For a while, he was a little bit startled and did not know what to do.

Random thoughts ran through his mind almost immediately. "Could it be that I had been deceived?" He thought in his head but he shook the thoughts off from his head almost immediately.

"It certainly cannot be possible." He reminded himself.

"Hey, mister. See for yourself now how foolish you can be?" She growled at him with so much hate and disgust in her voice.

"See, I think that this was all a mistake." He tried to see but they would not give him breathing space to spit out a single word out from his mouth.

"A mistake you Said?" Evelyn returned a glare at him.

"I hate people of your kind so you. They already caught you. Why don't you say the truth and just fuck off?"

"Hey, mister. You have to leave now you will be forcing me to get the security. And this time, I will have to tell you that I am not joking."

The noise that rose from the desk became so much that it attracted the attention of a prominent person in the hotel.

Ethan heard footsteps behind him, so delicate that he could not help but turn around to see who it was.

It was an extravagantly dressed man with a Broad smile and the whitest sets of it. And his Aura alone was breathtaking.

"What is going on here?" He Inquired with so much air of authority in his voice.

"It's one of these bums as they usually do. But this is different and rude and is only here to make trouble."

"But don't worry sir. I will get the security to keep him out right away." She leashed at Ethan.

"Is that so?" His feet swayed around gracefully towards Ethan who despite everything still had his face high up in the air.

"I think there is a mistake here.." He tried today but the manager was hardly listening to him now as there was a strange expression on his face.

One of recognition.

"You are going to keep explaining All your life without evidence." The receptionist returned to him.

"Do I know you from somewhere?"  He inquired staring right into Ethan's eyes making him pause for a while.

"I don't think so.." His words shattered in echoes.

"And what did you say the problem was again?" He gave Ethan the chance to establish his claims.

"I tried to get a meal but the machine somehow declined my card. I don't know what is going on now." He replied.

For a while, the manager was startled by his air of confidence and he pushed his hands towards Ethan.

He got the message immediately, reaching out to his pocket pointing it over to the manager, and hanging it over to him.

"Here it is." He announced.

The manager caressed the surface of the card.

"There is only one way for us to find out." He mumbled but then, it did not seem as though he was talking to anyone there, he was talking to himself.

He turned around and walked behind the desk to the office while they tried to stop him from doing so.

"Sir. You are a busy man and there is no need to waste time on this bum." The receptionist noted but the manager was hardly listening to her now.

He returned a few minutes later with the machine right in his heart.

It was natural for his heart to race fast but he assumed a strange calm that surpassed his understanding.

The card went into the card slot and the card began to beep gradually.

"One. Two." The letters came to life simultaneously.

"Sir, I told you this was a waste." He noted.

A slight escaped from the lips of the manager as he walked gradually towards Ethan.

"I am sorry but I guess that is.." He was about to say but the machine made a sudden pause.

"Lifetime infinity." He finally heard.

Evelyn's heart skipped a beat at the words that she just heard and she was about to say something but her lips broke into a stutter.

"A lifetime infinity? Hie is that even possible? How can anyone possibly get such?" She was able to get herself to say a word.

"It's obvious, isn't it? That must be a glitch in the system." Her boyfriend who had always Kept cool finally said.

"It's most likely impossible for this machine to make a mistake." He announced it to them but even with his explanation, they still found it difficult to believe any word of it."

"Sir.. you know that no one can get a lifetime right?"

"That is where you are wrong. There are a handful of people from the Gift that do."

"That's the Geftan group, Sir. Just look at him. He looks like an unfortunate dog that just got missing."

The manager blew hot red with so much anger in his voice.

"Not another word Evelyn. How dare you talk to a potential client that way?"

"But sir... I know him too. My cousin just divorced him."

To clarify all the doubts, he checked the Machine again but it was still the same just as he had expected.

"You can have whatever you want sir." The manager said With a smile hanging on his face.

"That's why I noticed that you looked familiar. I am sorry and I will punish her accordingly." He noted.

"But sir.."

"No buts. I will have to decrease your salary by half." He ended.

"Thanks, sir." Ethan finalized and he was led to one of the tables.

He finished eating the perfect meal for the first time he was born and for the first time, he was satisfied.

He got up to leave after one of the hostesses cleaned him up and said With a slight bow.

"It's an honor it has to be here sir." She said With a broad smile hanging on her face.

But while he was walking away knowing that he had a long day ahead of him the previous day, he noticed something really strange that he could not pull his eyes away from.

Evelyn and her boyfriend were still standing at the desk and it seemed to be sweating badly.

"I didn't know that the both of you were bums too." The receptionist yelled at them with a face of horror while listening to him as she sobbed.

"Ma'am, I am certain that this is a big misunderstanding. I had the money here a few moments ago."

"Charles. I can't believe that you did this to me." Evelyn lamented with tears in her eyes.

He could not help it as he pulled towards them and the manager seeing him managed to pull a smile that did not last on his face for that long.

"Good day, sir. Hope you enjoyed your meal?" His hands were clipped.

"Yeah. It was one of the best. But what is going on here?" He Inquired.

"Guess they are the real bums hereafter and I had fallen for their useless tricks."

"Now I have to call the police."

"Sir. I swear that we had the money right here." He announced.

Just then, Ethan heard his phone beeping almost immediately and he had to check who it was that just sent him a message.

It turned out that it was his gradually. He opened the messages quickly and his eyes fell into bewilderment at what it was that he saw before him.

"Don't let anyone make a mess of your grandson. You are my heir now. And I am not done either." He announced.
