Prologue

Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean...

The loud gun shot can be heard around.

"You really shot me??!!!" Margaret shouted at her fiancee, John DeCordova. Her partner in the Phoenix assassination group that is known all over the world. They are set to get married next month. And at that time, they were on the man's private yacht so they could relax with her cousin Laura.

"Why not?" Laura's voice. "During the time that I lent you my boyfriend, isn't this the right time for me to take him back from you?" She approached John and then wrapped her arms around the man's waist.

Huh! So I was right!!" The eyes full of wonder turned to anger.. "You've been fooling me for a long time. Are you that jealous of me that you even planned to ruined my relationship? It's no wonder that until now you've only remained as a display in the Reyes family! "

"Shut up! I'm never jealous of you! You know why? Because from the very beginning you're just a fu*king tool for the family! You're from the orphanage! And since your job is done, it is time for you to disappear! " Laura's words are like blades that cut through Margaret's heart.. Tears started to flow from her eyes.

"Hahahaha! " Margaret let out a silly laugh. The pain in her chest started to strike. She was losing a lot of blood because of the gunshot wound.

"It means you can't admit to yourself that I'm better than you John DeCordova. I'm the better of the two of you. And you two are shameless losers!! "

"You fu*king shut up!" John gave her a strong slap. "You're maybe powerful but you're nothing now. You'll be dead soon. And no one's gonna know, no one's gonna miss you. You lose.. "

"You're right.. I might die.. But.. " Margaret steps backward, holding the rails of the yacht. "If I survive death today, I swear I will take revenge!!! You all gonna die by my hands!!!! I swear in the name of my life!!!! I will devour the PHOENIX!!!"

After saying those words, she quickly jumped into the ocean..

"No!! " due to the shock of the two, John was unable to fire his gun. "Shoot her!! She can't live anymore!! " he angrily ordered his men who quickly obeyed the order and began to fire the sea that where Margaret fell into.

"Kill her!! Kill her!! " Laura also shouted.. She was shaking with anger because of the words Margaret had uttered. "She can't live anymore!"

"Enough now.. The ocean is deep and wide. We are far from land too. " John embraced Laura and hugged her tightly. "She's gone now, everything's over.. " He said to the woman while kissing her forehead. But deep inside his mind... The last words of Margaret keeps playing like a music. "No.. That's never gonna happen..." He whispered to himself..

Meanwhile under the sea... Something unbelievable is happening....

A bright red light appeared in front of Margaret's eyes.. A light from her necklace. She bought it at the auction yesterday when she visited the New York auction house. It was named PHOENIX BLOOD because of its shape like a drop of blood with a fiery red color. Her blood is wrapping the pearl.. It feels like the pearl is absorbing it. And little by little, in the girl's eyes, the pearl became like real blood currently dancing in the sea water.. And before she could ever react, it entered her forehead at the same time as her vision gradually blurred and her pulse slowed. And so her heart...
