"Evelyn, Oscar, Nathan, I want to see all three of them tomorrow, and they need to join my wife's company," Ethan Blackwood said before turning and leaving.

Chloe Moore let out a bitter smile. Things had gotten out of hand. What was supposed to be a collaboration had turned into a matter of atonement, and the worst part was that she had to make it right.

Otherwise, the Moore family could face serious trouble. Fortunately, Mr. Ethan still needed them. And as for her, she was dreading how her brother would scold her.

She had only intended to test the waters a little, thinking it was harmless, but Morgan Moore probably never expected her to stir up such a big mess. While she wore a troubled expression, she had no idea that a woman had witnessed the earlier scene.

"Gotcha! There's definitely something shady going on here," Beatrice Thompson thought to herself as she sat in a corner of the cafe, gritting her teeth while staring at a photo on her phone.

It showed Ethan Blackwood standing in front of Chloe Moore, handing her a necklace and talking. She couldn't hear what they were saying, but a man and a woman alone in a private room could only mean one thing-they were up to no good. "Ethan Blackwood, how could you betray my sister like this after all she's done for you? Good thing I caught this on camera," Beatrice said fiercely.

She had run away from home the night before, feeling frustrated, and came to the cafe for a coffee. She never expected to witness such a betrayal from Ethan Blackwood.

"Ethan Blackwood, really? Is my sister not pretty enough for him? How could he be with another woman? No way, I have to go back tonight," Beatrice Thompson muttered, clenching her fists.

She was determined to confront this situation and make her brother realize Ethan Blackwood ulterior motives, to show him that this guy was not a good person. However, halfway there, she received a text message.

It was from Eden Jackson!

A smile spread across Beatrice's face as she replied with just two words: "Sounds good."

Meanwhile, Ethan Blackwood had returned home. He decided not to hold a grudge against the Moore family for now.

Depending on their attitude, he might still be able to collaborate with them. If they were friendly, things could continue smoothly. But if they were uncooperative, the Moore family might find themselves in a tough spot.

While he wouldn't bring about their complete downfall, he could certainly make them feel the pressure. He despised those who repaid kindness with malice.

However, when he arrived at the Thompson family villa, he noticed something unusual-a sleek Rolls Royce parked at the entrance, clearly indicating that Someone was there.

Sitting in the driver's seat was Ryan Blackwood, who wore a mocking expression as he watched Ethan approach. Upon entering, Ethan found Eden Jackson inside, already healed from his injuries.

Eden Jackson knelt on one knee, holding a large bouquet of roses in one hand and a small box in the other, looking deeply into Jasmine's eyes. "Jasmine, l'm sincere. I like you. Will you be my girlfriend? These roses were shipped from the West, and they're beautiful-each one costs over a thousand. Oh, and | also have this," he said, revealing a necklace.

"It's called the Heart of an Angel."

"The Heart of an Angel! That's the one that's only for display in Panama City and isn't for sale! I remember it's priced at eight hundred ninety thousand!

And that's just the listed price; if it were to be sold, it would be Worth over a million, especially since it's the pinnacle work of that master!" Jasmine hadn't even had a chance to respond before Salome gasped in shock.

Salome had always thought highly of Eden. She had opened the door for him today, but she never expected him to go all out like this. She stepped closer, her eyes wide. "Oh my gosh, these roses from the West are worth a fortune, and you brought so many!"

"This is nothing," Eden replied earnestly. "If it weren't for the fact that the Prague roses aren't in bloom this season, I would have definitely brought those for Jasmine." In reality, the Prague roses were in bloom, but they were far too expensive.

The roses he held were also from the West, costing him a thousand each, and this bouquet had already set him back quite a bit. If he had gone for the Prague roses, he might have fainted from the price.

"Oh my gosh, Eden Jackson... " Salome was already a bit enchanted, finding him more and more appealing with each passing moment. However, Jasmine shot him a curious look.

"The Heart of an Angel? l just heard that a big shot bought it today. Was that you?" "The Heart of an Angel is not for sale. It's just for exhibition. If you want to buy it, you need not only money but also enough power," she said, referring to the big shots involved.

"Yes, I used my family connections and all the money I've earned over the years to buy this necklace for you, Jasmine. I love you," Eden Jackson continued, his voice filled with emotion.

As a wealthy playboy, he had the smooth talk down pat. But as for the Heart of an Angel? It was nothing special. Just an ordinary necklace worth maybe seventy or eighty thousand.

He didn't mind inflating its worth to claim it was a multi-million-dollar piece. In fact, when he heard that a big shot had bought this necklace, the idea struck him.

Impersonation!

After all, Jasmine wasn't a professional; she wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The big shot who bought the necklace wouldn't be using it anytime soon, so he could easily claim it was the Heart of an Angel, hoping to impress Jasmine and win her over.

Even if he got exposed later, it wouldn't matter. By then, they would have already crossed that line. For now, no one was around to call him out on it. "Darling, look at Mr. Eden! He even bought you the Heart of an Angel! This is..." Eden Jackson exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement, unable to hide her joy.

Eden Jackson wore a smile on his face. But the next moment, a voice echoed through the hall. "His Angel Heart is fake." Everyone froze.

They turned to see Ethan Blackwood entering the room. Eden's heart raced for a moment. Could someone have figured out his secret? But when he saw it was Ethan, he instantly relaxed.

This loser couldn't possibly tell the difference. "Ethan Blackwood, what's the matter? You think you can't afford a good necklace, so you come here to slander my Angel Heart? Do you really think that will work?" Eden sneered.

