Return of the son-in-law

Chapter Two

Klaus massage his closed eyes, his phone was ringing again, he tries to calm his anger before picking this one. It was Richard, Clara brother. He is a presence Klaus can't ignore, Klaus was always on Richard black list, and he seized every opportunity he has to taunt Klaus. Klaus didn't want to hear his voice, neither can he ignore the call.

Klaus picks the call, the thunderous voice sounded immediately.

“Klaus are dumb are you. You are stupid Klaus” Richard roars from his side. Klaus couldn't help but listen, he was used to his insults, but he thought today was different.

“Richard—” Klaus wanted to ask what the problem was, but he was interrupt by Richard who hasn't finished.

“You are fool Klaus. How dare you!. How dare you!, you rat!. You have no shame Klaus!, you are a piece of cabbage!” he increases his voice, Klaus stops listening, he removed the phone from his ears, when his barking was done, Klaus place the phone back.

“What is it” Klaus asked gently. He was trying to calm himself, he has bigger issues here.

"I give you tomorrow! Klaus. Tomorrow!, if you don't divorce Clara before tomorrow!, she and her baby will be dish out from the family for good!!”. Klaus eyes widen, his heart skipped when he heard Richard words. He was puzzled when he heard her baby.

“Wait… I don't…. understand…. is Clara pregnant?” Klaus' voice was shaking, his legs were in the same rhymes. Richard paused before he answered. “You are useless Klaus, you are a fool!, can't you see how stupid you are?” he roars, Klaus wasn't listening to his insults, his body was shivering. All he wanted was to confirm if Clara was indeed pregnant.

He felt like Richard was joking since Clara never told him anything but knowing Richard for who he is, he had to believe a little but when he thinks about it, Clara face was unusual today, he could easily tell she was faking her beaming face, but he didn't say a thing, couldn't it be Richard was telling the truth. His body became warm. Richard sounded again.

“Don't bother seeking employment, mom made sure they smashed you out at sight” Richard voice soften, Klaus could tell, he was laughing when he said that.

“Divorce or be kicked out, your time is ticking” Richard cuts the call.

Klaus' eyes were blurring, the phone became really heavy that Klaus had to hold it with both hands, his body was suddenly cold.

Klaus was still in shock state, he couldn't believe Clara mom was the caused for him being jobless. She threw out him when he came asking, and now she responsible for everything. No wonder whenever he applied for a job they will tell him that the spot has been filled, some don't even allow him to enter the premises.

That why Klaus was sure he will get this particular one but surprising he was kicked out when he mentioned his name. Clara mom has been the rock behind this.

Klaus couldn't help but bite his lips hard, that wasn't the heart piercing thing. Clara is pregnant, and she will be kicked out if she remains with him. Klaus was between the devil and the deep blue sea, he couldn't imagine himself divorcing Clara, that was like taking a suicide pill but if he remains with her, she will be kicked out and the street won't even contain them.

'what do I do' Klaus was battling inside his mind, his head was twice heavier than before, he wanted to step forward, but it took all his energy to move one leg.

Klaus mouth was wide open, but he wasn't saying anything, he was finding it hard to breathe with his nose, so his mouth was performing that duty.

Klaus spot a Lincoln limo. heading his way, he was now like a statue with big eyes as he couldn't come up with anything favorable. He was stuck with one option.

the limousine pulled over a few meters away from Klaus. Klaus was about to look at the limousine again when some gorilla jumped out, they seized Klaus immediately. Klaus struggles to free himself, before he could break free a little, a black bag covers his vision. They dragged him inside the limo.

Klaus heart was racing, his body was vibrating, but he was held firm by those hefty men.

There was no need for him to struggle any more instead he directed his energy to his brain, Klaus couldn't think of any positive thing, why was his life going chaotic in less than day, he was kicked from his interview, Clara is pregnant, now he is being kidnapped by unknown men.

Klaus' eyes were wet, the thought that nobody will notice when he is gone crushed his mind, nobody knows if he exists anyway.

Klaus tears finally drop, a man shouldn't cry but when he thought about Clara and his unborn child, he couldn't help it, what will Clara think of him, she will think he ran away to avoid responsibility or betrayed. Just when Clara needed him the most, he vanished.

Klaus was seeing Clara face, her smiles, he couldn't help but wonder, what happens now, she will hate him not knowing he was kidnapped.

The car finally pulled over again. The men grab Klaus by the shoulders, they brought him out from the car.

Klaus was led inside the house, Klaus thinking back, he knows he was always calm, and he never offended anyone, instead he was always the one getting abused. Why on earth did this people kidnapped him, it was puzzle Klaus was trying to solve, perhaps he was mistaken for another person, he wished that was the case but will they drop him back if that was true, Klaus heart was drumming.

Klaus was brought to his knees, they removed the black bag from his face, Klaus quickly close his eyes, he wanted to scream 'you got the wrong person and I didn't see your faces' but he opened his eyes because he was curious to see his surrounding perhaps he can run away before things get bad.

Klaus saw a man approaching, his presence was filled with nobility, he had gray hair, but his face was squeezed. His step was making sounds and the earth seems to be shaking.

Coming closer, Klaus could see his eyebrows were down, his eyes were filled with fire, he swallowed his saliva, but he gazed to the old man eyes, he wasn't looking at Klaus, his eyes were on the hefty men behind him.

“Who did this! to our young master!” he shouted. The men stiff together.

“Who let you treat our young master this way” he roars.
