Xavier’s men were already lined up, waiting in black SUVs with tinted windows at the airport. Everything about the arrangement screamed money and protection, and Xavier made sure of it. If he wanted these men to hand him the leverage he needed against Antonio, then they had to feel safer with him than with Antonio.

“Escort them directly to the estate,” Xavier instructed, buttoning his tailored jacket. His voice was calm but carried the weight of command. “And make sure their phones are secured. No one outside this circle knows they’re here.”

The men, five of them in total, came down one after the other. They were poweful shareholders in Antonio’s company. Xavier had spent the past months studying each one of them, their businesses, their fears, their families. He wasn’t leaving anything to chance.

When they got to his estate, they had bottles of rare wine standing uncorked on the long mahogany table, cigars sat waiting, and a faint scent of leather mixed with sandalwood filled the a

The low vibration of the SUV filled the silence. Amber sat in the backseat, scrolling distractedly through her phone, when she noticed Dominic, her driver, adjusting the rearview mirror again.“Dominic,” she said sharply. “Why do you keep doing that?”His hands tightened on the wheel. “Don’t panic, Lady Amber. But I think that black sedan has been trailing us since we left Mr. Xavier’s.”Amber froze. Her phone slipped from her hand. “Trailing us? Are you sure?”Dominic nodded, his voice low and steady. “Yes. I’ve switched lanes three times. They switched too, maintaining same distance, and speed. They’re glued to us.”Amber’s pulse kicked as she leaned forward. “Step on it. Make sure you lose them.”“Yes, ma'am.” Dominic pressed the accelerator. The SUV roared down the half-empty road. Behind them, the black sedan surged too, closing the gap.Amber cursed under her breath. “Xavier tried to warned me minutes after I left his house. He said Antonio and Irene might come for me.”“Then th

  • Elephant in The Room

Xavier’s study was quiet except for the sound of the clock ticking on the far wall. Amber stepped in, her heels clicking lightly against the marble floor. She looked around, noting the glass of whiskey half-finished on the table, the papers scattered, the way Xavier leaned against the desk like he’d been waiting for hours. “Amber,” he said, his voice low but warm. “Xavier,” she replied softly, adjusting her jacket as she walked closer. “You sounded urgent when you called. What’s going on?”He studied her face, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “First, tell me. How have you been? How’s London?”Amber exhaled, easing into the chair opposite him. “London is… good. Busy and different from how I left.” She smirked faintly. “I’m still getting used to being the one in charge. Having power, people listening to me, and Obeying me.” She paused, her expression softening. “But I’ll confess, it’s intoxicating.”Xavier chuckled. “I can imagine. Power is a drug, once you taste it, you can’t sto

  • Lust Mixed With Danger

Antonio’s back hit the sheets with a grunt. Irene straddled him, her hair wild and her nails digging into his chest. His hands gripped her thighs, pulling her down harder as his jaw clenched. “Fuck,” he groaned, breath ragged. “You ride like the devil.”She leaned down, her lips brushing his ear. “Say it louder.”He bucked beneath her, forcing her gasp. “None of them...none of those women I’ve been with...ever rode me like this. You’re insane.”She laughed, breathless. “So the almighty Antonio finally admits it? Behind your walls of arrogance, you’re still shocked I can break you in bed.”Antonio smirked, flipping her to the side, his weight pressing down. He stared into her eyes, lips curling.“Who would’ve thought the Prime Minister’s perfect daughter is a monster in bed? The media worships your clean image, but in here…” He thrust again, making her moan. “…you’re filthier than every whore I’ve paid for.”She moaned into his shoulder, biting it. “And you love every second of it. • Godfather's debt

The room went silent the moment Teacher’s eyes settled on Celeste. He studied her with unsettling calm, like a predator who’d finally cornered wounded prey. Then he smirked. “Not so bad,” he said finally. “Not as bad as my boys described.”Celeste froze. “Your boys?”Teacher tilted his head, amused by her confusion. “Yes, Celeste. My boys. You didn’t actually think they were yours, did you?”Her face hardened. “They swore loyalty to me.”“They swore loyalty to power,” Teacher replied. His voice was silk, but his eyes gleamed sharp. “You had power once. Not anymore. Without me, you wouldn’t have lived past that warehouse. You’d be rotting in the ground beside Chris. Instead, I made sure your name disappeared. I covered your tracks. While you were being flown from one country to another, I made sure no one traced a single trail back to you. So, yes, Celeste, your boys, your safety, your survival...you owe all that to me.”Celeste’s jaw tightened. “I don’t owe you anything. I paid my d

  • The Ghost With One Leg

“Celeste?” His voice cracked. "This is unbelievable. How did it happen?"The woman smiled faintly, though her eyes carried years of pain. “You look like you’ve just seen a ghost.”Xavier froze, his knuckles tightening behind him. “Exactly! This doesn't make sense. Antonio’s men… the attack… Chris...” “Chris is dead.” She cut him off sharply, her voice trembling. “But not me, Xavier. Death didn’t want me.”The men who had dragged Xavier here stood silently, their heads lowered as though even they feared the presence of this woman.Xavier struggled to process it. “I buried you in my mind a thousand times. I lived with the guilt every single day.”Celeste gave a bitter laugh. “Guilt? You don’t know the meaning of guilt until you wake up every morning with pain eating you alive.”She lifted the hem of her long skirt slowly. Xavier’s eyes widened as he saw it, one slender real leg, and the other a prosthetic glinting under the dim light. His throat tightened. “My God…”Her voice shook,

  • Back From The Dead

The ride was long, the silence inside the car was heavy as Xavier sat with his hands clenched, eyes darting to the windows as the men flanking him stayed quiet. “Where the hell are we going?” His tone was sharp, but his voice was steady. The man in the passenger seat didn’t turn. “You’ll find out soon.”Xavier scoffed. “You expect me to believe you're a financial crime official? You think I don’t know a fake badge when I see one? If you know what’s good for you, turn this car around. Drop me where you picked me up, and I’ll pretend this never happened.”The man beside him pushed him back into his seat with a heavy palm. “Relax. We’re almost there.” “Almost where?” Xavier demanded. There was no reply. Just silence.Minutes turned to an hour. The skyline disappeared behind them, replaced by bush paths, deserted fields, and cracked roads. Xavier kept his eyes locked on the windows, memorizing every turn. He wasn’t stupid. Finally, the car screeched to a halt in front of a large aband