"Yeah, what a joke! Angel Heart? You probably haven't even seen one before. People like you don't understand what an Angel Heart is. How ridiculous! What gives you the right to say it's fake?" Eden Jackson chimed in, hands on her hips, fuming with anger.

How could this loser claim her thousand-dollar necklace was fake? It was infuriating!

What! The Moore family members were taken aback. "How dare he, Briggs!" Liam slammed his hand on the table in frustration. Uncle Adrian, also known as Adrian Jackson, who was still nursing his serious injuries nearby, looked equally confused. Why was his disciple here? Just then, a furious voice rang out from the doorway: "Liam Moore, you old fool! I heard my master was seriously injured, and yet you had the audacity to invite that injured person into the Moore family and even host a banquet for him!" With each word filled with anger, a group of men dressed in white martial arts uniforms entered, led by a middle-aged man brimming with vitality. His fists looked incredibly powerful, capable of easly taking down a professional security guard with just a few strikes. Surrounding him were a dozen or so men, clearly his disciples, who followed him in. Bang! After kicking a security guard aside, Briggs Holland turned to Liam and said, "Liam Moore." "What do you mean, Ho

"I have feelings for you, but even though we've been living together for four years, it's really just the beginning, isn't it? I want to give you a chance. I think, over time, I will truly come to like you, but not right now." "This angel heart necklace... I think I should keep it for now. I don't want you giving it to another woman. If one day I really do fall for you, then l'll wear this necklace and show up in front of you. How does that sound Jasmine peeked out, her eyes sparkling with a hint of hope as she asked. "Sounds good," Ethan nodded, though a pang of pain shot through his heart. He understood the reason behind her hesitation. Jasmine had lost her father in a car accident during college, making her the eldest in her family. She had always acted maturely. She had focused on her business studies and had never been close to any other boys. Perhaps he was the first. Because of that, she was inexperienced in this area, and at that moment, the powerful CEO felt like a li

"Actually, there's no need to go through all this trouble." Ethan stepped forward. "What's wrong, our dear son-in-law?" one of the women, Phoebe, asked warmly. Ethan was quite the catch himself. However, his words left everyone frozen in place. "In fact, the Moore family hasn't helped us as much as you think. The reason they partnered with Elite Group today is that their patriarch is seriously ill. I happened to come across an ancient remedy that eased his condition, so the Moore family owes me a favor." "When they asked what I wanted, I simply said I wanted a sky full of roses and a necklace. Beyond that, I didn't ask for anything else. Now, that favor has been repaid, and the Moore family is unlikely to assist us again. In fact, Morgan Moore probably won't even talk to me anymore, considering I'm just a nobody. " Ethan shrugged, "So, the partnership between Elite Group and the Moore family ends here. If you want to collaborate on development, you won't achieve much." "No,

At the back of the room stood an elderly man, around seventy years old, with a somewhat stern expression. This was Henry Thompson, the head of the Thompson family, also known as Wyatt. He stepped forward, intending to greet Jasmine Thompson, but she remained motionless, which made him want to explode with anger. "Niece, call me Grandpa," Piper Thompson, her uncle, urged. "Grandpa? Haven't I been disowned from the family? What right do I have to call you Grandpa? Don't you think?" Jasmine replied coldly. Yes, she had been disowned. Her entire family had been struck from the family tree. Call him Grandpa? Ha! "Uh... what happened back then was a misunderstanding. We were reckless, we were reckless.." Piper quickly interjected. At the same time, he shot a glance at Wyatt. Wyatt frowned, clearly reluctant, but still said, "Yes, a misunderstanding." "Niece, please let us in. It's not right to wait out here at the door, is it?" Piper continued. That makes sense!

"I'm sorry, Ethan." Jasmine buried her face in Ethan's chest, tears streaming down her cheeks. "It's... it's okay." Ethan placed one hand on Jasmine's back, feeling the softness of her long hair for the first time. But just then, Jasmine pulled away from him and turned to face Ava and Emerald. She rolled up her sleeves, her beautiful eyes blazing with anger. The fierce side of her was about to come Out. "Are you the one involved? How do you know my husband and I have problems? You're just an outsider! What gives you the right to comment on our relationship? Do I need to report to you about my marriage? Who do you think you are? Why should I explain anything to you?" "Do you even know that he and I have never held hands? Did you know he slept on the floor for four years? You don't know anything, yet you dare to insult me! What gives you the right? Who do you think you are?" In that moment, Jasmine transformed into someone fierce and unapologetic. Protective! l am fierce

"Oh my God, it's a Prague Rose!" The people present were all wealthy and influential, part of the upper crust of Panama City. Some recognized the significance immediately and "A Prague Rose! This is a declaration of love!" Someone gasped in surprise. Salome and Beatrice exchanged excited glances. At this moment, the only person who could be making such a bold gesture was Eden Jackson. They had guessed correctly, Eden really did have feelings for her sister. However, Eden's face turned pale. The Prague Rose completely overshadowed the ordinary roses he had given yesterday. It was a crushing defeat! His roses were just the most basic kind, while this was a Prague Rose-worth a fortune! Just then, three people stepped forward and approached Jasmine Thompson, bowing slightly. "President Jasmine, we would like to apply for a position. We hope there might be an opportunity for this caused a stir. "Oh my God, Evelyn, Oscar, and Nathan these three are top talents in the indust
