Daniel couldn't hide his shock. He'd previously thought someone was going to kidnap him and disappear. But this was far from what he'd expected.

Daniel's gaze couldn't leave Jordan. He couldn't even form a single word.

Jordan's words still echoed clearly. Jordan wanted to make him his heir.

"This is impossible. This is impossible," Daniel whispered in his mind.

Before his shock completely subsided, Jordan took something from his pocket. He handed it to Daniel.

"Take this." Jordan held out his hand. He showed Daniel a black card.

"What's this?" Daniel frowned. He paused, but didn't immediately take the black card.

"This is your personal account card. From now on, it's yours. You can use it for anything. This card will eliminate your financial problems." Jordan reached for Daniel's hand across the table and placed the black card in his hand. "This card can hold a maximum of $5 billion."

Once again, Daniel nearly dropped his jaw. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He'd never even seen $100,000 in his life, and now, his grandfather was giving him a black card with such a fantastic amount of money.

His grandfather's voice kept ringing in his head. "$5 billion?" He repeated Jordan's words, stuttering. "Are you kidding me, giving me this card?"

He shook his head. "No. I don't think I can use this card. I can't accept it." Daniel wanted to give the black card back to Jordan, thinking he didn't deserve it.

But Jordan gently pushed his hand away. "Didn't I say it was yours?"

"You're my grandson. Not just this card, but the whole thing will be yours," Jordan assured him. "Think of it as a welcome gift for returning after 20 years."

"But this is so much. Why would I use that much money? It's too much." Daniel acted completely innocent.

Jordan smiled at Daniel's reaction. “This is nothing. Once you become heir, the entire Johnson family fortune will be yours.”

“Become heir?” Daniel repeated the word. He thought it was too much and unreasonable.

But Jordan nodded without hesitation. “Yes, and Adam will guide you. Before you actually become heir, you will be thoroughly prepared. And once you graduate, the announcement regarding the heir will be made immediately.”

Daniel was at a loss for words. This situation completely confused him. At times, he wondered if this was just a fantasy or a dream. It felt so strange, how could his life change so drastically overnight?

He had just lost his girlfriend and his job. He had also been worrying about living with his grandparents, but this time, a miracle had befallen him. Daniel could even say he was on the verge of unimaginable wealth.

Daniel wasn't just sitting across from the richest man in the world. He was his grandson.

Daniel stared at the black card in his hand. He began to imagine what he would do with the black card. And not only that, after everyone graduated, he would be a ruler.

This was incredible.

Before he could say anything to Jordan and Adam, Daniel's phone suddenly rang.

He picked it up and saw it was Lucas. "Why is he calling at this hour?"

Daniel answered the phone. "Hi Lucas. What's wrong?"

"I don't know where you went at this time of night. Something happened at your house. Your grandma and grandpa…" Lucas said in a panicked voice.

Daniel became extremely worried. "Grandpa, grandma? What happened to them?" He rose from the chair, his face pale.

His heart was pounding. He was truly afraid that something bad had happened to his grandma and grandpa.

"Some people came and destroyed your house. Come back quickly. I don't know who they are. But they're still doing it mercilessly. They even injured your grandpa."

The worry was mixed with anger. As for his grandparents, Daniel didn't have to think long. "I'll be there soon."

Without saying a word to anyone, Daniel ran toward the door. His worry prevented him from looking at Jordan and Adam. He had even forgotten about the discussion of the soon-to-be heir. This time, the most important thing was his grandparents.

Although he didn't know for sure, Daniel was certain they might have been Billy's hired men to disrupt his grandparents' peace. "I won't forgive him."

Meanwhile, Jordan also rose from his chair. Although he didn't know for sure what had happened, he was certain that something bad had happened to his grandson. However, he wouldn't turn a blind eye to the people who had cared for him all this time.

"Adam, make sure everything is okay. Bring the guards and escort Daniel back," Jordan ordered.

Adam, who was beside his master, immediately bowed respectfully. "Of course, Grand Master. I will do it."

As his master instructed, Adam quickly followed Daniel.

Daniel continued running toward the main door. He knew when he would arrive. But all he could think about was getting there quickly, or something bad would really happen to his grandparents.

Daniel knew who Billy was; he didn't have the slightest feeling for anyone. He hoped his grandparents were okay.

"Young master, wait."

Daniel stopped in his tracks, turned around, and saw Adam following him.

"I'll go with you. And I'll help you," Adam said politely.

Daniel shook his head. He wasn't used to bothering anyone in his life.

"You don't need to think too much. You can't afford to waste too much time on your grandparents."

After considering it, Daniel decided Adam was right. He nodded quickly. He didn't want to risk his grandparents' safety. He had to get back quickly. "Okay."

"Come with me." Adam bowed before leading Daniel to the side yard. There, he discovered a large area, which was none other than the garage.

Once again, Daniel could barely contain his surprise. It wasn't just one or two cars. But more than twenty luxury cars were parked there. Rolls-Royces, Lamborghinis, Bugatti Chirons, and many other luxury cars were parked there.

Although he didn't know for sure, Daniel knew all of them were worth over 3 million dollars.

"This is incredible. Are all of these Mr. Jordan's?" He bit his lip. "I mean, are all of these my grandfather's?" He revised his words.

Adam nodded his head with a smile. "These aren't just Lord Jordan's, they're all yours."

Adam looked at Daniel. "Please choose the car you want. We'll take you in that car."

Daniel glanced at all the cars, until his choice fell on one in the back row. "I want to use that."

Adam frowned. "Are you sure?"

"Yes." Daniel nodded his head.

Meanwhile, Adam found it strange. Of all the luxurious cars in the car, how could his master choose only the cheapest one here?

In truth, Daniel simply didn't want to show off what he had right now; all he was thinking about was how to get back quickly.

A few moments later, the car had brought Daniel almost to his house.

“Stop here. Don't come in until I ask you to,” Daniel spoke frantically to Adam.

Adam was worried about his master, but he couldn't refuse an order. He nodded. “Okay.”

Meanwhile, in the small house, a complete mess was brewing. There were five people there. Each of them was carrying a block in their hands.

A man sat in a chair with two legs propped up on a table. He laughed with satisfaction as he saw the three people in such dire straits.

“This is truly exhilarating. I don't know where that bastard is. I think he ended his life in frustration,” Billy said, his laughter filling the room.

“Make sure everything is destroyed. Don't leave a single piece behind. That damned man really needs to learn a lesson.”
