“Ah!”

A sudden scream rang out from the entrance of the dojo.

Melanie Oakley had arrived.

The sight of corpses strewn across the floor made her freeze in shock.

At that instant, Carter, who had been lying seemingly unconscious, sprang to his feet. In a flash, he appeared next to Melanie, grabbing her by the throat.

Anthony’s brows furrowed instantly.

He had let his guard down.

“Hand over the Energy-gathering Pearl, or I’ll kill her,” Carter growled, eyes locked coldly on Anthony.

Philip Oakley's face darkened. He stopped circulating his energy and stood up abruptly. “You beast! Let go of my daughter!”

“Hah! Old man, keep dreaming!”

Carter glanced at his fellow disciples and shouted, “Brothers, this guy is too weird. We’re no match for him. Fall back and come over here.”

Clearly, Carter had realized the truth—they were outclassed.

Just a moment ago, he'd barely caught a glimpse of Anthony moving. It had been so fast, leaving no trace behind.

But Anthony, unfazed, looked calmly at Carte

In the next instant, a fearsome vortex exploded beneath his feet as he charged straight at Anthony.A terrifying aura swept across the room. The others looked on with cold sneers. But right at that moment—"Boom!!""Aargh!!"A scream tore through the air as Tank’s massive body was sent flying backwards, crashing through the wall and landing outside in a heap.Everyone's eyes widened in disbelief.Tank wasn't weak—his outburst just now was powerful enough to rival someone of Celestial Tier strength. But that ferocious attack had been effortlessly crushed! It was absurd. Unbelievable. All eyes turned to Anthony again. They couldn’t figure it out—just how powerful was this young man?"Who the hell is he?"Solace Nightshade furrowed his brows. He couldn’t sense any aura from Anthony—he seemed like an ordinary mortal. That was why he hadn’t paid him much attention at first. But now, he couldn’t afford to ignore him.He couldn’t read his strength, yet the strength he displayed was terrifyin

With the formula destroyed, Scarlett Osborne had now become a living version of it. Whoever controlled her would possess the formula itself. That much was clear to everyone present.Otto Isaacson, though his true intentions had been exposed, didn’t seem the least bit embarrassed. He glanced around the room and said with a grin, “Let’s not fight amongst ourselves. Only one family is walking out of here with Miss Osborne today. So if your family isn’t strong enough—save yourselves the trouble.”As he spoke, his eyes drifted to Arthur Watson.Arthur, of course, realized Otto was referring to him. Standing behind him was a burly man with a massive frame and a calm expression. Despite his unimpressive aura, there was something unnervingly composed about him, as if he were detached from all of this.Beatrice noticed it too. Her brow lifted slightly.A master, she thought. At least in the context of Otto and his ilk.“Hmph! Don’t be so sure. You might be the one who dies,” Arthur Watson repl

Soon, the grand hall was nearly empty.Only a handful of people remained—each one exuding formidable power.“Miss Osborne, most of the others have left. I suggest you hand over the formula and let us settle it among ourselves.”The speaker, a man dressed in black, scanned the remaining crowd with a cold gaze.He was Arthur Watson, heir to the ancient Watson family of Sea City.Everyone left in the hall had stayed for one reason: the formula. They were all from ancient clans, and a formula this miraculous couldn’t possibly remain in the hands of a “lesser” family like the Osbornes. Now that they had verified its authenticity, their true intentions surfaced.Scarlett Osborne looked at them with a calm smile. “As I said—this formula is not for sale. I’m seeking a powerful partner to collaborate with.”Arthur let out a low laugh. “Do you really think the Osborne family has the strength to protect it?”“Oh? Mr. Watson,” Scarlett replied, “you seem very confident in my formula.”“I intend t

Seeing Scarlett Osborne so composed and focused, the crowd gradually quieted down. The atmosphere grew still as all eyes turned toward the female reporter, watching closely for any changes. Most people remained skeptical. Half an hour? That wasn’t nearly enough time to see results—or so they believed.Time ticked away. And soon, thirty minutes had passed.Suddenly, the reporter gasped, “I feel something!”The crowd instantly turned toward her. The cameras whirred as journalists zoomed in to capture every detail. Then it happened.A faint black layer of impurities began to rise from the pores on her face.Scarlett Osborne let out a silent breath of relief. Her lips curved into a confident smile.“All right,” she said. “Please head backstage and take a shower.”“Yes, Miss Osborne!”The reporter clearly felt something stirring within her body. She quickly left the stage.Scarlett turned to the audience. “Just a moment longer, and you’ll witness a miracle.”Twenty minutes later, a tall, g

The venue was already packed to capacity. But while the event was buzzing with anticipation, a deadly undercurrent ran beneath the surface. At exactly eight o'clock, Scarlett Osborne stepped onto the stage with a calm and composed expression. She wore a faint smile, her demeanor flawless—no trace of unease. From the crowd below, Anthony observed her with quiet admiration. Her emotional control was remarkable. No wonder she could lead the Osborne family at such a young age. That same calm had been evident the day she had begged Anthony for the formula—this woman was no ordinary figure. But just then, a faint, almost imperceptible force surged toward Scarlett Osborne, causing her heart to seize.Anthony noticed it immediately. Tracing the energy’s source, his eyes landed on a man seated in the crowd—cold and expressionless.Otto Isaacson. The same Otto from the Isaacson family of Auroria City—the ancient and powerful clan. They’d encountered him just yesterday at the restaurant.Anthony

They had been someone’s beloved children, and yet they were killed so casually—so cruelly—by this man.“No! Please! Stop shooting!”The old man’s face turned ashen.Watching his colleagues fall one by one before his eyes filled him with agony and sorrow. He knew just how valuable that formula was. If successfully developed, it could dominate the entire national market. And he understood one thing very clearly: no matter how many of them died, they were still not as important as that formula. The fact that Miss Scarlett Osborne had entrusted it to him meant she had placed extraordinary trust in him.He could not betray that trust.Clenching his teeth, the old man looked Otto in the eye and said, “Let me tell you something—only Miss Osborne and I know where the formula is. You can kill everyone here, but you’ll never get your hands on it without me.”Otto’s expression twisted. He clutched his head in frustration and shouted, “Fuck! You stubborn old bastard—what do you want, huh? Money?
