$10,000 was an incredible offer. And once the offer was announced, the five guards became extremely excited. Even their salaries for the next year wouldn't reach $10,000. Of course, they weren't going to pass up this incredible opportunity.

They looked at each other with intimidating grins. "You don't need to worry, we can make it easy for you."

Without thinking, all the guards immediately surrounded Daniel. They did as Billy had instructed, delivering a barrage of blows simultaneously.

This left Daniel unable to control himself. He fell as the five men attacked him simultaneously. They pushed and kicked him simultaneously, knocking him off balance, causing him to fall. This only made them attack him even more brutally.

A few minutes later, they grabbed Daniel's body and quickly tied him up like madmen.

Meanwhile, Lyla took the opportunity to help Billy up. She quickly handed him a towel and wrapped it around his naked body.

"Honey, are you okay?" The woman looked utterly panicked. She examined Daniel's entire body, noticing numerous wounds. This made her extremely angry. "That damn man needs to learn a lesson."

Meanwhile, the five men stared at Daniel with satisfaction. They considered him a gold mine. The $10,000 offered had blinded them. They would never pass up a good opportunity to make a lot of money. So, they didn't have the slightest bit of pity for the pathetic Daniel.

Meanwhile, Billy wiped the still-drying blood from his nose. He realized it wasn't his face that was injured, but almost his entire body was covered in bruises and bruises. The man couldn't help but stare at Daniel with hatred. This time, the man who had just brutally beaten him was now tied up and helpless.

His chest heaved with erratic breathing. "You…"

"Who do you think you are? How dare you defile my body with your touch? You're nothing more than a loser." Billy exhaled angrily. "I won't forgive you, damn it."

“Have you forgotten who I am? I could destroy you right now!” he slapped his chest hard.

This seemed like an insult to Billy. And he wouldn’t let it go. He swore he would get even.

Billy got closer, lifting his leg and stomping on Daniel’s body with his foot. “Come on, get up and fight me? Do you think you’re still that strong?” He laughed loudly for a moment, but the next second, his gaze grew even more menacing. “Why are you just staring at me? Can’t you free yourself?” He stomped mercilessly on Daniel’s chest again.

Billy’s anger made his chest rise and fall irregularly. He kicked Daniel’s bound body again.

“Do you think I’ll stop here? I’ll make you regret everything!” he shouted angrily at Daniel.

Lyla walked over, gently caressing Billy’s body. “Honey, why don’t you just ask your father to fire him?” Lyla provoked him.

The man grinned evilly. “That’s a good idea. Of course he’ll be fired soon. He won’t get a job anywhere.”

Daniel stared at him with a blank expression. He knew what Billy was about to do.

As expected, Billy actually pulled out his phone.

“Dad, do you know a man named Daniel Johnson? He works in construction. I want you to fire him. Make sure he never gets a job anywhere.” His eyes remained fixed on Daniel.

Daniel clenched his fists. He knew that if Billy's request was granted by his superior, he would be jobless from now on.

"Oh, thank you, Dad." His voice was accompanied by a satisfied smile.

A few seconds later, Daniel's cell phone rang. Billy immediately took it and put it to his ear. Daniel glanced at it; it was his foreman.

Before he could say anything, a distinctive voice rang out. "You've caused trouble for Mr. Billy. What were you thinking? Now, you can't work here anymore."

"You idiot." The foreman cursed before finally ending the call.

Daniel stared intently at Lyla. That woman was the cause of all this. He hadn't just lost his job. He'd spent all his savings. He had nothing left. Who knew what she would say to his grandparents.

Billy bent down slightly, staring at Daniel from a very close distance. "You should never have messed with me. The consequences would have been dire." He smiled happily.

Daniel stared at him with a vengeful gaze. Meanwhile, the five men immediately untied the ropes binding him after receiving Billy's order.

Indeed, Daniel wanted to defend himself. But he knew no one would listen. They were the ones in power.

He could now see Lyla, nestled in Billy's arms affectionately.

"Goodbye, loser. Enjoy your life as trash. After this, you'll soon be among the trash." Lyla couldn't hold back her laughter and deliberately stepped on the bag with one foot.

This was incredibly painful for Daniel. He didn't say anything as he watched Lyla passionately accept Billy's kiss.

For a moment, Daniel was stunned by this. He almost couldn't believe it. Not only was it over, but it was incredibly painful. Daniel immediately turned and left with a cold expression.

Daniel stepped out of the apartment, vowing never to set foot there again. He tried to suppress his anger in his slow steps. Every now and then, he sighed and continued walking.

Daniel walked aimlessly. He thought about his grandparents. "What will I tell them?"

Daniel let out a frustrated sigh. He continued walking down the night street.

He stopped, immediately sat down in the chair, and cursed his fate again.

He had always loved Lyla, doing everything she wanted. But before he could think clearly, a metallic black car stopped in front of him.

Daniel stopped in his tracks and watched as a man in his late 50s, dressed in a black suit and sunglasses, got out of the car.

Several other people who had just gotten out of other cars bowed, greeting the man as if he were royalty.

However, something was odd about it. The elderly man walked up to Daniel and gave him his signature smile.

The man extended his hand. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Daniel."
