Chapter 8: Police Commissioner

"Beep, beep, beep" his phone rang suddenly and the officer handed him the phone.

"Please accept my sincere apology young master. I dare not to miss your call." Anderson quickly apologized.

"I'm at Drawsbury police station. Come get me out of this place right now." James commanded like a true heir would. The officer was also surprised at James' words.

"Before your help arrives you are being charged for theft, assault of shoppers and disrupting peace at the supermarket" The policeman told James. James became angry because he had not stolen anything.

This is Wendy and Alex's handwork. Meanwhile, all he has to do now is to get out of this station and he will deal with them. For the first time, James didn't feel weak as he is used to being. He felt his system was already changing.

"Wendy I promise you that I'm no longer weak and wouldn't tolerate your bullshit anymore! You will pay for this." James whispered to himself.

"What did you say?" The police heard James whisper.

"How much will the bail cost?" James asked the policeman with audacity. The police noticed the sudden change in James' voice.

"Each offense is 5,000 dollars and you committed three making 15,000 dollars or your brokeass will be thrown inside the cell. That will be too bad for you, pray your help arrives soon." The policeman easily concluded that James wouldn't be able to afford bail. He will definitely have to throw him in the cell.

"He will arrive soon." James said confidently. Looking down on the floor James was lost in his thoughts with what Alex and Kevin had done to him.

In a jiffy Anderson arrived with the convoy. The way they drove inside the police station made the police officers rush out to see the dignitary that had visited them. The last time this kind of convoy visited the station was during its commissioning.

James on the other hand didn't move an inch and kept on staring at the floor. He was still thinking about how to deal with Wendy and her useless lover. It's payback time because he will never allow this slide.

Anderson quickly got down from the Rolls Royce. The officer quickly recognized him as the famous Anderson in Drawsbury town. He has several connections as they don't dare cross his line.

Immediately they saw Anderson approaching the two officers standing at attention paying him respect. Anderson didn't mind them as he quickly approached James and knelt down before him.

"Please accept my apologies young master. It was all my fault" Anderson pleaded to James while bowing at him. The two officers left their mouths open when they saw Anderson in action.

The two officers knew they were already in big trouble if Anderson could go up till this extent.

"I was accused of theft without investigation?" James asked rhetorically looking at the two officers.

"Young Master, I promise we will get to the root of the matter and justice must be served." Anderson pleaded to James.

The two officers quickly bow before James just like Anderson.

"Please forgive our manners." One of them quickly ran to the counter and brought James belongings, handing it over to him while bowing his head.

While they bowed for James, Anderson stood up and went to the office of the station house officer. Arriving in the office, the head immediately recognized Anderson and jumped to his feet. He had seen him in his screen monitor as he prays he doesn't come to his office and rather deal with the police officers on his own.

"Boss! Welcome to our station. You didn't have to come over here. All you need to do is to call and we will be with you in a second." The head of the station said as his heartbeat raced and voice vibrated as he spoke.

"Your officers have the guts to arrest the Heir to Robert's family?" Anderson asked with authority. The head quickly recognized who the Robert family was in Drawsbury.

"They must have mistaken him for someone else. No officer dares try to commit such. I will deal with them right away. I sincerely apologize to you sir on their behalf." The head pleaded with Micheal as he bowed to Micheal.

"Apologies? After the damage they have done? Do you even know the extent at which this has gone?" Micheal said, bringing out his phone. He logged on to the Drawsbury social app and showed the police head unit.

The head was surprised that James was subjected to such an extent. He wondered why the case wasn't reported to him until now as knew Anderson would deal with them. He was left in shock!

"Why am I even dealing with low-life like you people?" Anderson said rhetorically as he collected his phone with Force. He dialed the commissioner of police for Drawsbury town right away. The head was confused on what to do next as he couldn't save his boys from the atrocities they had committed.

After a few rings, the call was finally connected. "Hello Mr Anderson, I'm happy to hear from you. Is there any problem Mr Roberts would like me to attend to. I'm loyal to the service." The commissioner said. The phone was a bit loud and the head of police was eavesdropping on their conversation. His eyes widened he immediately recognized the voice as the commissioner's.

"I thought you trained your boys to carry out their duties excellently but you didn't…." Micheal paused when the head of the unit stood up quickly to the door and apologized to Mr Anderson before leaving the office for the counter.

"Every officer in Drawsbury knows who the Robert family is and dare not to cross your path." The commissioner said, assuring his loyalty.

"Check the social app and see for yourself!" Anderson said, hanging up the call. The commissioner quickly did as instructed. He saw James Robert was subjected to mockery on the app but didn't recognize him as a member of the Robert Family. This must be the reason for Anderson's call. He immediately dialed his line.

Meanwhile Anderson was about to leave the office when his phone rang out. "Your officers have the audacity to arrest the heir Roberts family for the offense he didn't commit?"

As soon as Anderson mentioned it was the heir of the Robert Family he knew his attention would be needed. He immediately told his convoy to drive straight to the police station. It's been more than ten years since they have been looking for him. He was excited as he was found due to the commission he would receive and as well as wanted to know what he was accused of.

Arriving at the counter, the two police officers were still prostrating at James' feet when their boss arrived. They stood up and saluted him and he ignored them and quickly apologized to James who was seated and allowed Anderson to handle the situation.

The head stood up and slapped the first officer who was the senior and ordered them to the cell immediately.

"Come back here!" The head of the station ordered them back.

"Who reported the case and why wasn't an investigation conducted before the accusation?" The head of the station asked the two officers who were shivering.

"We would have done that but the manager of The Expensive Quest and some insisted he should be sent to court immediately but we decided to grant him a bail." The police officer said, shivering with a broken voice.

Her art was a rebellion against the monochrome of urban life, a testament to the beauty of sustainability."Your designs," Elena said, pausing to look at James, "they're like bones of the Earth—strong, yet part of a living system."James was taken aback, unused to seeing their work through such a lens. "I've been expecting you."The apartment was a museum of engineering feats—a testament to Mr. Patel's life's work.
