She had seen enough of Damien to form her own conclusions. To her, he was nothing more than a cunning opportunist, someone who knew how to manipulate people, and situations to his advantage. The way he had navigated the Ryan's family and collected the exclusive card in the process only fueled her belief that he thrived on clever deceptions. And now, with Mr. Leo standing before him, Serenity couldn't help but scoff inwardly. Without being told she could tell he was up to something again, and from the look of things Mr. Leo is falling into his tricks. At that moment She observed Mr. Leo’s cautious demeanor, the way he seemed to tread lightly a
